Rania's Invisible Search

Rania's Invisible Search
PART 4 MYSTERY DISCOVERY OF CORPSES

For a moment I was silent after hearing the kuntilanak's words. And when I turned my face, it turned out that there was already a woman using a kebaya and a scarf wrapped around her hip. He nodded his head while smiling in a knot at me, and I responded with a slight bow of face. But after I held my head up, the woman with the kebaya had already disappeared. I don't know where the woman went, her smile was shady and the eyes were glaring.

"Who was that woman, why do I feel like I've seen her. But I'm not sure where to look." I muttered with a frown.

Hihihihih. Chuckling Endang managed to break my mind.

“If you want me to help you, don't laugh too often like that near me. Long time I can hang tau!”my bluff with a waist rack.

Then Endang darted away from me, but I knew he would see me often. Because he asked me for help.

After that I decided to go back to the office, to start writing news about the discovery of the corpse today.

I'll title “Discovery of Unidentified Corpse With Incomplete Circumstances.”

-----

I'll finish my job soon, so that the news becomes hot news. Yes, of course because only I can get into the CTF. Although I'm not allowed to take pictures, at least I got something from inside the old building. Something that might be used as evidence, or a clue about who the identity of the corpse.

After sending the news file I wrote, I immediately tidied up my desk and prepared to go home.

Triings. There's a message coming in from Wati.

“Ran, I have to return to the Village for a few days. Because my mom got sick all of a sudden, and no one took care of her. You okay alone at the kost?”

Immediately I reply to a message from Wati, if I'm okay alone. Indeed, before we moved to the City, the condition of Bude Walimah was a little weak. Because he had to take care of the garden and rice fields that were inherited by himself, even though there were villagers who helped him. Still other important matters, he must himself intervene. Fortunately, there was no work call for Wati, so he could still go back to the village.

Wati deliberately stayed at the boarding house with me, worried if I got interference from the demit in the boarding house. Because according to some neighbors, the boarding house we occupy, there has been a bloody tragedy in the past. But fortunately, as long as we stayed there, nothing happened.

I walked up to the busway stop, waiting with some people with tired faces. Suddenly I heard a motor horn.

Tiiin tiin. When I saw that there was Mas Adit beside the stop, he waved his hand.

“Eh Mas Adit, where are you going? How's the case going? Are there any new facts that have been revealed?” I ask non-stop.

“Please! If it is one-on-one do not be encouraged in one conversation!” he said with a crack.

“Hehehe. Yes yes, sorry. Where is Mas Adit going through here?”

With pleasure, I immediately hitchhiked on his bike. We walked down the capital city street during the hours of work. Crowded and filled with a variety of vehicles, along the way we spent time chatting ngalor ngidul ga clearly. Discuss the college days at that time.

“If I didn't pass quickly, maybe now you've become my lover Ran.” Mas Adit said with his motorbike.

“Asaan mas do not have to joke, let's quickly walk. Tuh motor on the back already horn from earlier!” I pinched Mas Adit's arm.

Without feeling the motorbike we were riding had arrived in front of the boarding house, I immediately went down and looked around. It feels very quiet this place, surely no residents have returned home. Inner me astonished.

“Ayo Mas please stop by first, I made you a special coffee.” I deliberately did not discuss Mas Adit's words while on the road earlier. And I switched the conversation about the case he had in hand.

“Oh yes about that Ran, I get a clue about the identity of the woman. It looks like it's a nomad like us. And it's possible that he lived somewhere in this city, so he didn't bring an identity card when the bad thing happened to him.”

“Actually I also thought the same thing as you Mas, the corpse was wearing a kebaya and a scarf on his waist. Then there are a variety of sajen there, including canang commonly used by Balinese people to pray. Is it possible that he was from there?”

Degh's... My heart suddenly skipped a beat and was irregular. I remember a woman wearing the same clothes as the corpse. In the car park near the old building, the woman smiled at me. That was not the spirit of that woman. My mind churned, thinking of something I had just realized.

Ah stupid me, I had felt I knew him but did not know where. Because I only saw the clothes he was wearing. Since the corpse had no head, how could I recognize its face. I patted myself, feeling stupid about myself.

“Hey, why Ran? He said he'd make coffee for me? How about even talking to yourself?” tanya Mas Adit woke me up.

“Eh yes Mas, briefly yes. Want milk coffee or black coffee?”

“Black coffee just Ran, let me get my eyes. After this I have to go to Medika Hospital, to see the autopsy process.”

After I finished making black coffee for Mas Adit, I immediately served it with coconut biscuits as a snack.

“Mas is something I want to tell you. But promise yes do not get angry, please.”I look at his face by putting both hands together in front of the chest.

His eyes narrowed, looking at me with frowning eyebrows. He figured I'd find something in the old building at the crime scene. Without making small talk, I opened the backpack I was still putting on the porch seat, I unzipped it and pulled out the dusty old box I was carrying from one of the rooms of the old building.

“I found this in one of the rooms, because it was locked I couldn't open it. That's why I decided to take him. There was one of the old building's ghost waiters who told me that this box belonged to someone who kept Leak. Mas Adit knows Leak, right? Whether it's a legend or a myth in Bali, which obviously this object could be a clue to uncover the mystery of the corpse. Because I know, you wouldn't easily believe such supernatural things. I decided not to tell you, and wanted to investigate it myself.” I explained by holding a wooden box on my lap.

“Aw Rania! Why did you do that, it could be a problem if anyone knew you were taking something at the scene. You'll be considered tampering with evidence or not!” he said firmly by breathing out a long breath.
