Rainy

Rainy
Acceptable

“This is really the address?”

Rainy muttered as he looked at a building in front of him, occasionally looking down to see a cell phone containing the address of a cafe which Alika said belonged to her uncle.

After checking several times to make sure he was not wrong place then Rainy entered the door of the cafe. Cafe is not too crowded at this time, there are only a few people who are drinking coffee alone and also some who are doing something.

“Welcome, want to order what?” asked a woman who worked as a cashier there when she saw Rainy walking over with a look of bewilderment.

“Please excuse me, Brother. I don't want to order anything, but said my friend here open a job vacancy, huh, sister? Can I still register?” Rainy asked somewhat carefully.

The woman in front of him smiled then nodded her head. “Still, can you wait a minute? I call the boss first if anyone wants to apply for a job.”

Rainy nodded, waiting for the cashier to call his boss while Rainy scanned the surroundings of the cafe that Rainy had just realized this place was pretty good.

This cafe is vintage style. Using furniture that is mostly made of wood with predominantly brown color that adds to the impression of old felt.

There are ornaments such as bicycle replica hanging, wall clock models, to classic lights mounted with candlesticks.

“Dek, please wait a moment, Mr. Alvin, the owner of this cafe is soon down,” said the cashier after finishing calling.

Rainy sat himself in one of the chairs not far from the cashier's desk. When he came home from school, once he got home and did nothing, Rainy decided to go straight to this cafe.

It is true that the cafe is not too far from the housing complex where he lives. Rainy only needed to book an ojek online and travel for five to eight minutes.

When Rainy was staring blankly at the table in front of him, a voice again pulled Rainy to his senses. The girl looked up, looking at a man who still looked rather young.

“Rainy, yes?” tanyakanya.

“Iya .. Pak.”

The man in front of him laughed. “Don't call me sir, I'm not your boss yet. Oh, yeah, you're Alika's friend, right? He told me that his friend needed a job.”

“Yes, Sir-er, Om.” Rainy stuttered, he was confused as to what to call but still invited laughter from the man.

“I'm Alvin, the owner of this cafe. Can we have a chat for a second? There is something I want to ask before I accept you work here,” said Alvin who was sitting opposite Rainy.

The girl nodded her head. Is this some kind of interview? “Can, Om, can.”

“Good, don't tense ya. We are no longer testing. This is just a regular question.”

Rainy smiled awkwardly when he found out that he was a little nervous. Rainy will look nervous if when faced, Rainy did not look at the interlocutor and his eyeballs glanced here and there. Sometimes Rainy also looks nervous if his hands are linked to each other and will bite his lower lip.

Alvin started asking questions about the work Rainy was going to do. Rainy thought, the question will be difficult. But it turns out just to make sure when Rainy can get in and the time to go home. Alvin also had time to ask about the salary that Rainy will receive, but Rainy only followed according to the provisions of this cafe.

“Well, three hundred thousand during the week, I will give in the last day before you take off, huh? It means saturday. Don't mind, do you?” ask Alvin.

“No, Om-er, Sir,” replied Rainy with a headband. “So I was accepted?”

Alvin chuckles again, “Alika has threatened I must accept you, before I ask you earlier, it is already intending to accept you work here. I just want to make sure your schedule so that other working hours do not change.”

Rainy nodded in understanding. “Thank you, Sir.”

“You can start work tomorrow, or today can too. But just to learn what you have to do, later I will have one of them help you, yes. If so I go first, welcome to join Rainy.”

Alvin stood up, followed by Rainy. Then they shook hands and Alvin left afterwards. The flustered Rainy just kept silent while thinking about what he should do after this.

But, fortunately, the confusion was trimmed when one of the employees at this cafe approached him. She's a woman who served as a cashier. Beautiful woman with a shady face.

The woman waved her hand. “You've been accepted, right? Mr. Alvin told me to teach you what to do here.”

“Iya ..Kak,” said Rainy who was again confused by the call on the woman, just like Alvin earlier.

“Azura. That's my name, call Brother, huh? You can later ask anything you do not know, later on Brother help,” he said introducing himself.

Rainy smiled and nodded. That afternoon, Rainy spent studying and knowing every corner of the cafe that would be his place to work. What not to do until what Rainy had to do. Even Rainy became acquainted with several other ministries and baristas there.

At five o'clock in the afternoon, Rainy was advised to go home. Rainy doesn't have to come home tonight because it's not time for him to work. Using an online motorcycle taxi, Rainy came home. But not until home, but Rainy down in front of the minimarket which is not far from his home.

Rainy bought some necessities there and some snacks to reduce boredom while being alone.

Rainy took out a hundred thousand dollars while making payment at the cashier. After receiving the change, Rainy can go home while carrying plastic groceries.

“Woy! Rain!”

“What?” ask Rainy.

Aksa took off her helmet and looked at Rainy annoyed. “Lo from where the hell? I also searched for it.”

“Emang I told?” Rainy asked with his face flat.

“Ya is not lo. But Aunt Risa's worried about you. This hour has not come home yet, want to go ngabarin first!”

Rainy gasped when he realized he had forgotten to tell Aunt Risa because when he came home from school, his aunt was not home. The girl grimaced softly.

“Gue forgot,” he said softly.

Aksa clucked. “Well that, one of your bad habits. Good thing I met you here, if you later you why on the road how? Who wants nolongin?”

“Lo doain I got a bad thing?” Rainy's face turned flat again.

Aksa rolled his eyeballs, he put his helmet back on and turned on the motor. “Come, Up.”

“No! I walk away, already deket,” reject Rainy when Aksa invites him.

“Don't be stubborn first can not anyway? Now Aunt Lo again confused nyari lo. Guilty no, huh?”

Aksa's rude remarks caused Rainy to throttle, but Rainy kept riding Aksa's motorbike despite being annoyed that Aksa had suddenly become violent from anger.

Up in the seat, suddenly …

NAH!

“Aduhh!” aksa shouted as soon as his head got a blow from Rainy, despite wearing a helmet but his head was still pushed forward.

“Lo what the hell, Rainy?” ask Aksa annoyed.

“Ngot nothing, I just hit the cockroach earlier,”sahut Rainy with a lazy tone.

Aksa grunted annoyedly. Not wanting to prolong the debate, he finally launched his bike. Because the house is not far away anymore, not until three minutes they have arrived in front of Rainy's house. The sight of aunt Risa waiting on the terrace made Rainy feel guilty.

“Tante .. ” call Rainy as soon as he gets off the Aksa motor.

Aunt Risa turned her head, and her worried face turned relieved when she saw Rainy had arrived safely. “Where are you, Ai? How come you didn't say Auntie?”

“Tante thinks you haven't come home from school, but your uniform is already in the room. Next time you go anywhere you know, Auntie, huh? Don't say gini,” said aunt Risa makes Rainy's guilt even greater.

“Sorry, Aunt. I totally forgot to make my auntie. I was at the temen house, want to do PR together.”

Aunty nodded her head, but another with Aksa who raised next to an eyebrow. THE PR? Even Aksa remembers Rainy always working on her PR at school. Not at a friend's house, so where did Rainy come from?

Aunty Risa turned to Aksa who is still loyal on her bike. “Aksa, thank you for helping Aunt find Rainy. Sorry to take nicotine, yes?”

Aksa immediately shook her head. “Ngak papa Aunty, do not ngerepotin kok,” he said.

“In that case, Aksa said yes, Aunt,” her patch that got the nod from aunt Risa.

After Aksa leaves, Risa's aunt invites Rainy to come in and take a bath. Soon after night, they still had to eat dinner before resting.

“Tomorrow don't gini again, huh? Aunt was worried. At least send your aunt a message again where and who. Let Aunt not worry too much.” Risa's aunt told her before Rainy went into her room.

Ten o'clock at night, when Rainy was about to rest his body after tidying up the books for tomorrow was taken to school. Suddenly his phone on the nightstand rang, and Rainy opened his eyes again to see who was calling these nights.

'Bang Bhara'

The name of the contact instantly made Rainy wake up from his sleeping position. Rainy looked at the clock, and it was night. Tumben once his brother called himself at this hour.

The time difference between Indonesia and London makes the two difficult to relate. In addition to the time difference, sometimes they can not ask each other the news because it is hindered by Bhara's many college assignments. Even a week only one to two times they call or send messages.

With the rest of the confusion, Rainy pressed the green button and activated the loudspeaker and then pressed the flat object into his ear.

“Halo, Bang?”
