Chapter 8. The Long Day.

This morning seemed so bright, Lana who was ready to go to pick up Dinda. Before stepping out, Lana said goodbye to the mother and then walked out of the house to her motorcycle. Lana rode her motorcycle towards Dinda's house. 

Tin..tin.

Before long Dinda came out with a small bag on her back. There were not many pleasantries Lana and Dinda rushed off towards Lia's house as a gathering point. It turns out that Lana and Dinda were preceded by Apoy who had arrived first to pick up Lia.

" i'm sorry so late" said Lana.

Lana is just a pleasantries, Lana understands if Lana and Dinda arrive late Apoy can have a longer casual chat at Lia's house. After all the gathering did not linger, they immediately went to Bara's house. There they will meet Nusa who will wait for them. Upon their arrival at Bara's house, they rushed straight on to the village near the foot of the mountain. This time they drove a car owned by Nusa to arrive at their destination. Quite a long journey time ago, the crowded streets instantly became deserted. Only local residents are bringing some of their gardens to sell to the city. After a long journey they finally arrived at a house owned by Pak Sukirman who became the chief administrator of the village. Nusa had known Pak Sukirman's house first, because when Nusa and his friends will carry out KKN in this village Nusa asked permission first to Pak Sukirman.

" Assalamualaikum" said Nusa.

Several times Nusa said hello. I heard a response from inside the house. A man not too old came out of the house.

" Eh nak Nusa, let's go in first?" said Mr. Sukirman.

They entered and sat in the living room. Without much ado they immediately explained the purpose of their arrival here.

In the personal opinion of Mr. Sukirman, he agreed to the opinion but this decision should not be decided unilaterally. Mr. Sukirman had to chat first with the villagers and other village administrators. Lana, Nusa, Apoy, Dinda and Lia did not mind to be patient waiting for news. After that they say goodbye to Mr. Sukirman.

Lana is reminded of Dinda and Lia's desire to see the waterfall that Lana told her about. Finally, Lana invites Nusa and Apoy to stop by the waterfall and also meet the middle-aged father of bamboo house owners. Upon their arrival there, visible from the glass of the middle-aged father's car was sitting on the porch of his house while burning tobacco.

" Assalamualaikum" said Nusa.

" Waalaikumsalam" replied the middle-aged father.

They chatted for a moment, not forgetting Lana, Nusa and Apoy to try the tobacco taste of the father. After that they continued on foot to the waterfall.they continued walking, until they arrived at their destination. Lana sees Dinda's unblinking eyes when the beauty of the waterfall that raises the rainbow. Do not forget they capture the moment in the form of a photo. Then they sat on a big rock. Rushing Apoy unpacked the contents of the daypack he brought. Apoy Take out a small stove, gas, nesting, coffee grounds and some instant noodles. Quite complete needs brought by Apoy to enjoy the beauty of the waterfall from below. Likewise with Lana and Nusa who do not want to lose to Apoy, Lana and Nusa make a simple fishing net around the waterfall. When making a joran Lana had told Nusa about the article writing contest that will be held in another month .After that brief conversation and two pieces of fishing rod are ready to use, Lana sits alone on the edge of the river water while waiting for a shot from the fish. So is Nusa but not with Lia, Dinda and Apoy who are making instant noodles on the rock. Suddenly, Dinda approached Lana from behind. 

" You want to go fishing ? " said Lana offering.

Dinda nodded her head with a smile on her face. Instantly Lana gives her joran to Dinda.

" Dinda pull.." said Lana.

" long time very na, only get one more hahah" said Nusa Meledek.

" Dinda rame continues to bang, the fish so run hahaha" replied Lana pointing at Dinda.

" ihh nudu, dinda diem kok" said Dinda while elbowing Lana's waist.

Rushing Lana, Dinda and Nusa burned the fish.

" Bang kaya Bang Apoy likes Lia tuh "biss Lana on Bang Nusa.

" Yes na, the cave also already know so that the cave told the Apoy to pick up Lia hahah" answered Nusa.

" What whispers do you think Dinda's not being invited ?" said Dinda.

" Tuh the Apoy with Lia looked very tight on the rock" said Lana.

This time Lana, Dinda and Nusa laughed together, gracing Apoy and Lia who looked so close. I don't think the fish they burned is ripe. Eventually they ride on a boulder and join Apoy and Lia who have prepared instant coffee and noodles.

They also caught fish caught. After that they joked until they forgot the time.Not felt the day began in the afternoon, rushed them to walk home, not forgetting they also brought garbage used instant noodles and coffee. Upon their arrival at the bamboo house, they immediately say goodbye to the middle-aged father to return to the city.

On the way Lana sees Dinda and Lia sleeping in the car. The look on their faces indicates that today is a tiring and pleasant day. Upon arriving at Bara House, Lana wakes up Dinda and Lia to invite her home to each other. Lana and Dinda immediately say goodbye to Nusa because the day has been night. 

Lana looked from her rearview mirror at Dinda's tired face. 

" Are you happy today? " said Lana.

Dinda just nodded her head that was leaning on Lana's shoulder while hugging Lana's body tightly. Lana and Dinda arrive at the gate of Dinda's house.

" Thank you na, be careful on the road " said Dinda.

Lana nods her head with a smile and then Lana drives her motorcycle away from where Dinda is standing towards her house. At home, Lana took off her jacket behind the door of her room. Lana put her body on the warm bed.

" the cave hopes the dream of the cave, Bara and all of us materialized. "quiet inner Lana while closing her eyes.
