"Where are we going?" Krystal asked Kai as the elevator doors opened.

The two of them entered the elevator of Kai's apartment building after a few hours ago when Krystal was discharged from the hospital.

"My apartment?"

The corner of Krystal's eyes was wrinkled, confused. "Well. isn't your apartment confiscated?"

"Yes, back again."

"Can't you?"

"It's a long story, I'll tell you sometime." Reply Kai while pressing the elevator button. "You've been living in my apartment this week?"

Krystal turned quickly towards Kai. "Why?"

"Let me take care of you." Reply Kai who also looked at Krystal.

"I'm okay."

Kai cupped the side of Krystal's face. Luckily, there were only two of them in the elevator. "Have nothing."

"Kai-y"

"Fear that you are far from me." Then he sighed softly. "After a week, a week. Want huh??"

Silent, Krystal was silent trying to dive into the meaning of Kai's eyes that were fixed on her. After a few seconds, he nodded slowly then rubbed the back of Kai's hand that was on his cheek. "Yes.."

Kai smiled with relief. "Thank you."

The elevator door opened, she immediately took Krystal's hand to lead the girl out of the elevator.

"I told Luna to bring all your supplies to my apartment. Sean and Chandra are also there right now, he says he wants to welcome you home."

Krystal chuckled softly, yet could still be heard by Kai.

"Why you?"

"I'm cool now Kai's talking about me-you."

Kai cleared his throat before replying to Krystal. "Said Chandra talking to my boyfriend-you're more romantic, it's true."

"What are we dating?"

"Why didn't you know who shot me on the basketball court?"

The girl blushed. "That's.. Kai, it's you who told me to."

"Nyesel isn't?"

Krystal paused, linking her brows to pretend to think. Kai who was next to her came to a stop and his lips formed a smile looking at it.

"I know you won't be lazy." Cut Kai.

"Your pede."

"Yes dong. That's you I kiss." Ledek the guy who even got a pinch from Krystal.

"Donahi..."

With a small ring coming out of his lips, Kai pulled Krystal into his arms.

"I've told you that I love you." Whisper Kai. "You're the reason I smile, Krys. For that, don't disappear from my sight."

Krystal, who knows that her cheeks are now red, burrows her face deeper into Kai's arms. Hiding the shame that was able to make his heart beat happy.

Meanwhile, Kai tightened his arms, rubbing the back of Krystal's head gently and affectionately. Their hearts were beating at the same tempo. As if from the sound of the beat, they both understood the contents of each other's hearts.

"Kai .. I'm ashamed" Krystal said when she realized they were in the hallway. "Just hug it out later, yeah,"

The man chuckled, peeping at the top of Krystal's head. Then make a little distance to see the girl's blushing face.

"Such a machine for red." One hand raised to touch Krystal's cheek, "dear I didn't?"

Krystal bit her lip. Looking timidly at Kai who was smiling towards him. "Ngapain asked, anyway?"

With a smile that had not disappeared from his lips, Kai tilted his face to kiss Krystal's cheek. "Dear you." Low Kai whisper. Then opened the door of his apartment that was behind Krystal.

Meanwhile, the girl blushed with an insane heartbeat. This is called a simple sentence, but it has a deep meaning.

"Rendi's in jail." Said Sean sitting at the bar table inside Kai's apartment.

"Udah should have been there." Kai replied indifferently while busy making orange juice for Krystal.

Chandra stood up from her chair and approached Kai. "He's in prison for drugs, why don't you make a kidnapping report."

"And made Krystal get dragged into the same case." Kai looked at his two best friends, "I won't let him. I don't want Krystal to have to deal with that jerk again!!"

"But her punishment is too light, Kai." Sean chimed.

Sean stood up, picked up two large boxes of pizza that they had ordered to celebrate Krystal's return from the hospital. "Lo be calm, Kai. I'm the same Chandra will help you." Then take the pizzas to the living room where Krystal and Luna are sitting there.

"How does it feel to be a love slave?" Ledek Chandra who immediately got a lap throw from Kai to his face. "That's a lap, ****!"

Krystal clucked in awe at the outside view from the windowpanes on the fifteenth floor. From there, he could see the entire activities of the Capital City at night. The lights of vehicles and large buildings seen from above were indeed like stars.

Kai turned his head for a bit towards the girl, before returning to focus on his work. From earlier he was just busy in front of a laptop while designing a character for a poster.

Just that simple Kai could already see Krystal's joy back again. She always looked at things in a simple way. Similarly, the vehicle lights are visible from up there.

"The view is good." Krystal approached Kai and sat down on the sofa, while Kai was downstairs with his laptop on the table. "You're going to rarely leave the apartment, right?"

Kai distracts her from the laptop. Now he could see Krystal's eyes looking at him questioningly.

"I'm rarely in the apartment." Reply Kai.

"Loh, why?"

"Boss of course."

"Where do you usually go?" Krystal's face looked as if she was luring Kai into talking.

"Exit together with friends."

"Sean's with Chandra?" Ask Krystal again.

Highlight the eyes were straight, but it was like there was something to ask.

"What's wrong?" Kai can capture the look on Krystal's face right now. "What do you want to ask? Tell me the same."

Krystal lowered her head, hesitating to ask. But his curiosity was much higher until he managed to name one. "Sheena.."

Kai's eyes narrowed. "What do you hear?"

"Something about you guys."

Kai sighed with his gaze down, but before long his face was raised again. He stood up smiling in front of Krystal, then grabbed the girl's palm. "I want to show you something."

Krystal flinched, following Kai's steps towards a room. Entering it, Krystal was amazed to see the contents of the room. The walls are white with large windows adjacent to shelves containing oil paint and brushes, then in the corner of the room there is a wooden refractory that is commonly used by painters to refute the canvas.

Going deeper, there were several paintings stored on the sidelines of the table, and several more hung on the wall. But that's not what's his concern right now. Krystal was shocked to see that all the paintings of her hanging almost filled the walls of the room.

Krystal's head turned to look at the painting one by one. His eyes widened, twitching several times to try to recognize the owner of the face in the painting. "It's me?" Ask without taking your eyes off.

"Yes," Kai observed the girl's surprised face. "You likey?"

Krystal nodded with sparkling eyes. In her life, Krystal never expected that there would be someone who would give her happiness even to dream of being loved by someone, let alone that it was as big as what Kai gave her.

"This is arguably my escape room."

Krystal turned her head, and found Kai's eyes looking at her.

"Whenever I feel alone or lonely, painting is the only way to calm me down."

Then Kai stepped on the corner of the table, leaned back there and let Krystal satisfy herself to observe the room. "From little papa to mom always fight, I feel lonely at home. My grandfather was busy, my papa was busy, mama too." his face then lowered.

Krystal who was aware of Kai's change in expression then approached the man.

"Whenever I make a mistake, papa always beats me up. Even when he found out that I like to paint, papa ruined all my pictures. He can even be so sadistic to beat me every time I look at a painting."

Gagging, Krystal reflexively covered her mouth, she was shocked with teary eyes.

"Painting is my only escape from loneliness." Kai hissed at the end of the sentence as he said that, which actually made Krystal touch his hand. "A few times I tried to get attention by getting in the top three in class. But all for free, papa never said that he was proud of me. Mama doesn't even know if her son is ranked. It turned out, it didn't feel the same rank or feel, and from there I started to revolt. School skipping, fighting, wild racing."

Then, unknowingly, Krystal's tears fell down past her cheeks, and broke over Kai's hand which made the boy clench his face to see the face of his lover who began to cry.

Kai smiled, rubbing Krystal's cheek. "Kok cry?" his clumsiness tried to calm the atmosphere even though he was not strong enough to tell his childhood.

"Kai.." - Krystal and her sobs.

"Krys, if what you hear I'm a jerk, it's true. I play all the girls just for my own pleasure, just as an outlet, after that I'll throw them." the guy clasped Krystal's hand for strength. "and Raisa's one of those girls."

Krystal was not surprised, she even shook Kai's hand back.

"But, Krys .. Can I not change? I want to be better for you." Kai looked back into his eyes, along with his hand still tightly grasped. "You, beyond the most beautiful dreams of my life. I can't imagine if you leave my life. I've never been this scared to lose.. Krys."

Krystal feels she has had enough, there is nothing else she wants to know about Kai's past. Enough that guy wants to share it with her is better. So, he quickly grabbed Kai by the shoulder, wrapped his hand along the guy's shoulder. "I'm not going anywhere." The embrace is getting tighter. "I'm not alone anymore, now I am. I'll erase all your loneliness."

Kai's hands wrapped around Krystal's waist, slid his face at the cross of the girl's neck and inhaled the fragrance.

"We both changed, yes, I help you, you help me. Man is not born for himself, Kai. There's me, where you share grievances."

The hug came off, but it also left no distance between them.

"I don't want to see Kai sad" Krystal stroked the side of Kai's face with her thumbs. "It's so dear to you."

Still at a very close distance, Kai fused their eyebrows together. Making a breath both hit each other's faces. "Like a painting, you are the color that makes my life more beautiful. You're an imagination I can't stop."
