29 Meet the Edward Family

The warm air of the sun shining brightly illuminated the entire Earth flatly. A pair of beautiful eyes stared at the scene before him in astonishment.

The beautiful figure was stunned for quite a while before being jolted unconscious by the gentle pat on her shoulder.

"We've arrived!"

"Are you sure we're in the right place?" Candy asked once more as she looked at Edward by her side doubtfully.

Edward chuckled softly before nodding "Well, it's been quite a while since the last time I came home! This house still remains the same as the past!"

Candy snorted in annoyance at the relaxed statement coming out of Edward's lips. Obviously the man knew that that wasn't what Candy asked

After breakfast, they hurried off. Edward literally carried him flying like a broken kite.

For some reason but the man ran as fast as he could as if someone was chasing him. Candy is overwhelmed by it, and now that they have reached the Edward family home, Candy is once again overwhelmed by what her beautiful eyes have caught.

A huge wall stretched out with a golden color lit up. No, Candy felt that it was indeed gold not just looking golden.

The wall was towering and looked majestic, as if the building was not one of the old buildings, It looked luxurious and dashing.

How Candy mentions it, when compared to Edward Castle it feels like a bear looking at ants.

"I think they're waiting! We better get in!" Edward embraces Candy's soft body and leads her in when the beautiful gate opens.

A truly luxurious castle more luxurious than Edward's castle is once again seen in Candy's vision.

"Welcome back Young Master! Madam is waiting for you inside!" A Vampire waitress bowed politely towards Edward. He glanced at Candy and smiled "He is also waiting for your arrival Miss..."

Edward's forehead creased uncomfortably over the Vampire's statement before him. He waved lightly and replied "Stop that and again..."

Seeing Edward's silence just staring out at the Castle, the Vampire's servant nodded in understanding "I'll take care of Young Master..."

Edward nodded slowly and no longer cared, he brought Candy into the Castle. Candy can't even say anything even though she's confused, obediently she just lets herself be herded by Edward.

The castle inside looked more magnificent than Edward's. Candy was once again fascinated. His Amber-colored eyes shone brilliantly staring at the beauty. Edward by his side smiled gently at his wife's expression. He continued to move forward into the family hall.

"You're finally home..."

A sweet and gentle voice rang out, Candy averted her gaze and found the figure of a white haired beauty with bright red eyes.

The figure is so beautiful and beautiful, she looks dazed and charming with a simple white dress. If it wasn't for her grumpy lips Candy might have mistakenly thought that the beautiful figure was a doll.

"Cornelia.." Edward's voice was a little hoarse as he looked at the girl who was walking towards them "I..."

Bugh!!!

A small fist landed on Edward's stomach lightly, Cornelia snorted in annoyance after doing so "Welcome back home, brother!"

"Well, I'm back..." Edward groaned a little at the loss of his brother. He looked at the girl who was just speechless observing Candy and re-opened the voice of "Oh him..."

"Are you Candy?" Cornelia interrupted Edward's remark, she looked at Candy curiously and extended her hand. "I'm Cornelia, welcome to the family!"

Candy welcomes Cornelia's white hand and smiles sweetly "Thank you, I'm Candy.."

"Well, I know about you!" Cornelia nodded softly and looked back at Edward "You are the brother of a dog4n! Aren't you going to bring her here to meet the family but you're making a lot of marks on her body and shooting her like that!"

Edward's face reddened in embarrassment, he glared at Cornelia who clicked her tongue looking indifferent. On Edward's side, Candy also has a flushed face embarrassed like a boiled crab from Cornelia's speech.

"Hell up!" Cornelia turned around to go "They're waiting for you! Come hurry!"

"You stopped us yourself!" Edward grumbled angrily, he again walked after Cornelia in front of him. Candy just smiled warmly at the behavior of these two brothers.

After the three men walked for quite a while, they came to a halt at a large silver door. An ancient symbol decoration that looks complicated stretches on the side of the door. Cornelia pushed the door slowly and made it open wide.

Candy's beautiful eyes flickered lightly, she stared at the spacious room which contained only 2 people. A man and woman aged between 30 to 40. But Candy knows for sure their age is much older than that.

The woman on the left side had white hair, she looked beautiful and elegant with her lips blood red. While the man was sitting on a chair like a stopover, his long white hair waved in the air that blew.

Candy gulps her rough saliva and becomes nervous instantly as the two men's gaze reaches her.

Realizing this Edward tightens his clutches and smiles at Candy calming "Don't be nervous! I'm here!"

"Curtain, stop bragging and look cool on your wife! Come here and kneel!" The woman that Candy assumed to be Mother Edward snorted dejectedly "How dare you just show your nose after thousands of years! Are you even human?!"

"I'm a Vampire" Edward answered his mother innocently. He seemed to care less and added "Stop acting sucks and be nice, or we'll be back!"

"You... You dare!"

"Bianca, enough!" The long-haired man let out a long sigh seeing the quarrel of his son and wife. Why these two people can never get along even though they love each other.

"Welcome to the Candy family! Sorry for this unpleasant welcome! I'm Erlando, Edward's father. You don't have to call me dad and be able to call my name like Edward did! It's the same for the woman there, she's Bianca!" Erlando blinked disappeared and appeared before Candy.

Candy gasped a little in shock and took a step back a little "My name is Candy Jovanka, I'm sorry for just visiting and greeting you!"

"There's no need to do this, right?"

"Well, you're still the same, very protective of what you love!" Erlando let out a crisp laugh, he stared at the slowly approaching Bianca.

"Little girl! Get pregnant quickly and give me a grandchild!"

Candy's face flushed listening to Bianca's meaningfully smiling words to her.

"What other empty tooth are you spouting?" Edward again makes a rough voice to his mother, he snorts and tries to protect Candy behind him.

"Tsk, aren't you too fierce?! He'll bleed out if you keep doing that!" Bianca sneered lightly at Edward and made her son's face appear twisted ugly.

"Okay, enough of you!" Erlando once again rebuked them and affirmed "Candy why don't you rest for a while! We'll make a welcome for you after nightfall. For now let us talk for a while and you go get some rest!"

Candy nodded obediently, she stared at Edward for a moment who kissed her cheek and whispered softly "I'll see you soon!"

"Erlando and Bianca, I'll see you later. Thanks for the welcome!" Candy felt a little sour as she called the two people by their names, he was always raised with good etiquette towards older people and never called them in person so this made him a little uncomfortable.

"Arthur take him to the place he's prepared for!"

"Good!" Arthur suddenly appears and takes Candy away.

Edward fell silent and looked at Candy's missing back with Arthur before opening the "Vampire's voice... Why do I feel she has a special feeling for Candy?"

Bianca smiled and replied Edward "We'll have a lot to talk about but first, Ed. What are you going to do?! The person chasing you has arrived before our gates!"

"You know you can't keep fighting them! Such a great battle would destroy everything!" Orlando added

"Then what should I do? Hand over Candy?" Edward shouted furiously he looked at Erlando who was looking at him gently. "If you're willing to help maybe things won't get too complicated!"

"Isn't this the second time?!" Erlando murmured softly as he began to recall old memories of "It was when you were sick that you also asked the family for help. It was the first time, and now the second time."

Edward was speechless at Erlando's remark, that's right! Edward never asked for help or anything that troubled his family. He is a self-contained genius man who does anything by himself with his abilities. It was only when he was sick that he asked his family for help, and now he is doing it again..

"I'm sorry for the recent visit and I'm sorry for all the things I said in the past." Edward's face seemed a little hurt as he recalled their past quarrels.

Erlando shook his head slowly seeing his son had changed a lot by boldly apologizing, he patted Edward's shoulder slowly "We're your family! It's okay to have a family quarrel once in a while!"

"Let us help you our way this time Ed, all you need to do is believe!" Bianca spoke softly, she also touched Edward's back which was a field of affection.

"That's right! Let us solve all of this our way! That way you can survive and live happily!"

Edward was silent and looked at his parents. He knew that they loved him, only sometimes the way they used was too deviant and different from Edward's. But if it can keep Candy safe and stay by Edward's side then he'll relinquish this time.

Seeing Edward's silence, Orlando knew that his son slightly agreed with them. He re-opened his voice and called out to the person who had been silent since the beginning "Cornelia, say it!"

Cornelia nodded her head and looked at Edward who was staring back at her, she smiled before opening her voice "There will be a daughter born among you..."

Edward's body went silent, and he looked at Cornelia with a look of surprise and hope in his eyes. If what he said was true, then something he dreamed of might happen.

"Continue!" Edward asked Cornelia with a serious face.

The four people inside the room continued their conversation, looking for the best solution to avoid the worst possible.

Elsewhere in the castle, Candy's figure walked slowly following the middle-aged Vampire before her. The two of them simply fell silent and did not say anything letting the sound of the wind blowing through sound at his every step.

"Is Miss living happily with a Vampire?" The silence broke as Arthur opened his lips.

Candy was stunned for a moment before replying firmly "I'm happy, because I love her and she loves me! There is nothing happier than that in this world for me!"

"Thank God..."

Hearing the Vampire before him sigh in gratitude, Candy frowned in confusion. He doesn't understand why but Candy somehow feels a familiar feeling with the Vampire.

Candy felt the warmth she felt when she was close to her mother, a feeling of comfort and safety like a family.

"We've arrived!"

Candy realized at the man's words, she stared at a luxurious door that was tightly closed in front of her.

Arthur smiled softly and opened the door before again saying "This is the room of Young Master Edward since childhood! We always clean it up even if he never comes home. I hope Miss can rest in peace!"

Candy's chest thumped fiercely staring at the face of the Vampire before her who was smiling gently. She felt that smile was similar to her mother. Candy shook her head slowly putting away her unlikely thought of "Thank you"

"Sure, if there's anything you need don't hesitate to ask for it!" Arthur replied sincerely before bowing and walking away leaving the pecking Candy staring at him.

The girl remained silent on the doorstep for some time before entering the room. He looked at the entire room with his warm heart. Edward grew up in this place, and it made Candy wonder what she looked like as a child.

Candy doesn't ask Edward much about her or about the reasons for the Castle attack. She knows something has happened, but Candy tries to stay quiet and wait for Edward to explain to her.
