White mist is seen when dew drips in the wet foliage. Light rain appears soft when it falls on the ground.
A pair of sapphire blue eyes stared around the place with a slight annoyance. He pursed his lips that looked bright red and muttered to himself "This damn rain just makes me dirty! My shoes look ugly now. Really shit!"
He rubbed his pretty dirty red shoes from the rain drops in annoyance before stepping his feet back.
Looking far ahead, the girl clicked her tongue irritated "Edward too much! Did he have to seal the entire forest?! I had to rotate in all directions to avoid many traps! That damned man, I'll eat him if he shows up!"
Continuing to babble and not stop, the girl stepped closer and closer towards the castle Edward was in. The moment he had reached before the large gate of his entrance, he flicked his finger and made the sturdy Gate tremble small.
"Miss, you can't make trouble anymore can you?" Alfred's voice rang out as he appeared before the woman with a slight polite bow.
"I told you I'd be back to visit! Now open this ugly gate and call me that lowly man!"
"Miss Austina that..."
"I won't eat it, nor will I fry it! I just want to talk! Now, open this ugly gate and lead me to meet that lowly human!" Austina snapped angrily when she saw Alfred who looked doubtful. His voice echoed in silence.
"Let him in!" Aunt Jane answered Alfed's doubts. The old man nodded lightly and opened the gate that had been sealed with magic.
"Please don't make a fuss just because Young Master isn't in place?! If that happens we will not hesitate" Aunt Jane again voiced as she looked at Austina who was now in front of her.
The woman did not answer her words and only gave a rude snort before following Aunt Jane behind her.
Looking at the spacious Hall back after a while of not seeing it, Austina sighed softly filled with regret.
He sat down in one of the seats without waiting for Aunt Jane to say, "Why don't you guys get me a drink? Blood, you must have it, I want a full bottle, a whole bottle of wine! And call the Abominable Man to see me as soon as possible!"
The frown on Aunt Jane's forehead multiplied as the corner of her eyes looked at the girl with a twitch. He sighed and spoke with his gritted teeth "Then, please wait quietly in this place for a while..."
Not long after Aunt Jane's departure a female Vampire waitress brought a drink in a bottle that looked like red wine.
Austina lightly patted and sipped a drink in the glass as her mood got better. He waited quietly for a while until the figure of the girl he wanted to meet appeared.
"We've finally met!"
Candy's body stiffened as she stared at Austina's graceful figure sitting down with a drink in her hand.
Candy has just been able to get out of bed after resting for 2 days. He became more used to his pain and healed faster than the first time they did.
He never expected that Austina would come back to visit and see him. And the thing that made her even more surprised was, Aunt Jane did not ban her and instead let her talk to Austina. Of course on the condition that Aunt Jane should remain by his side at that point.
"This old man is like a parasite! He won't even leave you alone inside the castle!" Austina scoffed harshly when she saw the figure of Aunt Jane standing right next to Candy sitting down "Just forget it, I don't care...."
Austina waved her hand indifferently no longer caring. He turned his gaze at the seated Candy and frowned.
Austina's sapphire blue eyes turned blood red instantly as her gaze became piercing and glared towards Candy.
"Miss, don't act rashly!" Aunt Jane's voice was cold as she became alert upon seeing Austina's eye change.
Listening to this, the frown on Austina's forehead became even deeper. He let out a long sigh and calmed himself down as his eyes began to appear normal.
"You slept together?!" His voice was heavy as the sentence came out from his red lips.
Candy's face twisted ugly, she didn't know what to answer. After all how could this girl before him know? Did he just guess and bully her?
"I saw the bite marks on your neck, so deep and so much! So, did you guys sleep together?" Once again Austina asked when her tone sounded heavier.
Candy was speechless listening to this, her fingers covering her exposed neck with a hint of embarrassment.
"They slept together!" Seeing Candy's silence, Aunt Jane replied instead.
"He's not tempted and stupid! Edward just tried to open his heart again. And I will make sure that his decision is not wrong and stupid!" Candy finally opens her voice when she doesn't like Austina's attitude.
"So he's not stupid?" Austina's tone of voice scoffed as she looked at the angry-looking Candy "Then you're the fool!"
Candy's pretty face sank instantly as she realized the girl before her was more terrifying than she thought.
"Well let's forget about the fools here! In the end we are all fools!" Austina let out a long sigh, she stared blankly at the glass in her hand before returning to speak "Have you heard of the Fairy Tale of Love between Vampires and Humans?"
Getting the silence from Candy, Austina's face lifted from the empty glass to look at her. He smiled sinisterly when he realized the girl before him knew about the story.
"That's the story of me and Edward!"
Candy's face became stiff as her heart pounded fiercely with piercing pain.
"Now tell me! Are you going to end up like me?" Austina spoke again when she saw Candy's slightly deteriorating look on her face.
Candy's amber-colored eyes flickered lightly as she stared straight at Austina's sapphire-blue colored eyes. A flash of pain and loneliness seeped in Austina's beautiful eyes.
Candy smiled faintly as she said "I will never end up like you! It will never!"
"..." Austina's eyes quivered as she looked at the confidence in Candy's gaze, she gulped down her rough saliva before returning to say "Don't be too sure just because it hasn't happened yet! And again, are you going to stay by Edward's side with your human figure? You'll be wrinkled, die alone, Edward'll forget you and find someone else!"
Listening to this, Candy's heart beats hard with anxiety. She knows it will happen in the future, but Candy doesn't like to hear this from the girl in front of her!
Even if it all happens later, then what? Candy will still be on her decision! He will always be the Man who loved Edward and abandoned him by remaining the Man who continued to love him.
If later after his death Edward finds someone else to love, then Candy will be happy. That means Edward will no longer be lonely and alone. There will be someone else with him in his place.
"If that happens, then... Isn't that nice? Edward could continue to live without loneliness.." Candy's amber-colored eyes shone with sincerity as the sentence came out of her lips.
Austina was stunned for a moment with an answer she never expected. The girl fell silent for quite a while as she began to recall her memories with Edward.
Looking back on the past, Austina's heart ached. He loved the man but never really thought about his feelings. All Austina thought about was her being so selfish and greedy.
Edward sincerely loved her and never expected anything, but Austina was so evil that she hurt her feelings so badly.
A single tear fell from Austina's eyelid. He looked at the girl before him and felt such a bad sense of inferiority. If only he had been as brave and determined as the girl was, maybe now he and Edward would not have ended up getting hurt.
Seeing Candy's surprised look because of her crying. Austina wiped away the tears that fell on her cheek before saying "There's dust coming into my eye!"
"..." - ".Candy is speechless listening to Austina's absurd reasoning before she replies "I won't give Edward even if you cry and try to change your past!"
Listening to Candy's reply that she didn't expect, Austina chuckled "Is that so? Then you need to try your hardest to lure Edward in. Compared to me you are just a ugly duckling who only has Human Blood as your charm!"
Candy gritted her teeth rough. He was well aware of what Austina meant. This time Edward may have been devastated and indulged in his wishes simply because he was his food. Edward would not even be affected by her ugly face, Austina was much prettier than any woman!
"I know that, but still I won't lose!"
"Then good luck!" Austina said indifferently, she got up from where she sat "Don't be so stupid next time, if you do, maybe Edward will be much more hurt than when I changed myself!"
He stepped up to leave the castle as his steps halted for a moment and gazed back at Candy "Hitless Man! You better keep yourself from getting hurt or killed for trivialities! If that happens, Edward will go crazy! And for the old grandma there... Do your job even better!"
After the sentence came out, Austina's figure completely vanished as if carried away by a gust of wind.
Candy snorts annoyedly at the selfish girl who only comes and goes as she pleases after saying whatever she wants. He continued to sit and grumbled indistinctly.
Aunt Jane was silent in her place, she stared at Austina's departure with a hint of sympathy in her eyes. With a small sigh he turned his gaze to the seated figure of Candy.
He had never expected the always rash and foolish Candy to have such an incredible heart. His choice to support the girl by his Young Master's side was the Best choice he had ever made.
