Not caring about James's ravings, Edward stayed on what he was doing.

Little by little the liquid began to coalesce in the test tube. Edward let out a long sigh before he started dripping the last liquid and reopened the sound of "James, have you drawn the diagram?"

"I've drawn him around the furnace! The diagram was drawn with the blood of a black chicken as it was written in the book!"

Edward nodded in understanding response. He placed the dark orange liquid-colored bottle on top of the steady furnace.

"Well, light the fire!"

"But are you sure you're gonna do this?" James hesitated a little as he again asked "Isn't the spell in the book we're going to say that is a blood contract spell with the devil?"

"It was indeed a blood contract spell with a demon!" Edward nodded, he sighed before explaining back "Didn't I already explain that I made the spell only effective as a contract of immortality like regeneration, not a strange thing like strength or wealth!"

"I heard that, but will everything be okay? What if a Demon King appears in the summoning?"

"Let's try!" Edward pulled out a syringe and took a few drops of the liquid to inject into the mice.

"I think we should wait!" James let out a long sigh when no reaction was received.

With a sigh, Edward nodded. They returned to the dugout and waited for the result calmly.

Days pass, as the season turns from cold to warm. It was as if the changing seasons were calming before the storm.

The mice became as healthy as a miracle. The fragile and sick little mice instantly became so active and cheerful.

Not seeing any wrong reaction, Edward decided to drink the Liquid he named 'Red Blood' in a gulp.
