Damar was focused on listening to one of his employees convey the idea of building a large project in a meeting, suddenly his phone shook, but he ignored it. But the flat object continued to vibrate, making Damar upset himself.

As soon as the meeting was over, he immediately pulled his phone out of his pocket and gasped when he found out that from earlier the one who called was the mother.

"Did Mom call me over and over?" inner Damar wondered, he hurriedly contacted back.

"Hello, Ma," said Damar as his phone was connected to Lusi.

"What are you doing, anyway? My phone was hard!"

"I was in a meeting, Ma. What's the matter, Mama called? Is there a problem?" asked Damar curiously, he was a little worried that his mother would find out about Sera.

"Mama just wanted to say, you'll be home soon, yeah. Mama wants to take you away."

"Where, Ma?"

"Today Aunt Elin came to Jakarta, Mama wants you to meet her, all discuss your relationship with Sarah."

Damar frowned, "What does Mama mean?"

"Mom has decided to continue your matchmaking with Sarah, Mama wants you to get married soon."

Damar was stunned and immediately ignited emotions, "Mama what the hell, anyway? Why decide all this without talking to me?"

Riko who happened to still be near Damar just silently listened to his superior speak in a high tone, he could guess something must have happened.

"Damar, we've talked about this before. Mama gave you the opportunity to choose your own future wife, but in fact you just mess around. So inevitably, Mama has to force you."

"Ma, but I don't love Sarah. Please don't force me!" damar said expectantly.

"Then marry the woman you love!"

Damar was silent at the mother's request.

"Why silence? You don't want to marry Sera, do you?"

"Mama knows we don't want to get married yet" Damar argued with his stubbornness.

"Your room, almost twenty years you are wasting your time with obscure women, while your age is growing. You're not a teenager anymore, you're an adult and well-established, so what else are you afraid of?"

"Ma, stop this!" Damar.

"Mama doesn't want to know, anyway you quickly go home and accompany Mama to meet Aunt Elin!"

Lusi hung up the phone before Damar could say anything more.

Riko was surprised to see it, he carefully asked his superior, "You why? Is there a problem, sir?"

Damar exhaled heavily, "Mama forced me to marry Sarah, and today she invited me to meet the woman's parents."

"Well, but didn't you manage to get that woman to reject this match? Why change again?"

Damar finally told everything to Riko, making his subordinates surprised.

"Why is this so?" Riko was confused.

"It's all because of your crazy idea, it's all messed up!" rutu Damar's.

"Well, why are you blaming me now, sir?" riko's protest was not accepted.

"Yes, lah. If I didn't follow your idea, Mama wouldn't have come back to Jakarta and met Sera as my lover. The problem won't be this complicated."

"But my idea worked, sir," Riko replied.

"Yes, but the consequences are getting worse too! Now Mama's intervening to match me and Sarah." Damar massaged his head which began to throb from thinking about this.

"You can refuse, sir."

"It's not that easy, Riko! He would be furious if I continued to oppose him, I was afraid that his illness would recur and if I managed to refuse an arranged marriage with Sarah, he would definitely match me with other women of his choice again. I can stress, Ko!" damar's fight was frustrating.

"Why don't you just get married?" said Riko lightly.

Damar immediately glanced at his subordinate, "You already know the reason why, why do you still ask?"

Riko was silent, he certainly knew the reason Damar had been widowed. But suddenly an idea came back to his head.

"What if you and Sera pretend to agree to your mother's request to get married" Riko said.

Damar was dumbfounded and immediately shook his head, "No! I don't want to!"

"That's the only way your mama's gonna stop setting you up with Sarah, sir. It's just pretend, not real!"

"Yes, but I'm afraid of causing new problems, Ko."

"Sir, your mama will soon return to Italy, she will not take care of you here, so there will be no problem. The most important thing now is that your matchmaking and Sarah is off first, then you think about the reason you and Sera separated" explained Riko.

Damar was stunned to think about the idea conveyed by Riko, he was still weighing what decision he would take.
