After dinner, Lusi invited Damar and Sera to sit in the living room. He wanted to chat and find out how far the two people had come.
"Are you serious about this relationship?" ask Lusi without further ado.
"Seriously, Ma," Damar replied quickly, Sera turned her head towards the man.
"Why then don't you just get married? So Sera can stay here and not be alone anymore in the apartment" said Lusi.
Damar and Sera were astonished, both of them glanced at each other while gulping, but Damar hurriedly decided his gaze and refuted Lusi's idea.
"Ma, Sera is still young, she also just wanted to go to college. So it's too soon if we get married now."
"Why indeed? Lots of young women who are married but still in college, it doesn't matter."
"Yes, but this is too soon. Mama knows how my past is, I'm afraid it will happen again if I decide to rush to get married" Damar continued, while Sera only fell silent, she did not dare to open her voice.
"Mama sure Sera is not like your ex-wife, she can certainly make you happy," said Lusi sure.
Damar frowned, "Why can Mama be so sure? Don't you know what she looks like?"
"That's it, but Mama loved it from the first time she met. Mama believes she's a good girl."
Damar was stunned, deep in his heart he also admitted that Sera was a good girl, but the problem was that she did not want to marry especially with Sera.
While Sera herself still remained unmoved, a blushing face heard Lusi's praise.
Lusi then turned to look at Sera. "Darling, you want to marry Damar?"
Sera suddenly tensed up at the middle-aged woman's question, she wanted to glance at Damar who was sitting beside her for help, but did not dare as Lusi continued to stare at her intensely.
"Hem, .. a-I ...." Sera stuttered instantly.
"Ma, don't make Sera feel uncomfortable!" sela Damar who wants to distract Lusi and save Sera from this stressful situation.
"Mama just asked!" suhut Lusi ketus's.
"But, Ma ...."
Sera repeatedly gulped, she was really nervous and confused as to what to answer.
Damar was still trying to divert the mood, "Ma, come on!"
"Broom, quiet!" lusi snapped, making his son instantly flinch.
"Let's answer, Sera!" urged Lusi who was still staring at Sera expectantly, making the girl even more cold sweat.
"Hem, ma-sorry, Aunt. I-I don't want to get married, I still want to go to college," replied Sera with trembling lips, she resigned that Lusi would be angry because of that answer.
Damar was also worried about the reaction of his mother.
Susi was disappointed with Sera's answer, her old face immediately turned sad, "Alright, if you don't want to get married. But don't blame Auntie if later Aunt mating Damar with another woman, because Aunty wants her to get married soon, not just a boyfriend-girlfriend alone."
"Mama!" reprimand Damar gave a warning.
"Damar, you've aged a lot, you're not ABG's son anymore. Mama and Papa want to see you get married and then live happily, so we can die peacefully," Susu murmured with teary eyes, making Sera even more unpleasant.
"Tante, I'm sorry, yes," said Sera melas.
"That's it, Auntie thinks everything is clear. Good night." Lusi moved on and passed away leaving the two in the living room.
Damar exhaled heavily while leaning his head against the back of the sofa, seeing that, Sera felt guilty.
"I'm sorry, yeah, Om. Because of me, Mama Om became angry," Sera regretted.
"You're not wrong, Mama is like that if her wishes are opposed, she'll sulk and get angry."
"So what now?" ask Sera
"Have let it go, Mama will be good again," Damar replied and then straightened his body, "now Om inter-island, yuk!"
Sera nodded in agreement, the two of them immediately left the house.
