10. Enchanted
Karina came out of the apartment wearing a simple knee-length dress in light blue. Equipped with white shoes and a sling bag. Her appearance managed to emit more and more aura of her beauty to make Kenan almost could not take his eyes off the girl.
His decision to buy her new clothes is the best decision of the year. If only he was a man who easily fell in love, he would definitely fall in love with Karina right now.
Kenan cleared his throat to relieve his awkwardness and walked first to the car. Every now and then she glanced at Karina's pretty face framed by her jet-black wavy hair. Kenan only realized that Karina has perfect facial features. His eyes are not narrow but also not too round, his nose is slightly pointed but tiny and his lips thin but impressed full.
“till.”
Say Kenan to neutralize his nervousness. He got out of the car and was followed by Karina. They went inside together like never before. The man who had always walked ahead of Karina now waited and walked side by side with the girl.
“good morning sir, ma'am, please pass here.”
A waiter politely greeted Kenan and Karina took the two of them to the VIP room. Karina was taken into the dressing room to try on the wedding dress that had been prepared. While Kenan waited on the sofa while reading the available magazines. He does not need to take measurements because there is a special suit from the father.
Finally the curtain opened featuring Karina who stood awkwardly with a dress wrapped in her slender body. Kenan glued to the girl for a while before finally just nodding without saying anything. There were no words that could describe the beauty in front of him.
Karina tried on a few dresses and all of them managed to make Kenan dazed. She was always fascinated by any dress worn by Karina. After finishing trying and choosing a dress, they measured Karina's body to improve the size of the dress ordered.
“after this directly meet WO?” karina asked Kenan after they left the store.
“lunch first, meet WO later at three in the afternoon.”
“good.”
The two of them entered into a luxurious restaurant that Karina had never been able to feel before. The romantic and luxurious atmosphere immediately spoiled Karina's eyes. They choose to sit near a window that is directly connected to the beautiful view of the flower garden.
There's not much for the two of them to talk about. Both are only focused on enjoying the food served and occasionally discuss about the wedding that will be held soon.
“by the way for his invitation you sure there is nothing more than for your sister?”
“i have no friends, only my sister I can invite.”
“after this there is a place you want to visit?”
“weren't we going to WO?”
“still no time one hour.”
Karina silently thought of the place she wanted to visit. Her memory revolves around old memories of when she was a child. Many children go to amusement rides with their parents, but Karina and Devano can only be envious after hearing stories from other children.
“there is one place I really want to visit, at least once before dying.” He muttered but could still be heard clearly by Kenan.
Kenan drove Karina to where the girl was referring to. Karina's face implied a sadness at seeing many children laughing with their families.
“ada rides you want to try?”
Karina shook her head then walked into the ride area. He looked in amazement at every vehicle that was operating. There was a sound of happy screams and fear from those who boarded the rides that were there. Karina continued to move her legs and sat on a long bench when she felt her legs ache.
“you seriously don't want to ride any rides?”
“iya.”
“then why are we here?”
“then take a ride to satisfy the little boy inside you.”
“I feel bad if I have to enjoy it alone without my sister.” He said and stood up and walked away.
His footsteps stopped in front of an ice cream vendor.
“you want?”
Karina nodded in response to Kenan. Kenan smiled slightly as there was finally something the girl asked of him.
Karina looked at the ice cream in her hand and started to bribe it into her mouth. The sweet and cold taste melted inside the mouth made his mood rise.
“I once worked in the market helping traders then the rest of the money collected I bought ice cream for my sister.” Karina said while looking at the ice cream in her hand.
“can't you report them to the police for making minors work?”
“though I can but I do not want to do it, after all my uncle and aunt is the house where I go home after my parents are not there.”
“then now I am your home?”
The two of them looked at each other with a difficult look. Karina smiled then turned her eyes and put ice cream back in her mouth.
“maybe, in the future. No one knows what our future will be like.”
The two of them finally left for their next destination. Kenan brought Karina in because he wanted to let the girl choose for herself what kind of wedding concept she wanted. Although this marriage was only a one-year contract, but his conscience still felt guilty for snatching the once-in-a-lifetime dream from the girl.
“select as you wish.”
“my wishes?”
“iya.”
“I don't even know what I want.” He muttered as he opened every page of paper he had in his hand.
His eyes were fixed on a simple yet elegant decoration on the beach. Kenan realized where Karina's eyes were looking and smiled and pointed at the picture.
“we take this one, for further discussion you can contact my future wife.”
“good sir.”
“ayo home.”
“iya.”
It did not feel like the wedding day they were waiting for finally arrived as well. During the preparation, Kenan sees many new sides of Karina that he did not know before. In addition to being hardworking and reliable, Karina is cheerful and talkative. He is also kind and friendly to everyone.
On the day of his wedding, there was a thought in Kenan's head as he was making the holy promise of marriage. If in this world only Karina is left as the only woman, she can still marry him making him a real life companion.
Kenan kissed Karina's lips in front of all the invited guests present. The two couples look like life-long mates to the guests. Everyone could feel the sincere love of the two making them smile happily then clap their hands festively.
Kenan took off his kiss while continuing to stare fixedly at Karina. The faces of both of them were slightly flushed due to the brief intimacy that had just occurred. Meanwhile, Devano and Kenan's parents can breathe their sigh of relief when they see the two are so in love with each other. Their worries seemed to be just something in vain.
