This morning Dean's head hurt a little when he woke up. He could not sleep last night, thinking about what was going on in his life.
Finally, after the evening prayer, and give everything to Allah. Dean could sleep. That was when dawn came.
After taking a bath, Dean did not forget to perform his late Dawn prayers. Then he gets ready to go to the office. But before that there is something to be done first.
Perhaps, only a few people in this world can sincerely accept and forgive, all their shortcomings and mistakes, loved ones. And maybe Dean was one of them.
If someone else was in Dean's position, maybe they would have chosen to leave Milly. But look, at this time Dean with all his kindness, came to visit Milly to the Hospital.
Tok .. tok .
The door was opened by Wati.
"Mas Dean .. please come in, Mas" said Wati.
"Allenalamaic."
"Waalaikum salam." Milly and Wati answered. Milly's mother was still lying on the other bed.
Dean walked up to Milly, unable to describe how happy Milly was when Dean arrived. Even so, Milly still felt awkward with Dean.
"Hi, Mil, how are you?"
"It's better than yesterday."
"What is your mother's condition?" ask Dean again.
Milly and Dean both look to Milly's mother's place.
"Mom's not okay. His condition is very weak, until now only mother has not been awake. Because mom had a bump in a pretty strong kapala."
Dean saw Milly wipe away her tears. It is very visible if Milly is very sad about the condition of her mother.
"You're patient, yes, Mil. May you heal soon."
"Amelina. Make a point, Dean."
"Don't thank me anymore" Dean said with a smile.
Dean didn't know it, Milly thanked him for a lot of things. But Milly couldn't say it.
"You want a walk out?" ask Dean about Milly.
"Mmmm"
"Inhaling fresh air, let you be fresher" Dean continued.
"Wait a minute." Milly did not answer. Dean went out and told him to wait a little. Milly thought maybe Dean would go outside on the phone.
Not long after Dean came in again, it turned out he went to take a wheelchair. Milly frowned in surprise. Why would Dean bring a wheelchair here?
Dean came to Milly's bed.
"What's that doing?" Ask Milly.
"Let's go down, let me help you" Dean said, without answering Milly's question.
Milly hesitates to get down, then Dean helps her down by holding Milly's hand. Then he directed Milly to sit in a wheelchair.
"I can still walk, why use a wheelchair" Milly protested.
Regardless of Milly's protest, Dean immediately pushed her out. After first saying goodbye to Wati who takes care of Milly's mother.
Dean pushed Milly down the Hospital hallway into the back garden. The people who saw them, maybe they thought Dean was pushing his sick wife.
Dean stopped his steps at the park located next to the Hospital. There are chairs to sit in. Dean picked a chair a bit away from the people who happened to be sitting there too.
Dean helps Milly sit in the park chair. Dean sat down next to him. Milly felt stubbornly sitting near Dean, even though they were still sitting apart.
"Will you eat or drink something? let me buy it."
"No, I ate there" Milly said.
"From now on, you need to eat more."
Milly turned to Dean for a moment, feeling strange about Dean's statement.
"Why?" Ask Milly.
Dean replied still casually. Milly was not satisfied with Dean's answer.
Milly then chose to be quiet.
Dean looked the same, then Dean twisted his body a little, he noticed Milly. Milly was uncomfortable with Dean's view.
"What's wrong?" ask Milly.
"Is there anything you want to say?"
"No, why?"
"It's okay, if you want to say something, I'm ready to hear it, whatever it is," Dean tried to lure Milly into telling her the circumstances.
Dean really hoped Milly would be honest, and that would reinforce what decision Dean would make next.
Milly was getting confused. She's more convinced that Dean has found out about her pregnancy. But he did not dare to say it.
"Mil, don't you know that I've loved you since we were in school. Even to this day, the taste is still the same. I even told you directly. I promised to protect you. But look, what's going on right now, with you and your mom? I don't want to fail again, for that I want to marry you, so I can always take care of you."
Milly was surprised to find out, Milly was relieved that Dean knew about her pregnancy.
"Sorry Dean, I can't." Milly doesn't want to make Dean hope for her anymore.
"Why? give reasons. So I don't get curious."
"Aren't you going to marry Vallen."
"No, who said that?"
Milly also told when Vallen met him.
"No, it's just Vallen's wits." Dean also told about his mother's pain so he agreed to it.
"Wouldn't it be better to marry the man your mother blessed."
"Don't turn to others, I want to know your reasons" Dean said.
"I really can't, Dean."
"Do you still hate me like you used to?"
"No, that's not true."
Milly answered Dean's question quickly.
"Then, what? Don't you love me?"
This time Milly was unable to answer. In his heart, to be honest the love had started to grow, as Dean often paid attention to him.
But he could not say it, given his current status and condition.
To say no, his tongue seemed frozen.
"Why not answer? Yes or no. Give me one reason. Or do you love someone else?"
Milly began to struggle with her tears. It's very difficult for him.
"I'm going to the room, I want to see the condition of mom," Milly said.
"Is it so hard to be honest? Isn't the Milly I've known for a long time always telling the truth. Has it changed now?" Dean strapped Milly to the question.
Milly could no longer hold back her tears. Her tears just slipped through her cheeks.
Dean couldn't bear to see that, but he also wanted Milly to be honest with him.
"Mil, don't be like this. Just tell me, I'll really appreciate your honesty." this time Dean shifted his seat closer to Milly.
He took a handkerchief out of his pants pocket. Then wipe away Milly's tears. Instead of stopping, Dean's treatment like that made his tears more flowing.
Dean stopped his hand, just as he wiped Milly's tears away. He looked at that beautiful face.
"Are you married? Is it because there's a baby in your belly now?"
Milly gasped to listen to Dean's words, even though Dean said in a low voice, but it was very piercing into Milly's heart.
