chapter 4. POV Bu Vania

My name is Vania Nadira. I am the owner and company leader in Cosmetics. This business has been running since I was in college. It started with the capital of Adrian mas which was then my girlfriend. Mas Adrian is the only son of a successful business couple in the city.

I love her so much. He is the same, he loves me very much. She said I was a very beautiful woman and also smart. I am an independent woman and a hard worker. If I want something, I'll try to get it.

Adrian and I have been dating since High School. After graduating, we went to the same university. After college we planned to get married. And we're going to grow my cosmetics business together.

Adrian and I aspire to build a large cosmetics company and have branches in many other cities.

The wedding day I dreamed of arrived. Our wedding was done in a big way. All wedding expenses are borne by the family of Adrian mas. Many colleagues papa business colleagues and mama mas Adrian invited. Our college friends were also very present. Not to mention his other acquaintances.

Even though my wedding was not attended by Papa. Because I don't know where papa is. Papa left after my mother found out that papa was married again and already had a child from his young wife. It doesn't diminish my happiness. I hate papa and already consider papa dead.

We have been married for a week. Today we just got to my in-laws house. We just got back from our honeymoon in Bali. Papa and mama-in-law said that they would go abroad to take care of the company and settle there. He told us to stay in this big house. Adrian will take care of the company here.

Two years on, we haven't had a baby yet. Papa and mama mas Adrian always ask when we will give her a grandchild. We have done various kinds of treatment. Lastly we did a tube baby program and it turned out to be successful.

I finally felt her name get pregnant. All the families were happy to hear the news.

But happiness is only for a moment. At the age of three months of pregnancy, my friend gave a surprise party, in the garden behind our house.My friend closed my eyes and led me to step towards the back garden. But fateful, while on the stairs, I accidentally stepped on my friend's dress that walked in front.

He fell and I was attracted by him. We fell down the stairs. And to make matters worse, my stomach hit my mother-in-law's large ceramic flower vase. I miscarried and fatally her uterus had to be removed. I can't get pregnant anymore.

I was so devastated that Adrian. The child we were waiting for is gone. And the harsh reality, until at any time I would not be able to present a child from my own womb. Mama and papa-in-law only knew I was miscarrying, not in fact.

My suffering increased when my mother-in-law always demanded that I get pregnant again. How could I ever get pregnant again, if my womb wasn't there. I didn't want to tell my mom and dad-in-law because he was afraid that he would have Adrian divorce me.

Adrian once told my mother, if we want to adopt a child. But my in-laws insisted on opposing and saying if they wanted his son that in him flowed the blood of mass Adrian.

That night Adrian received a call from his mother-in-law. It turns out that mama had Adrian married again and mama had already found a candidate for her. That is the son of a friend of the mother who is now also settled abroad.

What I was afraid of all this time happened too. Mas adrian opposed her and said she would never marry again. After a long debate, my mother-in-law finally gave me a choice. Mama will come home from abroad in two years, if in two years I have not been pregnant as well, then mama will go home to bring a future wife for Adrian mas.

They will get married, and no one can argue. If I don't want to, then I have to go.

I'm devastated, I don't want to be like my mom. I can't give up. I have to find a way out.

Until I finally decided to find a woman to conceive a child from Adrian mas. After that we will take care of the child and reward his mother. They don't need to get married. I'll control them, hopefully once in a relationship can get pregnant right away.

Adrian no longer needs to meet the woman. So it is not possible that Adrian mas will be targeted with him.

Sounds crazy really. But I really don't want to lose what's already mine. Adrian was furious when I said my idea.

Now the problem is who the woman will want. I also don't want to just choose. Afraid that he might betray and tease Adrian. Then he told me to leave me. I also don't want to choose.

I want my son to be born to a beautiful and smart woman. So that the child born is also beautiful and smart. I don't want people to be suspicious, I'm beautiful and Adrian is dashing, but his son is ordinary.

A month of searching, but nothing matched what I wanted.

Until one morning.

The door to my office works at someone's knock.

"Come in"

"Please sit down Mil, can I help you?" I started questioning him.

"Sorry Mom, if I may borrow some more money, ma'am."

"But your loan was not paid off, Mil. And the rest is still a lot. So it's like she can't."

"I beg you, ma'am, I need it very much."

He said as he rubbed the side of his eyes that were already watery.

"How much do you really need?"

"150 million, ma'am."

I was surprised to hear the number. I asked what the money was for. He told her all while occasionally rubbing his eyes.

"That's a lot, Milly. I can't, afraid later other employees know and follow like you. If I don't give, I think I'll give."

"I don't know who else to ask for help, Mom," she cried.

I'm sorry to see it but it's impossible to also lend that much money to her. Suddenly it came to my mind to make her a mother who would conceive a child from the Adrian mas.

"I can't lend you that much money, Mil. But I have a choice for you. I will give you that kind of money without having to replace it. In return, you want to conceive a child from my husband.

After the child is born you have to give it to me. My husband and I will be his parents. No one can know."

"I mean ma'am."

"As I said earlier, you are pregnant with my husband's child and after the child is born you must give it to me. I will arrange all of them. You just do what I command. Hopefully, with a single connection, you can get pregnant. So you don't have to be in touch with my husband anymore. I will take care of and bear your life, as long as you are pregnant until the child is born. Including your mother I will bear it. You can also be free from debt. After the child is born, I will be free from your responsibilities."

Silence, that's all that happened. I know Milly must be in shock at my request. But my heart is sure she will, because she needs that money so much. Two more days the debt collector will come and his money must be there. I gave him a day to think. I'll wait for his answer tomorrow. Am I being selfish? I don't think so, because he also got the right reward.

The night I called to convince her, but never picked up. I finally sent a message to her.

The morning Milly came to see me in my room. I've been waiting with Adrian. He was shocked when I introduced him to Adrian.

Milly made her decision. But it turned out that he gave me conditions that made me very angry.

She wants Mas Adrian to marry her first. I don't accept that.

I kicked him out of my room. But he begged me to listen to his explanation first.
