Floral
I walked towards the living room after wiping away my tears. I found Aunt Hana sitting on the sofa next to Kak Lintang.
I cheered the woman. "How's aunt."
"Good, Flower. You how are you?"
"Good tan."
"Where from? It's coming from the back."
"Yeah. Back a minute, tan."
Aunt Hana was being friendly as usual. But there's something different. He did not dare look me in the eye. What kind of aunt is a two-faced man, tan? Why is aunt being nice, but not approving of me and Satya's sister?
"Tan, may the flower speak for a moment."
Aunt Hana exhaled a rough breath. He guessed what I would talk about. Aunt Hana nodded. "You moving places?"
I look around. There are no children. There was only Lintang and Akhtar's brother talking to the twins.
"Kids still shower the same mbak Dini." Kak Lintang seemed to understand what I was thinking. I can't let the kids listen to this serious talk.
"This is a aunt."
I let out a breath. I sat on my knees in front of Aunt Hana. I clasped his hand.
"It's about Flowers and Satya's sister, tan."
Aunt Hana just kept quiet. "Please bless us, aunt."
"I love aunt's son. We love each other, tan!" I looked down, my tears were flowing. Kak Lintang rubbed my back.
"Flower, sorry son. Aunt can't!" Aunt Hana took my hand off. I'm staring. "Tante, please tan flowers."
"There's one reason aunty doesn't approve of us."
Aunt Hana is silent. His eyes began to glaze over. I know she's a good woman.
Aunt Hana shook her head.
"Tante, my relationship with Satya's brother began before Arum and Rezki's brother's accident." I'll explain everything. If after this there is no blessing, then I am ready to never marry anyone.
"Their accident damaged our relationship in an instant. When I cry over my brother's body and when Satya's brother laments his sister's body. That's where our relationship stopped. But not with our love."
"We have repeatedly denied this feeling. But it's the same, tan. Love is the same."
"I'm grateful that our family is still connected because of Zoya. But I'm sick, I can't hug him, the man I love." I pointed at Satya's brother who was standing at a distance of several meters from us.
"I'm pretending to be okay. I buried that feeling deep. And I know Satya did the same thing. But it's better, at least we can still see each other."
"Because if this relationship is open, then this is what I'm afraid of. We'll be separated, completely separated."
"Two years ago, Brother Satya asked me to dare to acknowledge this relationship in front of you, our parents." I wiped my tears.
"But I asked for two years, because I already got the S2 scholarship."
"I also want to test my love that grew here." I held my chest.
"It turns out love is still the same, tan. The name inside is still Satya. Not another man."
"Satya's brother also admitted the same thing."
"Enough, Flowers." Aunt Hana wiped her tears.
The woman stood up and walked away from me. I bowed touching his feet.
"Flower please, auntie!"
"Yes! Stop, Na." Satya pulled my body to get up. Lintang also helped me to wake up.
"Na, please. Don't do this!" Brother Satya yelled at me. But I know, not out of anger, but because I don't want to go as low as possible.
"So you said you'd kneel at your feet if you didn't approve of us, right?"
Satya's sister hugged me sitting on the floor. Aunt Hana is still standing glued. Satya's mother has not moved.
"Listen, Na! It's my business and Mom's. You don't have to do this."
"But this is because I'm brother. Because the woman you love and want to marry is me."
"I can't bear to see my brother as if he was on the edge of a horn. Brother is caught up with this problem?"
"Western fruit, right, sister?"
"Aren't you confused about whether to choose me or your sister's mother?"
Brother Satya let go of my embrace. He stood up and told me to sit on the sofa. He also led Aunt Hana to sit on the sofa.
"Say ma'am, how can I be with Bunga?" Satya's sister kneels in front of Aunt Hana.
"I love her."
"You sure you love him, Sat?" Ask aunt Hana.
"Very sure, Mom."
"Are you sure you won't hurt him?" Aunt Hana shed tears.
"Are you sure you're not gonna leave him?"
"I'm sure, Mom." Said Satya firmly.
"Mom still feels guilty about Arum, son."
"Arum destroys the household of son of Darma. Mothers are actually ashamed of their families."
"And you want to ask for their daughter. I'm afraid you're hurting her. I'm afraid you're making them disappointed."
I can breathe a sigh of relief, apparently the reason is not because I do not deserve Satya's brother. Because I was so precious in his eyes.
"I promise I won't do it, Mom."
"Tante," I knelt next to Satya's brother.
"Sister Rezki and brother Arum are calm there. Don't always blame them. And don't make their mistakes a stumbling block for us to live, tan."
Kak Lintang sat closer. "Right flower, aunt. I even took everything. Error mas Rezki and Arum should we bury deep."
"We should focus on Zoya and the Stars. We can't always talk about this. They're starting to get big. They'll question things before the time when we tell them everything." Kak Lintang.
"We should really take care of their hearts, auntie. That fragile heart would be shattered when the two realized their parents had left behind many sorrows and wounds."
"You're right, Lin." Aunt Hana agreed with Kak Lintang.
"The future of children is at stake."
"It will be very confusing for them, they were born on the same day, but not twins. They have the same father but a different mother."
"Because it is your duty to explain to them."
"Auntie put the kids on all of you."
"Flower, sorry aunt made you sad. You are a precious jewel to both your parents. And aunt doesn't want you to get hurt because of aunt's son."
"Satya promise, ma'am."
"Face up with Darma. Promise and prove it to her."
"Papa's got it done, tan." I actually talked about this to my mom and dad. They're blessing me. I know why, so I don't go out on the island to teach.
Satya immediately hugged me. But he immediately moved away by holding his ear.
"Sir, pain, Mom!" Aunt Hana pulls Satya's ear.
"Chalk first!"
