Latitudinal
This morning our house was very crowded. Because this Sunday will be a seven-month anniversary of my pregnancy.
I was in the room. Just finished wearing thin makeup to look fresher. I wore a white robe, in harmony with the white kurta worn by Akhtar.
Chequek..
The sound of an open door handle. "Mister, are you ready yet? The guests have started to arrive." Rara came in and took a position next to me.
I looked towards him. "It has. Just got Ra." I was about to stand up but Rara held me back.
"Rara wants some good tidings." I cringe.
"Rara was accepted to college." I pulled him in my arms. "Thank you mbak. It's been a lot of help."
"Congratulations Rara. Which scholarship?" He's nodding. "Yes, ma'am."
"Alhamdulillah. I'll talk about your work later! Take care of your health because after this your schedule will be solid." I'll discuss this with my father-in-law soon. I will also order Anna to find a new employee to replace Rara.
"Once again thank you so much for supporting me so far, Ma'am."
"Student learning. Sky's waiting for you. And don't be a bit more, huh?" She smiled shyly, her face met.
"The sky loves you, even when you don't go to college he still accepts you. But I don't know, you want to have a better future."
Rara nodded. "We never know in the future what it will be like. Rara is only afraid if one day berpasip same as mbak Lintang or sister Anna." My wife and Anna are pretty much the same. It's just that Anna's ex-husband is still alive.
"Naudzubillah Ra's. Enough of us to feel it." I said holding his hand. I don't want anyone to feel the bitterness I used to feel.
"Come mbak. We're going down." Rara took my hand especially as we went down the stairs.
Before I go ahead, I go to the kitchen. Seeing mom and mom preparing rice boxes for guests with bi Imah and others.
Then walk forward to welcome guests who come with Akhtar. In addition to relatives and friends, we also invite orphans and ustadz to fill the event.
The event went smoothly, starting from the recitation of the holy verse of the Quran, short lectures, remembrance, do'a and lastly sharing with orphans.
"Alhamdulillah. Everything went well." I said when the event was over and left only the closest family. I also want to thank those who have helped me a lot.
"You don't get tired Lin. From now on, the children will be coming home with Sora. Sora's gonna drive them here." Mama Riana said.
"Yes ma, I'm sorry to bother Ra."
"It's okay brother. Caraka would love to go home with her sisters."
"Prepare the name Tar" asked my father-in-law.
"There are a few names, pa. But we haven't decided yet because we don't want to know the gender either" Akhtar replied.
And the chatter keeps flowing, discussing from important to unimportant.
"Loh, Rara hasn't gone back?" I caught a glimpse of Rara walking from the kitchen to the exit with a few drinks.
"They're in the gazebo with the kids." Answer Mother.
"I'll be there for a minute, ma'am." I walked into the kitchen, then went out and headed straight for the gazebo.
Rara and the Stars are coloring, while Zoya is just looking. Next to them was a Sky sleeping on its back while playing games on its phone.
"What picture is Bi?" My toot.
The three of them looked towards me. "This ma, aunt Rara Barbie dress picture. It's just a coloring aid." The star shows a picture of a dress that has been finished colored.
"Well, that's great Ra." The girl smiled shyly.
"Let's learn mbak."
"You're majoring in fashion design Ra?"
Rara nodded. "Yes mbak. From childhood I had a desire to open a boutique."
"Well.. nice dong! Come on Lang, modelled on your future wife."
"Butik doang is easy. Beresin was in college." Speak the Sky without turning your eyes from the screen of his phone. "Keep marrying me."
I pinched his stomach. "That's what you want Lang!" I sneered.
"Well, right from the beginning I wanted to marry him. Mother-of-mind tell her to go to college. Take another scholarship. It will be four years." Annoyed annoyed. "Hoooo I'm old."
"Lecture is also my will." Rara was arguing.
"Kids go in first yes, point the picture to uti same grandma." I ordered Bintang and Zoya to go inside. Because I'm sure this debate will be long.
The sky put down her phone, then sat down facing Rara. "Can go to college after marrying Ra."
"If I'm pregnant how, my mother."
"If you don't want to get pregnant, we can put it off. Or you get pregnant and give birth first only after that new college list." The debate gets tougher.
Rara glassy. "You ah." Rara collected the paint pencil into her box. He seems reluctant to argue again.
I let out a breath. "You love him Lang?" Me really.
"Love, if I don't do what I want to marry her."
Also true. My inner
"If love waits for him!" I'm firm. "Wait until she graduates and achieve her goals."
"She's just afraid to be as passive as me and Anna. And if one day he was as good as us, at least he was equipped with the knowledge to be able to continue living," I continued.
I'm trying to make Heaven understand. Because sometimes women think far ahead, what if one day abandoned? What if my husband doesn't have a job?
Ck... Sky chuckling. I don't know why this time he was so stubborn. "That's not gonna happen, brother."
"Should! That shouldn't have happened to Rara! Because if that happens, get ready to face me." Threatened him.
The sky sneered and again took a recumbent position. "Actually whose sister? Me or Rara!"
"You're alike. Both are my sisters."
We were silent for a moment.
The sky took a sitting position. "You can go to college. But we're engaged first, yeah." His voice is soft now. "Be aware that you're smitten by a handsome student there."
God, it turns out the sky was just afraid of Rara turning away. Ah, sweet this is my sister.
"Thank you, man!" Rara immediately hugged the Sky.
I grabbed both ears. "Sickness.mbak!"
"Sick brother." The sky held his ears.
"Not muhrim. Keep a safe distance!"
"I.Yes.Yes..." Sky grumbling.
"There are people who dare to hug. How is there no one!"
"Beeght... direct cip*k." The words of the sky made me glare.
"Eh. don't mbak, never suweer." Rara pointed two fingers.
"Now not yet, tomorrow-tomorrow no promise Ra." The sky again made me glare.
"You're making the mood even more murky, Mom!" Rara pouted.
"Make all the boys yuk! Let's get married." The hardship is becoming.
I stood up to leave them. "Bare you to do that. That's why you're skinn's sister."
The sky shuddered in horror. "It's such a cruel clown's birthday!" Her lips.
