Edward put his cell phone back on the table after the man received a call from his mother in London.

The man exhaled a breath that seemed to be very heavy, drawing attention from Kendrick and David.

"Later I'll continue the story! I answered the phone from Chika first," Edward said as he stood up and walked away from Kendrick and David.

"Yes, Honey?" greet Edward.

"Have you slept?" chika's voice was so soft from there.

"No, Honey. I talked to Ken and David. Why aren't you asleep?"

"This is me going to sleep. I just want to tell you before I forget. Mama asked you, Kendrick and David to come home tomorrow. Dinner is also okay, let all papa also be at home. How's it?"

Edward remained silent. He suddenly recalled his conversation with his mother earlier on the phone.

Yes, his parents Edward had betrothed him to a woman, the daughter of a good friend of his father and his mother had asked him to return to London, to hold his engagement to the woman he did not love at all. "Darling, can I ask you something?" Chika again opened her voice, stopping the silence that had been created.

"I want to ask, do your parents know about our relationship? and do they both approve? you know, I just realized that you haven't introduced me to your parents at all,"

Edward's throat was completely blocked. Even to swallow his own saliva, the man found it difficult to do so, because that was the burden of his mind now.
