Meet Grandpa Surya

"Emm, we'll have lunch here first. After that we leave together to the residence of Grandpa Surya, your grandfather both," said Bayu while looking at the clock on the wall that turned out to have entered lunch.

"Yes, right my husband said. Let's have lunch first. Honey had prepared lunch like that," Nani Naura chimed in on her husband's words, while slipping a little tad of the tadpole to make Kendrick's face turn red.

The car that Bayu drove stopped in front of a large house that was none other than the residence of Surya, his grandfather Kendrick and Kimberly. "Let's get out of the car! you guys wanna stay in the car?" Bayu knocked on Kimberly's car door.

Kimberly gasped in shock and opened the car door.

"Eh, Sorry Om! we're a little tense about it," Kimberly said as she slipped a smile.

Kendrick breathed a sigh of relief at Naura's reply and followed behind Bayu.

After pressing the bell several times the door was opened by someone from inside

"Eh, Mr Bayu! find Mr Surya huh?" ask the person who opened the door who turned out to be the housekeeper in the house.

"Yes. Is he inside?"

Bayu smiled and nodded his head. Then walk into the sofa followed by the others.

Kendrick circulated his gaze in all directions, amazed by the selection of the interior of the room, which was truly Indonesia once. However, the handsome man's heart was immediately squeezed to see a family photo showing the old man with his wife along with a man whom Kendrick believed to be his mother's brother. Beside the man, there was a woman who was definitely his wife and two other young men who were definitely the children of his mother's brother. What makes Kendrick feel squeezed, is that there is no mother there as well as her father and Kimberly and herself. The man felt pain from feeling that the woman who had given birth to him was really not considered at all.

"Hey, Bayu! what's coming here? not usually," a baritone voice sounded from the direction of the family room.

Bayu suddenly stood up and approached the old man whom Kendrick was convinced was his grandfather. Next to the old man was a woman who was also elderly and Kendrick was convinced that it was his grandmother.

"I'm invited by Naura, Om! He misses you and Aunt Daryanti" Bayu said as he reached out to shake the old man's hand and changed towards the old woman beside him.

The same thing was done by Nani and Naura, and of course Kimberly and Kendrick who did not want to be considered insolent to stand up and shake Surya's hand.

Surya narrowed his eyes looking questioningly at Kendrick and Kimberly. While Daryanti looked at the two with dewy eyes.

"Hi, Grandma, Grandma! I'm already home. I miss you both!" Naura opened her voice while hugging Grandpa Surya and Grandma Daryanti, to make the situation not tense.

"Yes, what did you bring to Indonesia? definitely not bring!" sahut Surya while pinching Naura's nose. Bayu's daughter whom he considered his own grandson.

"There's dong, Grandpa! this is for Grandpa and this is for grandma," Naura gave a canteen containing the actual souvenirs given by the Goddess.

"What did you bring?" Surya opened the bag and saw a belt that he knew was very expensive.

"You're going there to go to college. How can you buy such an expensive item? you're not doing anything to make money?" knock Surya with a frown.

For those who first heard the old man speak, it might be offended to feel suspicious. But, since Naura was used to it, the woman simply smiled in response to the old man's remark. Only Kendrick clenched his hands, feeling dislike for the words of the man who was his grandfather. Indirectly, the man seemed to be accusing Naura of doing bad things to earn money. But the eyes of Naura who glanced at him seemed to signal that he was not provoked.

"That's money from papa, Grandma. I asked papa to send me money, and of course papa can't refuse this beautiful daughter's request" Naura said spoiledly.

"You can indeed make people unable to refuse what you ask," Surya again pinched Naura's nose.

While Daryanti was not at all interested in opening a bag containing souvenirs for him. The old woman was completely focused on staring at Kendrick and Kimberly with a longing gaze.

"Who are they both?" Surya pointed towards Kendrick and Kimberly.
