Love Different Country

Love Different Country
Kendrick's anger

"Why should I not speak Indonesian? are outsiders forbidden to know?" kendrick's voice sounded cold.

Surya did not reply at all. But the man's gaze looked cynical as he looked at Kendrick.

"This is the difference between Indonesians and outsiders. You guys talk to the parents there is no courtesy at all" Surya said.

Kendrick, exhale and grieve.

"Not polite where is it? do I have to call you Mr, then it can be said to be polite? earlier in there, you had already spoken to me and tried to provoke Om Bayu not to allow Naura to be with me. If I didn't know to be polite and brash, of course I would call you back, right? but, did I do it? didn't you? that's because I still respect you as the host and the older person. But, when you accuse me of making Grandma Daryanti cry, of course I don't accept" Kendrick said at length and without pause. The man really couldn't help but vent his anger.

"Ken, don't continue anymore!" reprimand Naura with a clear face.

Surya's face looks reddened, the jaw begins to harden because only this time there are more who dare to argue with him besides his daughter Dewi.

"How dare you yell at me in my own house. Are you I__"

"I'll you what? You're gonna intimidate me by using your old office? if so, don't you think it looks like a loser? it wasn't a real man who used a position to knock out an opponent" Kendrick deliberately slipped a sarcastic insinuation in his speech.

"So talk! you don't seem to be taught any manners by your parents!"

Kendrick clenched both hands tightly. His chest was seen rising and falling due to his hunting breath.

"You've really missed out. Don't ever bring my parents in on this. Now I'm gonna ask you, as a parent, you've succeeded as a parent?"

Surya was silent and could not answer at all. But the old man's face already looked extremely angry. Again Kendrick reminds him back to the Goddess, the daughter he did not consider.

"Kendrick, stop! we better get home now!" Naura again opened her voice, to mediate the debate between grandfather and grandson.

"Yes, let's go home now!" Kimberly also opens her voice.

"You don't go yet! I really still want to talk to you guys!" Daryanti tries to prevent. The old woman stared intently at her husband Surya. The first thing she dared to do during her marriage to the man.

"Pa, Papa is really outrageous. I don't cry because they make me cry. But I cried because they were __"

"Grandma, we better go home first!" Kendrick quickly interrupts Daryanti's words who seems to want to reveal her identity with Kimberly.

Daryanti turned her gaze towards Kendrick and Kimberly. The woman saw that the gaze of her two grandchildren was as if asking her not to tell her the truth.

"I mean, these guys are from England. I knew my daughter was there. I just asked them, do they do they know him? because Kimberly's son is a diplomat just like Viktor. I just want to know how my daughter, Pa, is doing" said Daryanti, looking for a good and reasonable reason. But even though it was just an excuse, Still the old woman could not help her tears to fall, because indeed the woman did not completely lie the matter of her longing for the princess.

"Don't bring the name of that dissident child in front of me! remember she's not our daughter anymore!"

Kendrick again clenched both hands to hear Surya's words that really hurt for him.

"It's up to you to say what, obviously the Goddess is my daughter. I have been pregnant with her for nine months, I have given birth to her into this world and this hand that has raised her to adulthood. How could you ask me to forget all that? you're really selfish, Pa. It's been decades, but you still can't lower your ego. Until when is that?"

"Whoops!" the sound of the sun is rising. The man's gaze was as sharp as a dagger ready to hit the heart. This time, his wife denied his words.

Daryanti squealed in shock, hearing Surya's thunderous voice. But his fear only applies to a fraction of a second, because he thinks he's been obedient enough so far.

"What,Pa? Papa what do I want? all this time I was silent, even though my heart wanted to rebel. You don't realize that what you've been doing all this time is making me hurt my heart. Does Papa think that the treasure, the gift that Papa always gives, can make me happy? not at all! Papa has taken away my happiness, "Daryanti can no longer hide what she's been feeling all along.

The breath of Surya is hunting. The man turned to look at Kendrick and Kimberly.

"This is all because of the presence of the two of you. You have made my wife dare to rebel. Get out of here and never set foot in this place again!" instead of realizing his mistake, Surya went back to blaming Kendrick and Kimberly.

"Father, stop blaming them! It's not their fault, but I myself am not strong enough to save all my heartache. I really miss the Goddess, Pa!" Daryanti started sobbing.

"Grandmother," Kimberly wanted to hug Daryanti, to give the old woman peace.

"Don't you dare hug my wife once in a while!" Surya pulls Daryanti's hand, making Kimberly undo her intentions.

"Take me off! you're not__"

"Naura, get the two of them from here! and don't ever bring them back to my house!" surya's words in a very firm and cold voice, cut off Daryanti's words.

Naura, take a deep breath and exhale it back. Without replying to the old man, Naura grabbed Kendrick's hand and gestured for them to leave the place.

Kendrick did not move his legs. The man was still standing in his place while staring intently at Surya with his eagle eyes.

"Without you driving us out, we'll leave this place. But as long as I live, only this time I see a man who is very old, and even almost the smell of the ground still survives with his selfishness. You really live only for yourself. You do not realize that not always the person who is on your side, will always be patient. One day it will explode like a time bomb. Congratulations on waiting for that to happen!" kendrick concluded while stepping his legs leaving Surya who stood glued in place.
