"Andreea!" Fatah Gunawan shouted to Andreea when he saw the girl coming out of a coffeeshop with Anshara.
Andreea, who recognized Fatah, smiled at the middle-aged man who had come with her only son.
"Uncle, Brother. How are you?" Andreea reached out to greet her uncle.
"We're good. Can we talk to you for a second?" Fatah grabbed Andreea's hand quickly.
Andreea nodded, then followed Fatah and Leo who walked first to one of the shophouse terraces there. He also gestured for Anshara to wait for him for a while in the car.
"We're just going inside?" Andreea loosened her gaze to the inner area of the shophouse, which turned out to be a pastry shop. There's some tables to dine in in there.
"That's it. Uncle can't take long."
Andreea according. He pulled out a chair and sat facing his Uncle and cousin.
"Ree, you still think this uncle is your family, don't you?"
Andreea.
"I mean uncle, why did your husband treat you this way. Uncle did not expect, Anggara to shame uncle in front of the board of directors." Fatah lowered her head, revealing a sad look on her face.
Andreea who knew nothing was naturally shocked. "Uncle , what's wrong? What does it mean that Brother Gara humiliated Uncle?" She did not want any misunderstanding between her husband and uncle. After all, her relationship with Aunt Melani was well-established.
"Your husband, yelling at my father in front of so many people and saying your family has nothing to do with us." Leo, who said , tried to answer Andreea's question.
Andreea. "Uncle , this seems to be a misunderstanding. Maybe Brother Gara doesn't remember uncle and Aunt Melani coming at my wedding."
"Ree, stop! Forgetit. For Anggara maybe Uncle is nobody. It's okay, but you're still uncle's nephew."
Andreea crumpled up the end of her shirt, confused as to what to answer.
"Your husband is very busy. He has to take care of his father's company and is now also burdened by Dee Corp affairs. That must have made it hard for him."
Andreea. "Yes, Brother Gara is busy taking care of me and the company, so he has no time for himself." he replied softly. In his heart also sometimes he felt a burden to Anggara.
"Do you think Dee Corp should be taken care of by someone else?" Fatah asked carefully and looked at Andreea's change in expression.
At first Fatah was afraid Andreea would also abuse him, but it didn't seem to be. The look on the girl's face showed no irritation at all.
"Can I uncle?"
Well, this girl is either innocent or stupid.
Fatah quickly nodded. "There's Leo's brother. He is also experienced, although not as a company owner. There's nothing to worry about, and there's a Board of Directors overseeing the work."
In the look on Andreea's face, it is clear that the girl is considering her uncle's proposal.
"Leo is still your family. Don't you trust him?"
Andreea quickly shook her head. "It's not. But can it be? The process must be very complicated. When Thomas's father took over the leadership there were also a lot of people who doubted him."
"That's because Thomas, um uncle, that's because your father-in-law has no family connection to your father. Of course, many people object. But Leo is your family. Right?"
"Ree , sign this. Let Leo take care of it. You have to spend a lot of time with your husband." Fatah presents a map containing six sheets of paper with stamp duty that has been pasted.
Andreea had not received it yet, someone had taken it from Fatah.
"Sister Gara?" Andreea stood up to find her husband suddenly behind her.
Anggara opened and read the contents of the map one by one and then smiled obliquely.
"What the fuck?" Fatah stared intently at Anggara though in her heart trepidation as well. How could this man suddenly be here.
Anggara spread the map until the contents scattered out. "My wife won't sign this."
Andreea frowned while Fatah and Leo started to fidget.
"Sister, don't misunderstand me. Uncle and brother are well-intentioned."
Anggara did not answer , he just clasped Andreea's palm without turning his head.
"Did Aunt Melani know about this? If Aunt Melani doesn't know anything about this rotten plan, I'll forgive you just once, as my respect for the family of my late father-in-law. But if it turns out that Aunt Melani is also behind all this, be prepared. I'll make sure you regret ever harassing my wife."
"Suckers! Uncle Ardhan is my uncle. I'm more entitled to his property than you are just a stranger!" Leo pulls the collar of Anggara's shirt. Just a second, before some of Anggara's men who had been watching them, snapped Leo's hand rough from Anggara's shirt.
Andreea bit her lips hard. He wanted to cry, but he could bear it.
"Reea, listen! You believe in brother, right? My brother will manage the company well. He's just a stranger who married you for Uncle Ardhan's treasure!" Leo continued to squeal as his arm was held by two men and dragged away from there with Fatah.
Anggara leads Andreea into the car.
"You okay?" Anshara who sat in front quickly turned her head as Andreea and Anggara entered through the back door.
Anggara shook his head slowly, gesturing for Anshara to shut up. "Road" he told Heri, the driver who accompanied Shara and Reea everywhere.
"Do they want a company? Why am I so stupid?" Andreea kept her head down, both her hands creeping together from trembling.
Anggara nodded, then carried Andreea into his arms. "It's okay. Listen to me." Anggara pulled Andreea's chin to look up at her.
"Dee Corporation is yours. I'm just helping run it until you're really ready to take over. Therefore, the deed of the company was never changed. My position is there, based only on a power of attorney from Ardhan's father shortly before he died. Then it turns into a power of attorney issued by you when we get married. So whenever you want, you can take it." Aggara was afraid, the words Leo had influenced Andreea.
"If you sign the file, DC will belong to Leo completely without you being able to retrieve it again. They just need to bring it in front of the notary and it's all done."
Andreea. "I'm sorry, I'm so stupid."
Anggara pulled Andreea again into his arms. "You're just too plain. It's 'til forget it."
"Don't hurt Aunt Melani, she loves me so much."
Vaguely Andreea felt Anggara nodding slowly.
