Little Wife Vice President

Little Wife Vice President
IKWP - It's Nothing

Anshara frowned as she saw Andreea coming down from the half-running stairs and gasping for breath.

"What's wrong?" so Andreea sat on one of the chairs at the dining table.

"Huh?"

"You're like you've seen a ghost."

"Ah that.. Brother Gara." Be aware of what is happening with his own breath and - perhaps - his facial expression.

"So, aren't you home yet?" Anita put some cookies that she had just removed from the oven.

Andreea nodded.

"He bothers you?" Anshara investigated again.

"Ck. You're this-" Anita's just about to pick up her daughter's ear but shut it down because of Andreea's next words.

"No. Just like suddenly hugging me. I'm surprised."

Anita flabbergasted. God, this is his son-in-law, right? Is it true the wife of his eldest son?

"really? She's not fierce?" Anita who was curious, immediately took a sitting position next to Andreea.

"You used to say you were afraid of him." Anshara said it first.

Andreea chuckles. "Not anymore, Brother Gara is very good. Always say softly, never yell, never get angry. He also hugged me a lot, cradled me too. Kiss it too."

"Jeez Andreea shut the fuck up!" Anshara clucked in wonder but then burst out with Anita.

"Just learn well. No need to worry about anything, Father and Sister Gara will take care of everything." Thomas again advised when Andreea and Anshara were preparing to leave for campus.

Andreea nodded, then approached hugging Thomas tightly. "Dad, thank you."

"No need to thank me. You're Dad's daughter too. It's 'hurry up or you'll cry again."

As the car carrying his two daughters passed, Thomas let out a sigh of resignation. Too many things have happened in Andreea's life lately. If Ardhan had realized something was wrong, all of this would have been avoided.

"Members will take care of it, right?" Anita who had been out since when she was next to him, asked. It was clearly a worried look on his face.

"Just calm. Darmawan is nothing. Ardhan just didn't notice it."

Anita nodded, hoping that what her husband said was true. Early this morning, Anggara had gone to the Dee Corp building. He didn't even have breakfast. Anita hope everything goes well.

"What will happen in the house." Anita's grumbling makes Thomas chuckle.

"Just enter." said Anggara from inside the room when the sound of the door being knocked.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Darmawan wants to meet" said Elisha , the secretary of the late Ardhani - who is now automatically an Anggara-secretary.

Anggara still looked down at some files on his desk. His hands clenched tightly. "Farmers?" He looked up, showing off a look of pretending not to know.

"Pak Darmawan is one of our external partners who manages two restaurant branches in South Jakarta."

"Alright, let him in." Anggara moved towards the sofa as a middle-aged man entered his room.

Look, the man is smiling. Nothing stands out with his appearance. Just looks like another middle-aged man. Who would have thought, he was the mastermind behind the deaths of Ardhan and Miranda.

"Please sit. What's the need?" Anggara did not even extend his hand. He put his clenched hands into his pants pocket.

"I'm sorry to disturb you. I am Darmawan, manager of two restaurants in South Jakarta."

"Yesterday, the company contacted me about the termination of the external partner contract" he said again because Anggara did not respond to anything earlier.

"May I ask the details? Because according to information, it's your decision as the new President Director."

"Yes, right. That was my decision. The contract ends this month, right? All external partners of the company must prepare a comprehensive report for further evaluation by the audit team."

"We, the external partners who have been managing Dee Corp's business products, wouldn't it be outrageous if you suddenly threw us out? Dee Corp just sat quietly then enjoyed most of the profits. We are the ones who work hard to grow our business. Doesn't it make sense that we should be more entitled to the effort?"

Anggara laughed at Darmawan who had been ignited by emotions. "The contract is proof that you're just the manager, not the owner." He stared hard at Darmawan.

"Ck. If Mr. Ardhan were alive, he wouldn't let his daughter marry a greedy man like you."

Anggara clenched his fists even stronger, then stood stepping towards his chair. "If you're done, please come out!"

Anggara slammed a vase of flowers nearby as he heard steps out and the door closed. He was very angry, it felt like he wanted to tear the man apart right now. If it wasn't for Zack asking for a longer time to confirm all , he would have finished off Darmawan earlier.

"Master, Zack's got it. All the evidence that could not possibly be denied again by Darmawan and his daughter." Damar who had just entered and closed the door hurriedly walked towards Anggara.

"Give it to me." Anggara reached out his hand to receive the tablet Damar was holding.

He checked carefully what was there. A moment later he smiled. "This guy is really nothing. How dare he stab Uncle Ardhan who has been very kind to him."
