Everyone was gathered in the living room after finishing dinner together. Thomas was greatly relieved, when he saw Andreea had begun to forget his sadness. The daughter-in-law was struggling spoiled in Anita's arms while listening to Anshara chattering about how Anggara had come to their campus this afternoon, making three girls who had been hostile to Andreea speechless a thousand languages.
"Why do they hate you so much?" Anita turned her gaze to Andreea.
Andreea. "Come, Ma. One of them was my high school friend, he always called me a poor kid because of the school with the scholarship. The other two, I don't even know."
Thomas frowned dislike. "Poor child? Does he not know that Ardhani's wealth can even buy your school foundation."
Andreea chuckles. "Let it be ', as long as they don't touch me I don't matter." Andreea then turned her gaze to Anshara. "It's fun, seeing them so upset that we're dealing with them with a laugh?"
Anshara nodded. "That's so exciting, I have to see their faces next time." He chuckles.
Anita and Thomas just shook their heads.
"It's stupid, don't you know that scholarships are also given to high-achieving students?" This time Anshara grumbled.
Anggara's phone shook, and of all people only Thomas noticed it. They glanced at each other, and Anggara decided to ignore the call.
"Moving! You have long monopolized my mother." Anshara's voice sounded again, this time she slammed in between Andreea and Anita.
"Cabin." Anggara looked at Andreea softly.
"Sad. You're very calculating." Andreea grumbled and sat down next to Anggara.
Anggara's phone vibrated again. Andreea can clearly see the name of Damar listed there. She turned to her husband, for he did not lift the call.
"It's okay. I'll answer it later." Like knowing the question that was on his wife's head, Anggara stroked Andreea's hair slowly.
Anita and Thomas blinked. Anggara's sweet treatment, only the first time they saw it. The eldest son who rarely even smiles can also be gentle with his wife.
"Have, you go upstairs." Thomas told Andreea and Anshara. "Father and Brother Gara want to discuss some things."
They walked up the stairs after saying good night to Anita and Thomas. But instead of going into her own room, Andreea followed Anshara into her room.
"After this, everything's gonna be okay, right?" Andreea looked up at the ceiling of the room after laying down her body on Anshara's bed.
"You worried about something?" Anshara later settles down next to Andreea.
Andreea. "If they're after me, aren't you and the rest of this family in danger, too?" He turned his gaze again to the ceiling of the room. "We don't know what kind of people they are." he murmured softly.
"We don't know, but Father and Brother Gara must finally know now. Don't worry." Anshara moved down and played the end of her pillowcase.
"Ree, all you have to remember is that they managed to harm your father not because they were so strong and your father was too weak. I told you, Uncle Ardhan just didn't know it sooner." he continued.
Andreea nodded her head. What Anshara said, may it be true.
**
Andreea blinked as she felt her vision glare exposed to the sunlight. Ah sure enough, he guessed out there is already very bright even though only a little light that managed to enter through the small sidelines of the curtains.
Andreea looked up at the wall clock, it was already seven in the morning.
"I'm in the room?" after recognizing the interior of his own room.
Andreea remembers, last night she fell asleep in Shara's room while talking to her sister-in-law. And this morning he woke up in his own room. It was definitely Anggara who was carrying her.
After bathing and preparing, Andreea immediately went downstairs. At the dinner table, there were already Anita and Anshara.
Anita nodded. "hum. Brother Gara is not saying goodbye? Maybe you don't want to disturb your sleep." He stroked Andreea's head and then raised his chin as a signal for her daughter-in-law to sit down.
"You sleep or faint? Even last night you didn't wake up when Sister Gara was holding you." Anshara said despite the difficulties because of the bread that filled her mouth.
"Is anyone sick?" Anita asked because Andreea did not respond to Anshara's remarks. Andreea went to bed earlier last night, and did not even wake up when maybe Anggara was active in his room this morning, probably because he was exhausted.
Andreea. "I'm fine, Mom."
"If you're too tired, just rest at home."
Andreea shook her head again. "I'm going to college, just keep quiet I can get bored."
Anita took a sitting position beside Andreea, she clasped the girl's hand and looked at her deeply.
"This morning, Father and Brother Gara completed some things at the police station. They're gonna make sure those guys get arrested soon." Anita looked at Andreea's face. There was still sadness there, though Anita also caught a look of relief on her daughter-in-law's face.
"Your father and mother.?. let them go, hum? Don't cry too long, they'll be sad."
Andreea nodded then smiled. "The death of my father and mother, it was fate, wasn't it Mom? Even in a painful way. As long as those people are punished, I will not count anymore. I'm gonna smile a lot, so Dad and my mom don't worry about leaving me here."
Andreea was determined. Hundreds of times he told himself that death was fate, though it was painful and impossible to forget. Time can not be turned again, everything that has happened can not be changed again. He will keep his parents in his heart and memories, he has promised never to cry again.
Anita nodded, then stroked Andreea's head. Anshara, just lowered her head while holding back her tears. What happened to Andreea was too heavy, he could not imagine if it was him maybe he would not survive.
"Recycle your bread! Why even cry, so cry." Andreea of course realized that Shara across there was trying her hardest to hold back her tears.
"Curtain! Look who's talking!"
They laughed and immediately finished breakfast when Andreea's phone rang long.
"Yes, Brother?"
"Honey, are you ready?"
"Yes, I'm having breakfast with Shara and Mom. We're leaving soon."
"Today just missed your college schedule. I'll have Uncle Heri drive you to the police station after taking Shara to campus."
Deg. Andreea. Police station?
"What's..." Andreea paused for a moment her sentence. "Have they been arrested?"
"Hum, it's okay. No problem, just the police need to confirm a few things to you. You're okay, right?"
"Yes, it's okay."
"All right, I'm closing. Be careful on the way."
Andreea closed her call, then looked at Anita and Anshara in assistance.
"So you said 'I have to go to the police station after taking you to campus first."
"No! I'll just come along."
