70. Investigating culprit.

Yoana heard a faint noise, felt distant but did not seem to be far away.

Slowly reluctantly Joanna opened her eyes, the bright light that entered the room made Joanna's eyes glare.

Joanna raised her hand to cover her eyes which felt glare.

From between her fingers, Joanna peeked at the situation around her.

"Wake up, baby!" a baritone voice sounded beside him.

Joanna reflexes looked at her side.

Alexander sat next to him leaning on the head of the bed not wearing clothes, only a blanket covering the hips to his feet.

The man looked smilingly looking at Yiana.

Joanna glanced at her surroundings, now she knew where she was now. In Alexander's room.

Yoana heard yet another faint noise, apparently outside Alexander's bedroom door.

"Open the door Nick!" it was the voice of Alexander's mother shouting.

"Sorry Madam, I can't open the door of the young master's room, the password of the door has been changed Young master!" answer Nick calmly.

"You as his assistant must know the password to Alexander's room door, what if something happens to him in the room, and the room door cannot be opened, you as an assistant are useless!" yelled Alexander's mother.

Nick silently did not answer Alexander's mother's screams.

"Revelation! let me knock on her door, I want to know if she's okay in the room!" alexander's mother told Nick to get out of Alexander's doorstep.

"Sorry Madam, the young master is still sleeping, why do you look so panicked, what happened to the young master?" ask Nick suspiciously.

"No, I just wanted to make sure it was, last night someone told me he came home early from the party, so I was worried about him!" alexander's mother said a little hesitant to answer Nick's question.

"Since when have you cared about the young master, Madam?" asked Nick frowned looking at the big madam.

"Don't worry Madam, young master was on his way home with his personal assistant last night, young master is safe, I myself am looking with my own eyes!" nick said calmly.

"Oh, yes! alexander's new assistant seemed to have done something to Alexander, the woman had to be fired!" sahut Alexander's mother again voiced her dislike of Joanna.

"Sorry Madam, if it's the matter of the young master's personal assistant, it's only the young master who decides for himself, whether or not his assistant will be fired!" tell Nick calmly.

No more noise outside the room, silent for a moment.

Yiana looked at Alexander who looked calm just looking at her smilingly.

Alexander's hand pulled Joanna closer to him.

"Is it still sick, baby?" alexander asked with a worried tone.

"Didn't you feel weird about your mother's words? he forced Nick to make sure you were, did he do that to you?" joanna asked with a frown not answering Alexander's question.

"Look, it must hurt a lot, baby!" sahut Alexander did not answer Joanna.

Alexander saw patches of dried blood on a bed sheet, the former opening of Joanna's membrane.

"Darling, we have to get married!" alexander brought Joanna into his arms.

Joanna did not answer Alexander, she just let Alexander clutch himself.

"I've ordered Nick to investigate who put stimulants into the wine I drank at the party, maybe Mama did, but we need evidence to ask my Mama!" alexander stroked the innocent back of Joanna.

"Oh!" it turns out that Alexander had given Nick directions to investigate the matter last night.

Yoana's feeling calmed down, after Nick's investigation was successful, there would definitely be other clues to check.
