Alexander did not know why he was so frightened to see Jack trying to harm Yoana, his heart racing to see the hard water thrown towards Yoana.

It would make Joanna suffer, just as she suffered from her injuries.

And, Alexander is also afraid that Joanna left because she was hurt, just like her parents who left her because of trauma with the accident they experienced.

When he was only twenty years old, the horrific event was still evident in his memory.

Their car crashed into a road barrier avoiding a truck that was speeding from the front.

And their car slid into the ravine, shards of car glass ripped his face, from the temple to extend into his jaw

Very sick, very deep tears, make him a weak man, and secretly cry himself and so often shut himself up.

His parents were traumatized, and went into seclusion away from the hustle of the city, to an island far out of town, traumatized by driving and being on the streets of many of his vehicles.

Two years of recovery, finally Alexander who runs his father's company, fighting for his own help Nick as a believer.

Joanna felt Alexander's embrace getting tighter on her body, until she found it hard to breathe.

"Master, I can't breathe!" yuana Gumam.

"Oh, sorry!" quickly Alexander let go of his embrace, his face flushed red.

Alexander retreated, then looked at Joanna's hands and the rest of her body to make sure that she was not hit by the hard water.

"I didn't get hit by Mister, all that water was thrown down!"

"Good, Come! let's ask Jack why he wants to hurt you, let someone clean up this room!" alexander said, then walked to the door.

Joanna followed Alexander towards the basement that was separated away from the Mansion.

When viewed from the outside, it was just an ordinary warehouse to store items that were not used anymore.

They entered the warehouse, and walked to the middle of the warehouse room to the stairs that lead to the bottom floor of the warehouse.

Joanna followed Alexander from behind, along the stairs looking dark, but as soon as she got to the lower floor the atmosphere looked bright with some lights on.

In the corner of the room Jack sat on a chair, his hands tied behind his back.

His face was drowning, there were several Bodyguards standing guard there.

Alexander approached Jack, then stood right in front of him, looking at him intently.

"Why do you want to harm my personal assistant?" asked Alexander sharply.

"No sir, that's someone who sent it to Miss Joanna!"

"lik! tell me! why do you want to harm my assistant!!" alexander snapped in a loud voice.

Plakk!

One slap landed onto Jack's cheek.

"How dare you glare at me, you've been so trusting as my subordinate, it turns out that you've tried to be insolent in my residence, and even dared to try to harm my assistant, if I get back what evil you've done, I'll eliminate you forever!" alexander said sharply and coldly, his face looking so dark with fury.

"Master!" call Nick from the stairs, he looks so rushed with an anxious face, and his eyes look straight at Jack.

Nick handed Alexander the files of his investigation, and his gaze was still sharp.

"It turns out he wants to kill you sir!" sahut Nick's.

"What?!" all of Alexander's subordinates who were in the lower room were shocked to hear what Nick said.

"Suckers! you deserve to be killed too, you want to kill your master, how presumptuous of you!" shouted a Bodyguard Alexander, and thrust one of his fists into Jack's face.

Jack grimaced in pain getting a bogeman from Alexander's bodyguards.

Alexander's hand trembled reading the results of the laboratory check, the water in the mineral bottle provided during the meeting contained illegal drugs that would make someone hallucinate.

It turned out that someone wanted to drive himself crazy, and the intent of his goal was unknown.

Alexander's body almost collapsed, otherwise Yoana swiftly held his body.

"Master!" Joanna hugged Alexander's body trembling in shock knowing that she was someone's target to eliminate her life.

"Nick, take care of Jack, I'll take Mr. Alexander, he needs rest, he's weak, you don't feel sorry for Jack, he's a cunning and cruel man!" sahut Yoana to Nick, then lead Alexander to get out of the basement.

"Well Miss, leave it to me, I'll make him confess his deed!" nick replied before Yiana climbed the stairs with Alexander.

With a slow step, Alexander followed Joanna's hand to get out of the warehouse.

Joanna took Alexander into the man's room, led him to sit on the sofa.

"I'll get you some water, sir, sit here quietly!" yuana patted Alexander's hand gently.

"Yohana!" call Alexander.

"Yes, Master!" yuana looked at Alexander.

"Let's go, I'm lonely.My life is shit, I'm a worthless man!" murmured Alexander sadly.

"No sir, you are a precious man, you deserve to live a happy life, to be loved and to love someone, you are a warm man, someone will love you so deeply and fear losing you, he said, don't be discouraged, sir!" sahut Yoana in a attentive tone, then sat down near Alexander.

Joanna clasped Alexander's hand with both hands, cupping Alexander's large hand in both of his small palms.
