Chapter 18

Aiken quickly went into the forest to meet Alice. There Aiken saw Alice sitting on a large rock, staring at the sky from a large hole above the cave. Aiken approached Alice and sat down beside her.

"Am I late?" ask Alice Aiken.

"No really. Welcome to."

"Sorry, there was something that had to make me stop long enough."

"I understand."

"Are you sure of your decision? Are you sure you want to make me forget you?"

"Carely sure. But I'll try to be sure!"

Aiken took the master of her ear and gave it to Alice. Alice received the ear cuff.

"When the Hollow is normal, then the supernatural creature will most likely not come again."

"Goodoo. Then, what are you gonna do with that ear cuff?"

"I'll channel the core of the magical creature's power into the Hollow."

Alice approached the Hollow door. As the ear cuff approached the Hollow door, the ear cuff immediately gave off a green glow. The light slowly formed a large circle which then surrounded the Hollow door.

"Aiken, before I go. I want to thank you, because you've helped me. When the power core of the magical creature has been channeled into the Hollow, your memory will return slowly."

"Either. I also thank you. You're helping the earth, too."

"Yes! I will miss you so much. Even if you'll forget me, but I'll always remember you."

"Yes. I'm sorry if I have to forget you. You are my dear friend. May we meet again and be friends as we are today."

"Friends, yeah. But.. I consider you more than a friend!"

"A-pa are you talking about?"

Alice smiled at Aiken, she approached Aiken and touched Aiken's face gently. "I love you, Aiken! This is how I felt when I first met you."

Aiken's face flushed slightly, of course. Just this time she got a confession of love feelings from a girl. And the girl was a goddess spirit.

"I'm sorry... "

"It's okay. I know that you only think of me as your friend. I understand that."

Alice approached Aiken's face, and she kissed Aiken's lips. Aiken was surprised and his face flushed slightly.

"Maybe it could be said this is our first and last kiss."

Alice walked back slowly, her body beginning to be transparent. His body began to disappear.

"Goodbye" said Aiken smiling at Alice.

As the Hollow and Alice's doors disappeared, Aiken began to have blurred vision. And he collapsed, he fainted for almost 15 minutes. When he regained consciousness, he could no longer remember Alice. But his previous memories started to return.

"Why can I be here?" Aiken held onto her head which felt a little dizzy.

As Aiken was about to leave the cave, he saw a new green pearl. Inside the pearl is a form of the element dendro (green plant).

"This, what? Do I just take it home."

Aiken left the cave and also he brought the green pearl stone with him. He kept the pearl in a special box when he arrived at his apartment.

"Somehow I feel like I'm no stranger to these pearls."

Not long after, the sound of his apartment doorbell rang. Aiken went to open the door.

"Alice? Why come? Don't you just not get a place to stay?"

"I got it! I live in an apartment here too, downstairs on this floor."

"Huh... do you really have no idea to live anywhere other than this place?" ask Aiken.

"I have a contract with you. So, I should always be close to you."

"By the way, today the tumben of the supernatural does not exist. What's up, huh?" alice was confused.

"Why should you be confused. You should be happy when the supernatural is no more."

"But." Alice's face began to be sad.

"That means our contract is coming to an end. And when that contract expires and I release that contract, then you will... "

Alice suddenly hugged Aiken tightly. "What's up. You why?"

"Aiken, I'll cook your favorite meal!"

"It's okay. We're going to have dinner today," Alice happily went to the kitchen and started cooking.

Aiken went inside his room, cleaning up his room that looked messy. When he was not cleaning his room, he accidentally found a photo. In the photo is a girl who is about 12 years old with brown hair and blue eyes with hairpins on her head.

"This, who?" thought Aiken, he seemed to not recognize the photo of the girl.

Alice enters Aiken's room when she finishes cooking. "Who is that cute little girl?" alice asked and made Aiken surprised.

"I don't know."

"Heh... You don't know but you kept the photo?"

"I accidentally found it."

"Try to remember again. Who knows if he's your childhood friend or if he's your brother."

"I still can't remember the girl in this picture."

"If you don't remember don't force it. Let's have dinner!" Alice held Aiken's hand and pulled her hand out of the room.

At the dinner table, there are many favorite foods Aiken. "Why do you have to cook so much?"

"No papa. Once in a while."

They both enjoyed dinner together. After that, Alice cleaned the dirty dishes and dirty glasses and washed them.

"Are you sure you don't need my help?"

"Yes. I can do it."

"Who is the girl in the picture? Why did I keep the picture?" thought Aiken.

While in his room, Aiken looked back at the photo. He was trying to remember who the girl was. But he still can't remember it even though he tried hard.

"Aiken, can I come in?" Alice was at Aiken's doorstep.

"Come in" Alice went into Aiken's room and sat down beside Aiken.

"You see that picture again?"

"I want to remember who he is. But why can't I remember?"

"Don't force yourself to remember. Maybe you'll remember for yourself."

"Looks like you were right. By the way, what's up? Do you need anything?"

"No. I just want to be here for a minute."

"Oh yes. Thanks."

"Thank you for what?"

"You've cooked me dinner."

Alice smiled faintly, then she hugged Aiken. "Yes, you're welcome."

"A-what? Why do you always hold me."

"I just love to hug you."

"By the way, do you know about SR-class demons?"

"Devil SR class?"
