Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CCCLII Chapter

"Nii-chan," I said to Haruki and Izumi who were standing at the door of the Palace, "are you ready?" Haruki turned to look at me who was walking towards him.

"Did I make you wait too long?" I asked back, "you did, indeed" Izumi replied, stepping back to leave us.

"What about your shoulders?" Haruki again asked, moving both legs after Izumi, "it has improved, all thanks to Kou," I said along with them.

"Where is Uki? You didn't bring it?" Izumi asked, her head turned towards Haruki who was walking beside her. "I left it to Luana, I can't do anything dangerous by taking it with me" Haruki said, looking straight ahead.

"Heh," Izumi said softly, Haruki turned back to look at her, "what's the matter?" Ask Izumi. "Nothing, just ignore my attitude, my sister," Izumi smiled slightly before looking straight ahead.

"Nii-chan, where do you want to take me?" I asked, the two of them still set foot without flinching a bit.

"You'll find out about it soon, Sa-chan. They've all been waiting for us" Haruki said, increasingly speeding his footsteps away.

The horse I was riding slowly followed by Haruki's and Izumi's horse that had walked in front of me. I looked at some of our Knights who were pulling corpses that were lying in the middle of the road.

The distinctive smell of blood really filled the air around, even the walls in some buildings did not escape the splash of blood. "How are things?" Haruki opened his voice, my eyes turning back to him who was talking to Eneas, Gritav and Arata.

"I have returned to purify the water that is here from the poison, so our troops can drink it, nii-san," said Eneas looking at him, "what about you Arata?" Haruki asked back.

"I have ordered my men to bring out the food supply they have stolen. But that," said Arata a little stalled, "I understand what you mean," Haruki said back to him.

"What about you?" This time his eyes turned towards Gritav, "I have ordered my men to watch over the prisoners. There's nothing to worry about, sir," Gritav said back to him.

"Good, now take us to the place of execution" Haruki said again, Gritav slightly nodded before the horse he was riding turned and walked away from us.

I took my horse after them, my eyes widened slightly as my eyes fell towards the towering pile of corpses. My eyes were turned back, towards our Knights who were still moving shoulder to shoulder collecting the corpses of the remaining enemies.

"Hime-sama," a male voice came into my ear, "what is Arata?" slow down, almost half a whisper.

"Are you sure you want to come with us? I mean," asked Arata back to me.

"You're the best, Hime-sama," he said, I turned my head towards him, "thank you. You guys are just as good, too" I said, staring straight ahead.

Gritav's horse leading us to a standstill, Gritav got off his horse and walked up to Sanjiv who had stood back against the line of Knights behind him.

Sanjiv turned his head towards the Knights, some of the Knights turned to walk away. Intermittent, the Knights came back again by pulling a line of men whose hands were shackled in wooden handcuffs.

Our Knights were moving to whip the man who was shackled earlier when one of them stopped the footsteps. The whipping sounds of the Knights were getting clearer as one by one the prisoners knelt before us.

"What should we do with them?" Sanjiv asked, looking at Haruki, Haruki still silently did not respond. "Execute them all, don't leave one!" Haruki gave the order followed by his two eyes which slightly glanced towards the prisoners.

"Damn it! Lowly humans like you, do not deserve to live in our Kingdom!" Shouted one of the prisoners, I stared at the blood flowing at the end of his lips.

My body was stunned as I glanced at the huge black shadow passing beside me. A black, tall man walked past us. The man carried a wooden club with a large barbed iron at the end, "he was one of my men," said Arata, smiling as I glanced back at him.

The man stopped his footsteps next to the prisoner who spoke earlier, his hands raised the big baton up and swung it very strongly towards the man.

The head of the man who was a prisoner earlier, was destroyed instantly when the weapon belonging to Arata's men earlier hit his head strongly. The grip of my hand on the harness that tied my horse grew stronger as the eyeballs of the man leapt out.

Turning my gaze toward the other prisoners, they curled up with their heads bowed to the wooden handcuffs that fitted their arms together.

I looked at some of our Knights who had been standing beside the bodies of the prisoners, The knights of our army raised their swords and swung their swords at the necks of the prisoners kneeling beside them.

One by one the prisoners fell to the side as our Knights pulled their swords from the necks of the prisoners. The bodies of the prisoners occasionally floundered, among them even hitting wooden handcuffs that stuck their arms to the ground until the wooden handcuffs were slightly crushed by it.

I glanced at some of the residents who were hiding in our eyes, some of the children who were hiding there were crying hysterically followed by the cries of the father who accompanied their cries. "Nii-chan," I said quietly with a trembling voice.

"This is Hime-sama's real war," Arata's voice rang out again, I thrust my head back towards him, "The Prince is still kind enough to only kill the remaining enemy Knights. Another kingdom, even slaughtered all the people who lived in the Kingdom that he attacked."

"Little children, or even women did not escape their abominations, and that is the world we live in today. Being naive, it will only kill our own troops later, so don't do it Hime-sama," he said back, this time he returned my gaze.

Arata took his eyes off me again, looking at the breath he let out, "at least, we have been a little kind to them. And plant it, in you, Hime-sama," Arata continued before he moved his horse forward.
