31. Thirty One

Ellie walks out of the lecturer's room after David's hasty departure. To be honest, he wondered what David wanted to talk about.

The girl chose to go home instead of taking classes, but it was too late. In addition, his face that was swollen after crying earlier did not want him to show his friends.

After ordering an online taxi from his mobile phone he is now waiting on the sidewalk in front of the campus. Not long after a car approached him after making sure the car was the taxi he had ordered earlier. Ellie got into the car and slowly the car moved away from the campus.

It was still noon when he got home, not going straight to his room Ellie chose to go straight to the kitchen. Looks like he needs something fresh to cool his throat.

Put the bag on the dinner table then he opened the refrigerator, saw the fresh red tomato fruit his heart was moved to make tomato juice. After making one glass of her favorite tomato juice, the girl sat on the bar table chair that was in the kitchen.

His mind floated back to the scene some time ago when he was kidnapped. Feelings of fear and sadness sprang up.

"Have you gone home, son?" ratna's voice surprised Ellie who was daydreaming.

"Mama want to go to the boutique later to the supermarket shopping needs are exhausted. Did David go home?"

Ellie rushed to her room on the second floor. He opened the closet and chose clothes that are suitable for street wear with his mother-in-law.

Sleeveless dress peach color small flower motif with knee length and knitting cardigan white color is the choice. After a quick shower, Ellie looked a little more mature with natural makeup.

After confirming his appearance once again in front of the large mirror in his room, he rushed out of the room not forgetting the small tote bag to complement his appearance.

"Come on Mah, Ellie's ready!" he said to Ms Ratna who was busy playing her phone.

"Are you ready?"

"It's over" Ellie said with a sweet smile.

Now the daughter-in-law and in-law were busy chatting in a car driven by Mr. Udin. Ellie just found out that her in-laws have a clothing boutique business in one of the shophouses.

They have reached a fairly large boutique and have three floors of it. Boutique that provides a variety of clothes for women and men.

A saleswoman greets them and looks down respectfully at Ratna and Ellie.

"Good day Mother" greeted the beautiful girl kindly.

"Siang, oiya please gather the others in my room huh. There's something I want to tell you." Ratna said to the girl.

"Let's go to my room on the third floor." Ratna told Ellie.

Ellie nodded, looking around the boutique, fascinated by her in-laws boutique. The interior is different from other boutiques. The atmosphere of nature dominates in one corner of the room even there is gurgling water flowing from the upper stone wall.

The bottom there is a small and elongated fish pond, several pots of live plants are also there. It was so soothing to the eye that was looking.

All the boutique employees had gathered in Ratna's room, seven women and one man standing in front of the desk.

Ms. Ratna sat on her great chair and Ellie stood obediently beside her.

"I want to introduce my daughter-in-law who is none other than David's wife. Her name is Ellie" Ratna's mom took Ellie's hand.

"Hello sister all greetings know me Elliana used to be called Ellie" Ellie opened her greeting voice in a friendly manner.

"Hello kaak!" sahut officer simultaneously.

After that the employees returned to work and also Ms Ratna was checking some reports on her desk.

Ellie was sitting on the couch in Ratna's room waiting for her in-laws to work. He played his cell phone while waiting.

"El, if you are bored you can look at the clothes below. Maybe there's something you like, just take it's okay." said Ms. Ratna.

"Yes, Ellie just wait downstairs, Mah!" sahut Ellie's.

Ellie went downstairs and looked around for some clothes hanging neatly on the shelf. Sometimes he sees the price of bandrol. "It's pretty cheap too and it's good the collection is here" Ellie said.

About thirty minutes to wait, the in-law finally came down. "Is there a dress you like, son?"

"Eh Mah, is it over?"

"Udah. Where's Honey? Is there a dress you like?"

"Totally?"

"Beneficially Mah" Ellie smiled.

"Let's go shopping"

"Come on Mah"

It was almost night time, David got out of his car he got into the house with his tired face.

The house looked quiet, he walked straight to the dining room. "Where is everyone Bi?"

Aunt Siti who was arranging the dining table with the dinner menu replied gently. "Sir is in his room, if the lady and Ellie's mom were shopping with Mas this afternoon."

"Oh" replied David lazily. "Make me sweet tea Bi, I want to take a shower first" he continued.

"Well, David" replied bi Siti.

After David went upstairs to his room, Ellie and Ratna arrived. Their hands are busy carrying bags full of daily necessities.

"Mrs and Mommy are home?" ask bi Siti.

"Here, this is Bi please save it" said Ms Ratna while giving a bag of groceries to bi Siti.

"Bi, did David come home from earlier? ask Ellie.

"Barusan Mbak, this was asking for tea"

"Oh that, here Bi let me just bring it to the top of the tea" said Ellie as she grabbed a tray from bi Siti's hand.

"Well, Ellie go to the room first!"

"Yes Nak"

Ellie rushed upstairs and into her room. He saw David who had just finished his bath taking clothes from the wardrobe. The man only wore a towel wrapped around his lower body.

"Mas, I'm sorry I just got home from shopping with Mama" Ellie put a tray of tea on the table.

"Yes" David answered flatly. He did not even look at his wife.

Ellie felt strange with her husband's flat attitude not usually the man behaved this way. She helped bring her husband's clothes. Ellie walked up to David "I helped you get some clothes?"

David turned to him for a moment "No need, I can do it myself." David put on his shirt and was about to open the towel to put on his pants. Ellie hurriedly turned her body embarrassed to see her husband change.

David smiled slightly and quickly changed clothes. After fully dressed he steps up to Ellie and hugs her from behind.

"Oh, oh my!" exciting Ellie. She breathed the aroma of her husband's soap freely. "Mas... Are you mad I went without permission first? I forgot to tell you first, sorry I did!"

"Dear, no pa-pa, you went with Mama. But next time you say yes to me if you want to go."

"Yes Mas"

David was still hugging Ellie from behind, the man buried his face in Ellie's neck for a moment. "Bathletes there, you stink!" David was still reluctant to take off the hug even though Ellie was struggling a little.

"Yeah but let go first Mas, make a bath but in kekepin mulu huh."

"Just five minutes, this is how it used to be"

"Hem said it stinks, but-" Ellie did not continue because it was the same as the sound of knocking from the room door.

"Mak Mas awaited in the dining room!" bi Siti's voice from outside.

"Iya Bi, be undaunted" Ellie said and tried to escape from her husband's embrace.

"Huh hobbies really bother people!" david's grumbling is upset.

Ellie chuckled and immediately went into the bathroom. "That tea is on the table, wait for me!"
