14. Remembering the Ex

Late at night David just got home, he immediately went upstairs to his room. He sat on the edge of the bed, pulling his phone out of his pants pocket.

The first thing he saw after entering the password was the chat application. Seen in the top row of unopened chat is the name of the contact Girl & Girl & & ️

Well apparently he kept Ellie's number with my maiden name. Looks like the scent of bucin has been smelled.

The corner of her lips pulled upwards forming a smile, Ellie sent him a message.

My girl is 'round's 'round

tomorrow we go see my parents?

are you sure we're really getting married?

David seemed to think for a moment before replying to the message. His smiling face turned a blind glare away.

His mind drifted, he remembered Bianca. The longing for his ex suddenly appeared, but the next minute a heartache appeared. The woman left him for no apparent reason.

Flashback...

London three years ago..

David parked his car in front of a cafe, he rushed down after the car felt perfectly parked.

His eyes were busy looking for the existence of Bianca when entering the cafe which was quite crowded with visitors at that time.

A beautiful blonde girl raised her hand into the air "David, I'm here" she shouted.

David immediately approached Bianca who was sitting in the corner of the cafe. He pulled a chair and sat down in front of the girl.

"I'm sorry I was so late the road was jammed. Have you been waiting for a long time?" said David.

"No pa-pa, eh Vid I want to say something to you" Bianca replied.

"What by the way?" david Sahut.

Bianca seemed to be thinking, she squeezed the end of her shirt. Guilt is enveloping.

"I'm sorry, I want us to take care of all this. We just break up" said Bianca slowly while looking down she could not look at David.

David still did not respond, he looked at Bianca with a sharp gaze like an eagle ready to pounce on its prey. "Look at me" he said later.

Bianca reluctantly raised her face, her bead of eyes instantly sat in line with David's netra. Without a sign of tears self-melted wetting the cheeks.

"You repeat those words again" said David very flat but firm. Anyone who heard it would be scared.

"I'm sorry David, I have to go now. Sorry!" Bianca stood up from her seat and ran out of the cafe.

Bianca didn't bring a car, she took a taxi waiting for her on the side of the road not far from the cafe. After the girl got in the car, the taxi quickly passed away. David was a few minutes late, when he got there the taxi had passed away at high speed.

David returned with his broad strides to his car which was not far from it. He followed the taxi, he deliberately did not get too close for fear of being caught.

Surprisingly in the taxi in addition to the taxi driver and Bianca there was another man sitting in the rear passenger seat. Of course the man was sitting next to Bianca.

"Damn, are you cheating on me, huh?" furious David ignited emotions, he gripped the powerful steering wheel of the car. "Can we see if I'm wrong?" continued.

But unfortunately David's car was suddenly stuck in a red light at a fork in the road. The taxi he was following had already escaped the sign. And turn to the right very quickly.

"B*****, watch out for you later!" David hit the steering wheel in front of him. He cursed in the heart.

From that day on, he never saw Bianca again. The woman was swallowed by the earth disappearing without a trace. David had been trying to find him all over London, but Bianca was missing.

The phone was still in his hand, he picked it up and typed something back to Ellie's message.

After pressing the enter button, he put the phone on the nightstand. David stepped into the bathroom to clean himself up. After that he lay on a soft mattress before long he closed his breathing sound regular. David slept in his sleep.

Ellie rubbed her eyes many times, she could not believe what she had just read. A message from David that he believes he will marry Ellie.
