"So we were once a force in the Military Academy, yes you could say best friend. Everywhere always together even run for a date also together. Hahahaa" said Mr. Ahmad while laughing widely.

"Yes right, and that was about thirty-five years ago. It's been a long time" Mr. Wahyudi looked away considering his youth.

Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Wahyudi are retired army TNI. They were friends while studying military together.

After both passed, the two lost contact due to differences in assignment placement. Mr. Wahyudi was assigned to the capital of Jakarta while Mr. Ahmad returned to his hometown of Sidoarjo.

Mr. Ahmad had an accident while on duty in the conflict area at that time. He accidentally stepped on a mine which resulted in his leg being seriously injured so he had to amputate both. That's why he had to sit in a wheelchair until now. Fortunately, his life is still safe.

Mr. Wahyudi looked sad to hear the story of his best friend, he patted the shoulder of Mr. Ahmad to give strength.

The day is getting noon, Madam Dewi invites her guests to lunch. In the middle room is ready to be presented a variety of side dishes, fruits and drinks.

"Yes, Ellie's got a handsome guy who never told us - did we?" Karin Ellie's first sister is talking.

"Yes yes, that's fine. We are your sister without learning we have been born a genius" said Rena smiling proudly.

"Well that's right" Karin also replied while carrying a dirty glass back.

Ellie shakes her head, her two sisters are always compact. Their age is only two years. Karin was in the eleventh grade of High School while Rena was in the ninth grade of Junior High School.

Mr. Ahmad invited his guests to perform the prayer duhur congregation at the mosque precisely to the left of the middle room. He asked David to become a priest. David accepted the request of his future father-in-law.

After they finished praying, they gathered again in the guest room. They will discuss about the initial purpose of meeting these two families. None other than Ellie and David's wedding plans.

The atmosphere was silent for a moment, Ms. Ratna and Ms. Dewi looked at each other and smiled. Ellie looked down, she squeezed her own fingers interlocked.

David looked very calm, his countenance serious. Netra brown looked straight at Mr. Ahmad. He was trying to convince his future father-in-law with this attitude.

David wishes he had the blessing of his father Ellie. He was ready to marry this girl, maybe too soon but honestly he had fallen in love with the girl.

"I initially disagreed, when my wife told me that something had happened to you both" Ahmad said he looked at Ellie and David alternately.

"Ellie, Karin and Rena are my girls, as much as I can have to keep her from a man who has bad intentions towards her. Ellie is currently in college and living away from the family, I just hope she can take care of herself but the reality .." pak Ahmad quietly did not continue his speech.

"You how's El?" asked Mr. Ahmad alternately he stared fixedly at the face of his daughter who looked nervous and anxious.

Ellie's excited, hopefully Mr. Ahmad doesn't realize it.

The atmosphere was silent again, no one spoke. Ellie and David are looking forward anxiously waiting for Mr. Ahmad to speak.

"Alhamdulillah" mother Dewi and mother Ratna compact said.

David smiled with relief, and from that moment he looked at Ellie as if he wanted to hug the girl. If only there were no parents there.
