Returnees

After asking Nathan a few questions about the murder case, Vivian then left the place to re-investigate the unsolved case until now.

Now in the room only left Nathan and Alia who make the atmosphere between the two become a little awkward.

Nathan who saw Alia from earlier was just silent and did not say a word feeling bad what else as the woman continued to lower her head.

"So what do you want to say to me?" Nathan asked as he opened a little bandage wrapped around his hand.

Alia immediately raised her face and seemed hesitant to answer Nathan's question. "Look, I want to apologize for causing you an accident. If only I hadn't asked so much back then maybe you wouldn't be what you are now..."

Nathan smiled at the words of Alia. "Don't think it's not your fault, it's all because I'm less careful when driving when it rains..."

Although quite relieved by the answer given by Nathan, Alia still seems to blame herself and thinks that all this is because of her mistake.

On the other hand Nathan wanted to release the medical equipment installed in his body because it was feeling better, but it actually made Alia panic.

"What are you doing, don't let go!" Said Alia while holding Nathan's hand who wanted to release the infusion.

Alia then put Nathan back in her bed and called the doctor to check on him.

While Nathan he was confused by Alia's protective attitude to him and not as usual.

"I'm not sick anymore and want to go home. Besides, the cost in this room looks like it's going to be very expensive, Alia..." Nathan Said.

The look on Alia's face instantly became irritated and she put the phone back on with enough force. "Be quiet and don't move any minute the doctor will come to check on you. You don't think about the hospital fees because Marsella already bought this place!"

Hearing what was said by Alia immediately made Nathan shocked and he did not expect if Marsella bought the hospital just for his care.

When Nathan was fixated a doctor and a nurse entered the room and checked his condition.

"How's the doctor doing?" Alia asked with a hopeful look on her face.

The doctor smiled and said, "Yes, he is much better now and can go home in a week, miss..."

Alia who heard him seemed relieved, but not with Nathan who wanted to go home soon because she felt would be very bored if a week had to lie in bed only.

"No-no I want to go home right now, look at me no longer!" Nathan said as he moved his hand.

Seeing Nathan's child-like behavior Alia then grabbed hold of the young man's leg and made him moan in pain.

"Well all right, stop whining like a kid!" Alia said as she pressed back on Nathan's leg once again.

Alia then talks to the doctor about Nathan's recovery while the man can only grumble.

Nathan's gaze was shifted out of the window and he thought again about the incident that occurred when the shooting occurred.

Nathan still does not know why there was a group of people targeting his family and want to kill the three of them at that time.

Not long after talking to the doctor, Alia saw Nathan who was daydreaming while staring at the window.

"What are you thinking?" Alia asked while fixing the blanket used by Nathan.

Alia nodded her head in understanding and then tidied up the remnants of the previous food that was on the waiting table.

Seeing Alia who was out to take out the trash, Nathan grabbed his phone which was on the table next to his and put on the earpod.

"Echelon are you still active?" Call Nathan to the system he hasn't been in contact with for a long time.

"I've always been active Mr. Nathan and welcome back..." Reply Echelon.

"There's something I want to ask you, how's my house doing now?" Ask Nathan.

"You don't have to worry sir, I've hired some trained helpers to take care of the house as long as you're not there..." Echelon.

Nathan nodded and immediately released the medical equipment that was in his body ranging from respiratory aids to infusions.

For him the hospital was no different from the prison and he obviously did not want to linger there let alone for a week.

With his legs still a little sore Nathan walked out of the room and wanted to escape from the hospital while feeling alert.

Nathan's plan did not go as smoothly as he thought when his steps stopped when he passed Alia in the hallway.

Nathan who was caught by Alia immediately laughed awkwardly as soon as he got a sharp look from the beautiful woman.

"I can explain Alia, you know it's not that I don't feel at home in the hospital. So let me go home okay?" Nathan said as he leaned against the wall as he still felt pain in his legs.

Alia who saw Nathan's wish sighed and nodded. "Well, wait here for a second I want to get my things in the room first..." Reply Alia before she goes to take her things that are still in the room.

After a few minutes Alia returned with a suitcase and a wheelchair that left Nathan confused.

"Why do you have a wheelchair, I don't need one. Look I can still stand normally!" Nathan said as he showed his footsteps.

"Are you sitting in this chair or staying for another week in the hospital?" Alia asked who immediately made Nathan immediately comply.

Alia and Nathan then walk through the hospital hallways before entering the elevator to go down to the first floor because they are currently on the thirty floor.

In the elevator Nathan thought and felt confused with Alia who wanted to bother to take care of him even though he did not ask for it.

"Alia, why would you bother to help me when we have nothing to do?" Ask Nathan.

Alia did not answer the question given by Nathan because it would be a shame if he told her the truth.

Until the elevator stops on the floor, Alia does not say a word and pushes Nathan's chair away from the hospital.

On the side of the road, Alia stops a taxi for Nathan and pays him and leaves the man to the taxi driver.

"I have to go back to the restaurant to help my father, after arriving home don't forget to contact me..." Alia said before the taxi that took Nathan away.

Nathan there could only be speechless and not think too much about Alia's attitude which he thought was a little strange. The most important thing right now is to go back to her house.

"Sir, please go to the Gardenia housing later stop at the number one house..." Pinta Nathan who was replied by a nod by the taxi driver.
