18. Black Chicken

Raina sat on the steps as her hand reached for a dipper made of coconut shells. He watered his not-so-dirty feet before he climbed into the house so very quiet, there are no saodas in the living room with only two old chairs made of rattan and one plastic table that has worn out color is eaten by time.

"Indo!!!" raina shouted in a tone that was not too high making the sound of steps from the kitchen sound.

"What's wrong?" saoda asked who appeared while holding the plate.

Raina shook her head with a smile. He walked into the room and closed it tightly. Raina leaned her body against the surface of the door and sat down with her sad look.

Raina's eyes were shocked. He gulped his saliva staring fearfully at Saoda. I don't know why every thing Saoda does always frightens him.

"A-a-what's going on Indo?" asked Raina who was so very nervous.

"Dragon's home! I want to go outside."

Saoda turned away making Raina frown in astonishment. Where the hell is he going? Raina stepped in Saoda's steps, now down the steps.

"Where is the indo going?"

Saoda.

"I want to go to the market" he replied and then stepped back to leave Raina who was still silent.

Raina was now silent as she stared at the departure of Saoda who now continued to step. Not long after Saoda stopped his steps and turned to look at Raina who immediately opened the door tightly shut.

Raina resuscitated her body to the surface of the door. His heart beat very fast while occasionally his chest rose and fell. What will Saoda buy in the market while the kitchen supplies are still complete.

Raina peeked into the wooden window slit to find Saoda who had now stepped away from home.

A few seconds Raina was silent and clashing with her mind quickly Raina stepped towards her room and grabbed the black shawl that was in her closet. Raina covered her head and stepped down from the house to follow Saoda.

Raina was very curious where Saoda went on the day that it was noon, where there was a market at 11 noon like this.

Raina immediately held her breath as Saoda's sharp gaze looked seriously at the trees where one of the trees was Raina's hiding place which was still trying not to make a sound.

Not long after the sound of steps back was heard making Raina slowly peek behind the trunk of a large tree while staring at Saoda who was a bit away.

Raina breathed a sigh of relief. It was fortunate that Saoda did not approach the tree and found himself here. What should Raina answer if Saoda asks him why he is in this place.

Raina slowly followed in the direction where Saoda was stepping. Raina frowned looking strangely at Saoda who did not cross the road he used to go to the market.

"Will I buy chicken?" raina asked herself.

Raina's eyes were round, this could be a problem if she was not inside the house when Saoda returned home. Raina quickly ran through the outskirts of the garden and forest so she could get home quickly.

Raina ran up the saplings of the stairs without watering her rather dirty legs. He doesn't want Saoda to see the water and find out that Raina just came out of the house.

Raina tightly closed the door and ran inside her room to store her black shawl into her wardrobe.

Raina turned her head back to look at the window making her approach with cautious steps. Raina peeked at the street in front of the house that looked silent, no Saoda stepped to go home.

Raina daze trying to find Saoda's figure. I don't know why he hasn't even come home.

Raina sighed until Saoda was seen stepping from a distance making Raina frown in surprise staring at Saoda who was carrying nothing. Wherever one of the black chickens Raina clearly saw Saoda bought.

Saoda watering her feet and then stepping up the house made Raina gasp in shock when she found the door suddenly opened.

"What's wrong?" asked Saoda who was now inside the house while looking at Raina who was still shocked.

"Em, where did I-indo come from?" asked Raina who had now risen from her seat.

"I told you I'm from the market."

Raina was now silent looking at Saoda who was now stepping into her room. At that time Raina could breathe a sigh of relief, which meant Saoda was not suspicious of her if she had followed Saoda as she went out of the house.
