17. Question

In the same place now Erni is silent staring strangely at the attitude of Raina who is very sensitive when talking about the creature named Parakang. This event not only happened once but has happened several times.

"Walina!!!" yelled Erni who was running after Raina.

"Raina, why are you leaving?"

"I want to go home," he replied without looking at Erni who was already walking beside him.

Puang Tuo smiled. He looked back at the mosque and looked back at Raina.

"May we talk inside."

"A-a-I can't," Raina replied then she stepped away leaving Puang Tuo who was now sighing.

"I know what you're hiding young man."

Raina's steps stopped. He immediately turned his head to look at Puang Tuo looking so very serious.

"What did Puang say?"

"I know what you're hiding right now."

"I'm not hiding anything."

"You lied young."

"I'm not lying."

Puang Tuo smiled for a moment. The smile that looked so very thin frightened Raina. From her smile, Raina could see that Puang Tuo was indirectly laughing at her.

"I know what you're hiding and it's always weighing on your mind. Don't take anything from me, young man. I know everything."

"A-a-what does Puang know?"

Raina's eyes were round in surprise. How can Puang Know about Parakang. Did Puang Tuo feel suspicious of him after he had time to ask about Parakang to Puang Tuo.

"Does Puang Tuo feel that I am a Parakang?" raina asked making Puang Tuo smile.

"I didn't say it like that, but rest assured I can smell the scent of Parakang from your body."

Raina was silent, she did not know what to say.

"You'll have to act faster to overcome this retard otherwise you'll be the target."

"I can help you get out of this."

Raina sighed then poked her lips.

"It seems that Puang had mistakenly," Raina replied.

Puang Tuo smiled. He stepped closer to Raina a few steps that are still silent.

"I have never been wrong in guessing especially if about the figure of the creature called Parakang. I know everything, so there's no need to lie."

"I've been a Parakang hunter for 50 years. I know everything. I know in terms of smell, traits and even the existence of Parakang."

"Tell me everything and Inn by Allah I will help you."

Raina didn't know what to say and do this time.

"Say!"

Raina looked up at Puang Tuo who spoke again. What need he told everything to Puang Tuo, but Raina was afraid that bad things would happen to Saoda if he told everything.

Raina did not answer.

"Why did he say that? Who wants to ask for help from him?" ask Erni again who did not get a response from Raina.

Raina could only be silent yet, her mind was still thinking about all of Puang Tuo's words to her. What should Raina be now?
