Chapter 68. SINCERITY
"I'm sorry, Mich, I don't mean not to assume your presence, but the weight in my heart makes me realize you're too good to me and I'm too much of a disappointment to you."
"May there be a woman better than me and worthy to be with you later."
When Michael had explained everything to Milley, that was when the inner war began to be felt. Michael's kindness makes Milley dare to ask permission for the last time to meet Dylan.
"Sister, may I ask you one thing."
Michael looked over and started looking at Milley.
"Say, what do you want."
"I-I want to go to Indonesia."
"For what?"
"That's it, I want to see Dylan for the last time. Aren't you the one who said that he and I just had an accident?"
Michael breathed out for a moment. There was a discrepancy shown to him. Somehow Michael's premonition says that something isn't good enough to let Milley go.
"Well, but you have to promise me not to cry or be disappointed afterwards, okay?"
Milley nodded happily, "Ready."
The gaze of both eyes from Milley made her freeze, but her smile made her heart happy. Luckily Michael gave it to him and was not angry.
However, one thing that makes Milley happy, Michael never makes him disappointed, it is the man who always supports Milley's steps. Therefore he did not want to hurt Michael by giving him false hope.
"Okay, then, I say goodbye. You get ready, maybe tomorrow we'll get the tickets."
"Good, brother. Thank you very much."
After Michael left, Milley sat weakly on his bed. He still remembers and prepares his heart if tomorrow he really has to return to Indonesia.
Milley held onto her chest which suddenly hurt. Not a relief that he got, but even something else is now suffering.
"Hopefully this decision is correct, I don't want to hurt anyone right now. Whether it's you or him. I love you like my own brother."
Milley saw Michael from his room, he could not hide the burden in his heart. Though the desire is only until he can see Dylan one last time, and after that he will leave.
Maybe after he could meet Dylan and see him happy, then he would open his heart back to others, and maybe it was Michael. At least when he starts a new relationship, he's ready.
🍂A few hours later.
After seeing everything now he prepared to take Milley back to Indonesia. Although he was already released from his father's contract and debt bondage, there was one desire to resolve his curiosity about Dylan.
"Whatever happens later, I hope you will be strong against it" Michael said, wiping Milley's head.
The fact that yesterday they had an accident and only he was in a coma while Dylan had amnesia made Milley want to prove the truth.
"For the last time I just want to make sure that you're happy, then after that I'll start a new life."
Milley who had finished packing prepared to leave immediately. Michael was waiting for his arrival at this time. Lena did not come home because her health was less supportive.
"Honey, I can only say that if you see the truth later, I hope you will love Michael wholeheartedly. He is a good and responsible man."
Milley looked down, he knew it, but hopefully everything will be fine.
