Chapter 5: Entering the Great World
Today is the day I left the orphanage and live in The Fame Academy's boarding school. I'm so nervous. His Majesty then shouted at me, "Are you not missing? Have you prepared the artist card?" "It's mom!!" I rushed down to the living room. There the orphanage kids hugged me. Her Majesty also hugged me while saying some motivational things for me. I checked my stuff again. The clothes got into the suitcase. I brought the artist card. I've been wearing a uniform. Orchard came up to me and gave me his cookies. I gladly accept it. She then praised my appearance, "The variety you wear makes you even more beautiful. I feel like I've met an artist!" I laughed at Orchard's statement. But if you look around, the uniform I wear is not like a school uniform in general. My uniform arguably has nicer materials and can be more flexible to move around.
Shortly after, I heard The Fame Academy bus coming to pick me up. I then say goodbye to Mulia Ma'am and the orphanage children. "I would definitely pay a visit to the orphanage if I had time." Her Majesty smiled and said, "Life starts from now on. May you survive and pass all obstacles." I nodded then I entered The Fame Academy bus.
Arriving on the bus, I was very happy to see Crush apparently. Crush who realized myself immediately shouted, "Amethyst, hello!!" I then headed towards Crush to sit with him. "You're welcome too?" Crush asked me. "Yes, I'm 5 lucky kids." "What?! Same dong. I'm also one of the 5 lucky kids!!" I nodded happily to Crush. Shortly after, I heard a thumping sound. I looked beside me and there was Clarity too. He then said arrogantly, "Hmph. You two of the 5 lucky kids are thrilled to be in The Fame Academy. However, if you've been slapped by reality, I'm sure you won't last long." Crush puffing cheeks. Jeez his pouting face is so cute. "hey-H. But this lucky one of us means that the jurors of that time saw potential in us." The Clarity just laughed at Clarity's response. I looked around and found Gray. "Hello Grey!!" Gray who was aware of my call turned to me. She then replied timidly, "Eh, ha-hello." I smile. "You're still using that old-fashioned guitar?" Suddenly Clarity asked Gray. "Yeah. Although this guitar looks old but durable." It is true that the guitar looks outdated and many scars that can be seen. "You can play guitar?" I asked Gray. "Yeah. I love playing guitar." Crush, Clarity, Gray and I ended up talking on the bus waiting to get to The Fame Academy.
After waiting, we finally arrived at The Fame Academy. It turns out that there are more new students than I thought. "I guess only the 55 of us are students of The Fame Academy." Clarity then spoke, "It's not just us. These are the children who come in by paying. They were also children who entered because of a written test." Oh yeah, I just remembered. The Fame Academy accepts students with 3 systems. The first system is auditions. Auditions are paid but usually not very expensive. I just happened to get an exclusive audition for free with some other kids. The second is to register and pay. This is the most expensive way. The third and final test is a written test. The written test was free but I heard that the written test was very difficult. Every bus we take is led by OSIS. This OSIS will guide us during OSEK. We are divided into groups. Since we were on the same bus, Crush, Clarity, and Gray became one group.
Shortly after enjoying the view of the dorm with Crush, suddenly OSIS' brother called out. Apparently they invite us to see in what kind of school. I still remember some things on the 1st floor and the location of the 1st class dance room. There are 5 floors in the school. The 1st floor will be used for 1st grade children. The 2nd floor will be used for 2nd grade children. The 3rd floor will be used for 3rd grade children. Meanwhile, the 4th floor has a large stage. Then, there is also a backstage room for all the artists who will perform on the stage. The last one on the 5th floor is the ballroom. A place to hold various events. I see a lot of talented and amazing people. Honestly, this is starting to scare me a little. It makes me feel like I'm so small. A young bird that still can't fly into the high sky and I hate this feeling. I promised myself that later I could be as big as these people.
We were then invited to the Cafeteria building. Or rather All You Can Eat restaurant. I've never seen a complete cafeteria. Rather than say Cafeteria is more mending spelled out an all you can eat restaurant. From healthy foods to unhealthy foods, everything is there. Very appetizing. Suddenly, someone familiar approached me. "Hey you're not the kid who asked me where the room was at the audition?" Yeah, she was the first person I met when I wanted to audition. "It's right, brother." I responded. Suddenly Crush came up to me and he looked very happy. "Oh my god!!! Are you Tory?!! An actor and model who appeared in the comedy series 'Bakakan Family'?!!" The man nodded while laughing. I then explained to Crush that he was the first person I met when I wanted to audition. Crush immediately spoke envy, "AAAA!! Amethyst you are so lucky to meet one of the celebrities from this school!!!" If I'm honest I've never seen the serian 'Bakajan family'. So I never knew this guy. I have to respect him because he is my senior. Yes, he does look pretty handsome. After introducing all the rooms in the school, we were all escorted back to the dormitory to rest. School starts on Monday and it's still Saturday. Therefore Crush and I took advantage of this opportunity to enjoy more service in our dormitory.
