Blue Scandals

Blue Scandals
08 - Dark side

The atmosphere of the school is still crowded even though there are already some students who go home. Some members of the Isis still clean up the rest of the class meeting event that took place lively.

Lilia looked in search of someone. Suddenly someone slapped his shoulder.

“Doorr!”

Lilia turned her back and found Reza smiling broadly. The girl's eyes focused on the corner of Reza's injured lip.

“Tumben lil nyariin me at school,” Reza said with a smile.

“That, need plaster not?” lilia asked as she pointed towards the corner of Reza's lips.

Reza looked surprised and laughed. “Need possible? If you are given plaster I will use.”

Lilia looked annoyed. “Bersihin his wound, medicine at UKS.”

Reza laughed again. “What's up, you worried?”

‘Hahhh, again the way of speech changed..’ Lilia said in her heart.

Lilia looked at Reza with an annoyed expression. “You were worried about never feeling ya?”

Reza laughed again. “Lili, I already told you not to be so good to the guy, later can ge er.”

Lilia remained silent and grabbed Reza's hand and gave him the wound plaster. The brown-eyed girl immediately left without saying anything more.

Reza only let out a long sigh while smiling amusedly.

‘Why does it keep showing up? Kan I so ngarep more..’ Reza said in his heart.

Drrttt

“Where are you Za?”

“Mau to UKS.”

“Well you have pain?

“Ngak, want to UKS aja hehe.”

“Oudah if so I go first to -Melon-yes.”

Reza did not answer and immediately turned off his phone. His expression changed as if he had just realized something. He let out a long sigh as if he felt a burden suddenly disturbing his mind.

Carefully Reza slipped the wound tape behind the casing of his phone. The black-eyed man headed for the UKS room with a bitter expression.

...◇◇◇...

When she returned to class, Lilia saw Fani and Gavin not talking to each other and was busy with their phones.

“Fan, back now yuk, but want to stop by for snacks in Indoapril.”

“OK deh, anyways done all right. The rest who take care of children osis hehe,” said Fani cheerfully.

“You still have business at Gav?” school ask Lilia.

Gavin turned off his phone and put it in his bag.

“Still told class to take report Monday later.”

“Oh yaudah. Btw Gav, your jacket I brought first yes,” said Fani while laughing.

Gavin. The two girls immediately left the classroom after taking care of their luggage.

Shortly after that the class came and began to organize the room.

... ◇◇◇...

Reza stepped lazily into the so-called - Melon - hangout.

- Melon- is the name of a place to hang out like a traditional cafe with walls made of woven rattan.

The cafe is located on a hill not far from the center of the district. Approximately takes about 10 minutes if riding a motorbike from the town square.

The name - Melon - was adapted from the cafe owner's romance story. From the story that circulated mentioned that people who liked the owner of the place liked melon fruit.

“New dateng lu Za?” greet a teenager of Reza's age who was sitting while arranging r*mi cards.

Reza took the position of the most sidelines sitting after the stale bases greeted his friends.

“Eh I heard you were to UKS what? Pain again lu?”

“No, just this ngobatin,” said Reza while pointing at the corner of his lips.

“Oh yeah said you hit the upperclassman huh? Wkwkw” said Rion while laughing.

“Biasalah,” replied Reza lazily.

Soon after, there were a few other teenagers. The atmosphere of the cafe at the end where they gathered was very crowded. There were about 15 teenage boys.

“Yo Reza,” greet Gio while smiling wryly.

Reza only responded briefly. This time he felt uncomfortable in the association with his friend that had been going on since this Junior High.

“Weh I denger you beat up upperclassman until torn his mouth wkkwkw. Can't drink dong lu?” gio said while laughing.

“Gue skip first.”

“Cih is not cool.”

“Eh c*k, ono goods neh opo ora week iki?” (eh***no more stuff this week?) ask one of the teenagers wearing a grey t-shirt.

“Casual, ngko balding sir mrene,” (relax, later balding sir here) said Rion cheerfully.

All the teenagers seemed to be enjoying the afternoon activities. The smell of cigarette smoke that was immediately carried by the wind, the smell of strong liquor and the sound of laughter of the teenager enlivened the twilight that was soon to arrive.

The cards that moved from hand to hand and the pile of money in the middle decorated the big table.

Only a few teenagers were playing. Others just watched and sipped the liquor poured in small glasses.

Reza chose to move away from the crowd and closer to the center of the cafe.

The design of the cafe located in the hills is quite unique. On the front will look like an ordinary cafe ala village view.

In the west, there is another seat with a large table and a wall of woven bamboo that is only as high as the waist of an adult.

In the middle there are tables and chairs arranged to resemble a small bar. This place is often the seat of visitors who come alone.

“Not come back, Za?” ask the owner of the cafe and barista at that place.

The gondrong man laughed at Reza's reasoning. He knew it was just an excuse because if Reza really wanted to drink, he would still drink it in various ways such as using a straw.

“Already again Za? Home issues?”

“Wah mas, I've forgotten even now dyingetin.”

“Lho piye tah? Is there another new problem? Good means there is variety,” said the man while laughing.

Reza did not respond and asked something else instead.

“Mas, how do I get rid of people that Mas Nino likes?”

The gondrong man chuckled at Reza's question.

“Ya relain, think and consider the good things that he will get if I deketin or I jelahin.”

“Can mas faruin?”

The man called Nino let out a long sigh. “Yes is not hehe.”

Reza laughed without asking any more.

“So Reza nih again likes people tah?” ask Nino curious.

Reza smiled remembering Lilia. “Yes, but don't tell my friends mas.”

“Aman.” Nino had only first seen Reza's expression that way.

“It's already from SMP anyway mas, but I don't feel pantes aja,” said Reza in a soft voice.

Nino quite understood the meaning of Reza's words. The gondrong man knew Reza from childhood.

Their conversation continued until a bald man called the teenagers came.

Reza remained in his place and did not come back to his friends who were still gathered.

“Suwe nemen pack again teko neh,” (Over pack the goods just came again) said Rion protest.

“Sabar, p*lisi sing biasane ngawal even moved the task. New safety makeup rodo suwe.”

(Patience, p*lisi who usually controls even transferred. Looking for a new security a little long time).

“Halah kari said my father,” (It's just a matter of talking my father), said Rion while laughing out loud.

“Your father saiki play safe, dadi I kudu golek dewe.”

(Your father is now playing it safe, so I have to run myself).

“Yowislah piro iki kabeh?”

(Well, how much is this?)

The bald man mentioned his nominal and was immediately paid by Rion.

“I dino iki handing pak.” (I win a lot today, sir) Rion said with a laugh.

Mr. Bald just responded as necessary and then immediately left.

Reza was still relaxing while eating a snack in front of him. He breathed many times.

At first Reza was shocked to learn the shocking facts of the area he lived in. More surprising when knowing the responsibility of teenagers who have consumed ob*t-drugs and alk*hol since Junior High.

The general public will not know that. People definitely think that the school students his activities are only school and occasional sightseeing. But the reality is much different.

Adolescence increasingly heading in the negative direction due to many factors. Reza understands that because he himself is also not much different from his hanging out friends.

The problems of parents who impact on the child and the search for identity without assistance from adults make a child choose the road carelessly.

Reza let out a long sigh, the slow music made her chest feel tight.

This cafe-like place is actually often a place for ob*t transactions of illegal drugs commonly purchased by minors.

The fact remains well hidden and none of the ordinary visitors are suspicious.

The cafe has indeed received special protection from p*lisi individuals in charge of checking the cafe with special permission.

Although fairly secret, actually many who already know some law enforcement actually play around with the law and it is quite known to many people, especially young people.

Reza and the bald man actually know each other, only they both agree to pretend not to know each other because they both have their own secrets that they want to keep.

The bald man was one of ‘kurir’ in one of the dark businesses his grandfather had.

Of course Reza's grandfather didn't know if his grandson knew the dark business he was running.

Actually in the drug business, Reza's grandfather has a rule that prohibits ‘kurir’ from selling these drugs to minors. It's just that it is often violated by most of them.

The punishment of the violation is of course a state penalty arranged in such a way by the officials aka the city that holds a territory. But of course many ‘kurir’ that play safely.

Reza immediately finished his snack when the wall clock had shown at 20:00.

“Bro, I went back first yes,” Reza said to his friends who are still playing cards.

“Yah mama's son has returned aja still afternoon,” said Rion while laughing.

Reza held out her middle finger expressionlessly.

“Be careful on the road bro,” Gio said without turning his head.

Reza immediately left the cafe and headed to his house.

The bustling night atmosphere was noticeably different once Reza reached her home.

Knowing there was a motorbike he knew was being driven, Reza turned on the motor again. He still felt uncomfortable meeting his father even though the incident had passed for almost a year.

His father has apologized and has been kind, but sometimes his father's attitude deteriorates again if it is influenced by liquor.

Reza would prefer to stay at his grandfather's place or at the house of one of his friends when the father was at home.

Reza actually wants to leave the house and follow his grandfather so that his life is more secure. It's just that Reza is still worried about her mother who does not want to part with her husband.

Reza's feelings become heavy given the messy state of his family. Therefore Reza felt he did not have the right to like Lilia who lived well with her family who was also well.

Reza wanted to get closer, the black-eyed man felt comfortable when near Lilia. It was just that at the same time he was afraid of Lilia knowing her dark side and becoming resentful towards him.

It's just that despite trying not to get closer, the feeling of longing that always wanted to see Lilia was actually getting stronger.

Despite planning to stay away, Reza did just the opposite. Yeah, that human feeling growing up is like a vehicle with broken brakes. The black-eyed man did not know how to stop liking Lilia.
