Only Dreams

Anna went into her house right at dinner time. After storing her bag and jacket, Anna walked into the dining room and there was already Thomas and a dining table filled with food and candles. Unusual dinner, romantic dinner.  Thomas stood up and walked over to Anna, looking at her while wiping off some of the hair covering her face. His fingers reached Anna's chin, staring, Thomas lifted Anna's chin and pressed his lips against her.

"We've never had a romantic dinner, so I made this for you" whispered Thomas after kissing his wife.

Anna smiled sweetly. "I'm so hungry."

Thomas then opened a chair for Anna to sit on, and they began to eat the prepared dishes on the table.

"I've been thinking about it" Thomas said on the sidelines of dinner. "How about we go on a honeymoon?"

Anne was surprised to hear that. Thomas is full of surprises. How could a mafia have such a romantic attitude.

"Why? You don't want to?" thomas asked, because Anna didn't respond to the honeymoon plan.

Anna shakes. "Of course I want to. Where are we on our honeymoon?"

"Do you want to go somewhere cold or warm?"

"Um.I want to go to a warm beach," said Anna while drinking the wine.

"Deal."

A person with a hoodie walks on dark streets at night without any illumination. Behind the bend there is a large land on the edge of the lake. On the vast land were seen several gipsy trains lined up and in the middle there was a bonfire lit with people crowding the outskirts of the campfire.

The crowd then stared at the arrival of a stranger in his neighborhood. The man opened his hoodie and stared at the leader of the Lee Brothers group. That man was none other than George.

"Who's the Lee Brothers gangster leader?" ask George.

Before long a person with a sharp gaze stood up and walked over. "Do you want what?"

George looked at the skinny man before him. He knew this guy wasn't the one he was looking for.

"Say I want to see the chairman!" henta George.

Before long, the big tall man with a dry cut on his cheek stood up and approached. He told his men to get out of George's sight.

"What brings you here?" ask the man.

"I'm here to offer you something" George said.

The man clucked. "I'm not interested in your money."

The man then turned around to leave George.

"What about Thomas Scott's head?"

The man stopped when he heard Thomas Scott's head in return. The result of the fight was Lee Brothers did manage to steal all the money and weapons The Blinders, the brothers, but The Blinders managed to retaliate by giving the Lee Brothers to the police for possession of a stolen weapon from an armory during the war.  To this day the Lee Brothers are still a grudge against The Blinders. Revenge makes them exist. But they are still looking for a loophole to be able to conquer The Blinders again after they do not have Grace.

The man turned around and looked at George.

"What do you want?" ask the man.

George smiled in anguish.

Thomas who was no longer able to stand was dragged by two people he did not know. His head was wrapped in a black cloth, his legs were tied back and he did not know where. His face and body were filled with wounds and blood from the blows. He felt his chest start to tighten, there might be a broken rib.

BRACKET

After being dragged, Thomas was dropped to the ground. His body was limp, unable to stand. But someone pulled him and made him sit down.

Sret

The black cloth covering his head opened, light started to enter and pierced his eyes. Slowly Thomas opened his eyes and looked around. Looks like an armory. Around him stood people with very unfamiliar faces.

"Who are y'all? What do you guys want?" ask Thomas, weak.

Before long two men appeared carrying a woman in the same manner, dragged with their heads covered in cloth, and both arms behind.

"No! No!" thomas shouted as he began to recognize the figure behind the black cloth.

The two men stood only a few meters away from Thomas. The woman was dropped and then the cover was opened. The face was well known to Thomas.

"Anne.." said Thomas to see the woman who looked limp and full of bruises on his face.

Anne looked at Thomas with teary eyes. Thomas begins to rebel but the men of great stature immediately hold Thomas' body.

"Let go!" shout Thomas.

The man standing to Anne's left smiled in a slant, then pulled out a weapon from behind his suit and pointed it at Anne's head.

"No! No!" shout Thomas. The more he rebelled, the greater the power of those who held his body.

Anne cried, then looked into Thomas's eyes. "I love you,"

"DOR!"

Anne's body lay on the ground and fresh blood came out of Anne's skull.

"Yahoooooo!!!!!" thomas cried hysterically.

Anne awoke from her sleep when she heard Thomas delirious. She hugged her husband and tried to wake him up.

"Tommy, open your eyes!" exclaim Anne.

Thomas immediately opened his eyes and cold sweat flooded his body. Soon she looked at Anne who was beside her. Thomas scooped up Anne's face with both palms and examined her wife's face and body which looked fine.

"What's wrong?" Anne was astonished by her husband's behavior.

Thomas finally let out a long breath. "Dreams are just dreams..."

What a terrible dream. In addition to feeling the loss of his best friend on the battlefield, only this time he again felt the loss of his loved ones even though only through a dream. Thomas hugged Anne. The confused Anne can only return her husband's embrace.

"You had a bad dream?" whispered Anne, in Thomas's arms.

Thomas kissed Anne's head while not letting go of her embrace. "Nobody can hurt you. I promise."

Anne rubbed Thomas's chest. "It's okay, I'm safe with you."

Anne still felt Thomas's hunting heartbeat and irregular breathing. It was so terrifying that the dream was the first time he had seen Thomas scared like this.
