..."Legend of the Ghosts of Piyambak Island"...

Piyambak Island is a small island located in the middle of the ocean, two hours from Jakarta. Although it looks beautiful with its white beaches and clear sea water, the island is never inhabited by humans. Local people say that the island is haunted by terrifying spirits who want to demand revenge.

Why is the island of Piyambak never inhabited? According to legend, the island was once inhabited by a small community that lived from its catch in the sea. However, one day, the Japanese invaders came and made the island a military base.

Because the occupation had no way out, the islanders were forced to live there as slaves. However, they continued to suffer because there was not enough food and there was no way to send outside help. Eventually, some of the islanders died of starvation and disease. As Japanese fatigue came, the rest of the Japanese army executed all the remaining inhabitants before fleeing the island. And, legend has it that the katana who beheaded the victims were left on the island of Piyambak for wreaking havoc.

Since then, the island of Piyambak has never been inhabited again by humans. However, legend has it that the spirits of the dead are still there, and they continue to haunt the island. The local people never dared to live there, and only a few fishermen dare to enter this island to catch fish and there are only fifteen recorded tourists who visited this island since the last nineteen years.

Although there is no solid evidence of the existence of ghosts on the island of Piyambak, the legend is still believed by the local community. The island has always been considered a scary place, and only very brave people dare to visit it.

So, for those of you who want to visit the island of Piyambak, you should be careful and vigilant about anything that happens there. The island may look beautiful on the outside, but inside it may be spirits waiting to scare you.

Zico was shocked when he read this article, especially when he read it on Friday night. He did not give any information about this ghost legend. He remembered Kahar and Clara who so went to the island of Piyambak thanks to his advice. Now all Zico can do is pray for salvation for Kahar and Clara.

...****************...

In the evening Kahar and Clara are forced to enter the forest deeper than ever before, giving their mark on the pass. The more it went inside, the more the sounds of the animals sounded terrifying.

They feel very thirsty because the drinking water Kahar has spent this afternoon and they must immediately find a source of water to be able to survive. They continued to walk carefully, while continuing to pay attention to their surroundings. Fortunately the flashlights do not forget they are brought, armed with a flashlight that is a source of lighting they go deeper.

The atmosphere in the forest was gripping and frightening. Kahar and Clara felt like they were being followed by something they could not see. They try not to be too affected by the fear that continues to occupy their minds. They continued to walk quickly, while continuing to search for a suitable source of water to drink.

Suddenly, Clara felt as if something was amiss around her. He felt as if something was holding his leg, and felt extremely uncomfortable. However, Kahar felt nothing, and kept telling Clara to keep going. "Relax, there's me and my superpowers ready to protect you."

As they continued to walk, they finally found a settlement that looked like the former headquarters of the second World War era belonging to Japan. They were shocked, and felt unsure whether to enter or not. "I'm not going to put my foot in there" said Clara.

However, Kahar felt very curious, and finally decided to go in search of a water source there. Clara had no other choice but to enter and hold Kahar's hand tightly.

Upon entering the settlement, they found several houses that had been rotted and unkempt for decades. They also found some old weapons lying there. Kahar and Clara felt very uncomfortable with the situation here, and felt as if something was amiss. Flashlight continues to be directed to all corners of the house.

As Clara explored the rooms in the headquarters, she found a katana lying among the worn out weapons in one corner.

Clara doesn't know what to do, but she feels like that katana is the only defense she has here. Clara decides to take the katana unbeknownst to Kahar and take it with her as she continues to find a way out.

Suddenly, Clara felt as if she saw something beside her. He turned his head, and was surprised to see an apparition that looked like a Japanese soldier wearing a Japanese imperial war uniform. He looked very gripping, with eyes that looked blank and a face filled with gunshot wounds.

"Kahar! There's something beside me!" clara shouted in panic.

Kahar turned his head towards Clara, and was surprised to see the ghost sighting of the Japanese soldier who was walking trying to grab Clara's shoulder. Kahar pulls Clara's hand and shines through the exit.

"We need to get out of here right now!" kahar yelled as he pulled Clara out of the settlement.

They ran quickly, while continuing to look for a way out of the settlement. They ran in no direction, looking back, the settlement was nowhere to be seen. Clara could breathe a little.

"You used to say you weren't afraid of ghosts" Kahar said still with a breath of breath. Clara tried to hold her cry, but could not. He was crying in the middle of a tree. "We're gonna die here."

"Hey, there's your brother who has power here" Kahar said. "I think the ghost was just our hallucination of dehydration."

Kahar comes to Clara's arms and calms her down. He reminds Clara that they must find drinking water that is worth drinking, and must continue to fight for survival on this island at least until Saturday when an old pack of pirates come to pick them up.

Clara was finally able to become calmer. After stopping crying, they continued their journey to find a source of water.

They increasingly entered the forest, whether it was at what time because their mobile phones were both left in the tent.

"I brought this." Clara shows a rusty katana with a sheath. Part of his sword looked twisted and torn, while part of his sword stalk looked chipped and eroded. The iron color looks faded and looks dull.

It is clear that this katana has undergone many battles and has been deemed unfit for use again. However, even though it looks outdated, this katana is still Clara brought.

"You sure you want to bring that old thing?"

"Yes," answered briefly Clara noticed her katana.

"You have to take good care of it, we're focused on finding a water source."

The journey continues, Kahar feels they have walked into the middle of the forest and the night is really overbearing dark. Clara walked next to Kahar with a careful grasp of the katana. Kahar is tired, there is no energy left. They walked in vain. Clara had also lost hope.

"How about we go to bed for the night?" clara said sitting in the doldrums. Without rejection. Kahar sat down next to Clara.

In the middle of the dark forest, there was almost no light at all. Only a tiny bit of moonlight was able to pierce through the deep darkness, making a small part of the forest look like a world isolated from the outside world. Unpleasant and strange smells were smelled from the air, as if the forest itself gave off such a smell.

In the middle of the dark forest, fear and anxiety continue to haunt the minds of Kahar and Clara. They did not know what would happen tonight, and did not know what would happen if they fell asleep unattended. However, they had no other choice but to continue walking and try to find the spring and return to his tent.

Kahar got up from his seat, enough for Kahar to give up. He shouted in the middle of the forest, and swearing moved in all directions like a madman. In his rage, something fell out of the bag. Compass. The compass that the old pirate gave him. Kahar noticed the compass, the needle wasn't pointing North.

Kahar remembered something. He stared at the compass with hope. Kahar wears a necklace and chants a spell. Once again, Kahar changed. Clara could not walk anymore.

"A bad idea goes into the woods at night. We should have a drink tonight." Kahar carried Clara's weak body. He ran at a speed that saved energy.

"Where are we going? back to the tent?" clara asked in a whisper. Kahar didn't answer, he just peeked at Clara's forehead.

Kahar ran towards the East of the island. His steps were so sure. I don't know what Kahar is going to think Clara.

"We're getting home." Kahar put Clara's body. In front of the two men was a lake illuminated by moonlight.

"How can you?" ask Clara put the katana.

"This compass, this compass looks broken. But actually this compass needle points the direction of the thing we really want."

Kahar enters the lake. He tells Clara to sleep alone by the lake, Kahar will look after Clara for the rest of the night.

"You also need to rest" said Clara.

"Just calm down, with this source, I can last all night."

Good night, Clara fell asleep tired with the katana. Kahar from within the lake kept looking at Clara just in case.

The night was long and exhausting.

...****************...

This morning was cool and fresh. The chirping of a canary accompanied Clara who tried to wake up from a deep sleep. The sun just came up looking beautiful. The smell of moist soil and vegetation also filled Clara's nose. Morning in Piyambak is calm and peaceful. Clara momentarily forgot the creepy events of last night.

"Good morning sleepers" said Kahar from the lake.

"Let's go back."

"We're back Saturday." Clara was crying again. This time, Kahar laughed. Kahar told me about last night he was practicing non-stop in this lake.

"That's good, that's what we're for."

Finally at noon, they returned, passing through the twisting direction avoiding the Japanese headquarters. The distance was indeed further, but they were relieved to be able to get a supply of water. Clara can breathe. When their tent is seen.

In the middle of their tent, their cell phone was located with dozens of messages from Zico.

"You didn't meet any Japanese ghosts, did you?"

"tag."

...****************...

Saturday morning came to visit. As promised, the pirate old man arrived on time. His ancient ship is good news for Clara who is starting to get hot.

In the middle of the sea, Kahar returned the old man's compass. "Thank you for this magic compass."

"Disgraceful? it's just a broken compass" the old man replied with a laugh.

Clara who started seasick only fell asleep in the remaining two hours of travel. Kahar senses that Clara is falling ill. It was fortunate that the sea did not go berserk today, so calmness was their home-deliver.

Two hours passed faster, the three of them arrived off the coast of Jakarta. "I'm so happy to be able to help you guys" said the old pirate while helping to take down the luggage.

"Thank you very much, I feel bad. Just answer me, how much do we pay?

"The price is your happiness, hohoho." The boat left the port in a dark fog.

When they set foot in Jakarta, they were both awaited by Zico and Isma. At the port, Zico hugs Kahar when he finds out his friend has returned safely.

"You succeeded and survived. You didn't meet the pirate ghost either, did you?"

Kahar and Clara pale stale did not answer.
