Apocalypse Monster

Apocalypse Monster
Chapter 212: The Ruins

Natan called Kuro and climbed on it, it had been a long time since he had boarded Kuro, or even arguably never. From the beginning of having, only Ayumi and Erina were riding, whereas she, was just running beside him.

"Keep running forward, ignore all the attacking monsters, let the skeleton face it."

Kuro roared loudly making the ground slightly shake and the surrounding dust rose as the wind swirled around him. Then he dashed forward, but before he ran, he unleashed a spear-shaped attack that split the monsters.

Natan held the black cloth she used for the mask so as not to fly in the wind. "Mom didn't say specifically, just said that I should come here."

"If it's just monsters, I can ride Dungeon Version 2.0. Are there any treasures here? I've found thousands of booty, but none of them are satisfactory." Until now, the equipment worn by Natan has not changed at all.

Natan no longer spoke, only keeping quiet with Kuro who took her.

From time to time, monsters would continue to attack from underground, but the skeleton guarding it instantly killed the monsters. Dragons in the sky also occasionally shot out burning fire breaths.

"Am I lost?" Finally, after Natan sat on Kuro for an hour, he wondered because what was around him was just a barren land with nothing.

"I think I'm teleporting wrong."

Natan had already deployed many skeletons, and one of the perspectives taken from the skeleton, it was FNB Stadium where the 2010 World Cup took place. Although, now it has become a ruin due to the attack of various kinds of monsters that exist.

As Natan kept thinking, she suddenly heard a strange voice and asked Kuro to stop. The voice came from underground, he asked Kuro to run around.

Kuro obeyed the order. He retreated hundreds of meters, then ran back.

"The sound of this land is different, as if there is a hidden underground chamber." Natan jumped down, then rubbed the hot barren land.

If his hearing was insensitive, he would not find any difference. Even sometimes, normal people cannot distinguish the sound between ceramics that have cement dough underneath and those that do not exist.

"Digger." Natan ordered the skeleton to dig up the ground. As for why not ask the Skeleton Earth Mage, it was because it could result in an earthquake-like shock, and perhaps what was inside would be damaged.

Right after he ordered the skeleton to dig, suddenly his intuition told him that someone was watching him in the dark. The darkness here is certainly not in a dark place, but is hidden.

Natan tilted her head, then she saw a blue light that passed through her. That blue beam formed an arrow, darting towards the skeleton.

Bang out!

The arrow exploded when it hit the skeleton's head, making the skeleton get a slight scratch. A burning fire burns the ground, making the temperature rise higher.

"Haha! I got it!"

Suddenly there was laughter. The large stone, far enough away from Natan, changes at one of its corners, looking darker, as if a shadow were cast.

A man in brown skin looks like he is sunburned, wearing a camouflage uniform and holding a bow. From the beginning, he hid here waiting for passing prey, but after seeing Natan, he diverted the prey he usually sought, and chose to kill humans.

But the laughter did not last long. When he saw the smoke begin to dissipate, he saw that all the skeletons of bones were intact, staring at him with blue eyes like flames, and the humans he had attacked had already disappeared.

"I know we never met, but you attacked me. You must know the rules of the world, dare to attack, dare to take responsibility. Dare to kill, means ready to be killed."

"Tung—" Did not have time to finish his sentence, suddenly the head had already left his neck, blood spread and the view changed from the sky and the ground. Then at the end of his vision, he could see the man wearing black clothes that he had originally attacked earlier.

Nathan, who had just killed, had not undergone any change in his expression. He had often gotten sneak attacks all along, on the grounds of trying his luck, robbing, wanting to level up by killing fellow Players.

Nathan took out a chemical bottle filled with red liquid. Just as he wanted to remove the corpse as usual, he suddenly pulled his hand again when he saw that there was paper tucked in the belt of the man he had just killed.

He crouched down, looking at the paper scrolls that seemed to come from ancient times. He picked it up, directly saving it into the Inventory, but there was something unexpected.

[Call: Item ??? not allowed to be stored in Inventory, Space Bag, or similar]

Nathan was a little surprised, then he understood why this fellow did not keep it inside the S.p.a.ce Bag despite having it.

He unrolled the scroll tied with a black cloth. When he opened it, he did not understand anything written there, all the ancient letters on Earth, he knew, but still did not understand what was written.

"I'm going to ask Annaya to translate it, she should know this."

Natan suddenly fell silent while talking about Annaya, for some reason Ainsley's shadow that always appeared suddenly in front of her, re-appeared in her mind.

"She's a bitch, but she's an information warehouse. There's no him, I'm very hard-pressed to find out the world's information."

Natan took out a backpack, put it on in a coat. This bag was very small and thin, and worn inside the coat, it did not look like it was wearing a bag. He kept an unrecognizable item, but he felt that there was rich information in it.

Natan looked up at the place where the explosion came from or the place where he was attacked earlier. He walked there while pouring a very strong acidic liquid on the corpse lying down, making his body disappear along with all the equipment he was wearing.

He walked there, the skeleton was not bothered by the attack earlier, they were still digging quietly, and the hole dug deepened.

Until it was finally over 100 meters away, Natan saw the sand beside the excavation begin to descend and disappear slowly, entering a small hole the size of a thumb.

Not long after, the hole widened until it was quite passed by a large bus.

Natan jumped down, it was very dark here, and he still could not feel the land. Up to a few minutes, he landed on hard ground with a slight stream of water behind him.

He took out a small flashlight capable of illuminating the darkness within a radius of 100 meters.

Nathan's eyes opened wide when he saw what was in front of him. It was an ancient building like the Pyramids, except there was a staircase on one side.

At the top, there was a large altar with the skeleton of a tiger-shaped beast standing up, pouncing on the prey.

Then he looked around, finding many human skeletons that were prostrating facing the skeleton of this tiger. There are tens of thousands.

Natan began to feel an uneasy feeling in her heart. He was inside the basement, he saw many human skeletons, and each skeleton carried a strange, pressing atmosphere.

"Did Mom ask me to come here for this? Skeleton, do you want me to raise them all? But, for what? My abilities are limited."

Natan took a deep breath, she ventured to go towards the high altar. He felt that there was a special call up there, and had some influence over his Job Necromancer.

He didn't know what it was, but his intuition said there would be good things.
