Apocalypse Monster
Chapter 101: Chongqing City
Natan landed on his knees while carrying the Assault Rifle directed at the monsters in front of him. He has used sound absorbers so as not to be too noisy that is able to attract the attention of other monsters.
With just one bullet shot, Natan managed to kill the monsters.
Natan stood up after successfully landing well and killing monsters. Then he continued walking while calmly opening the path, he did not panic at all and did not run in this situation. Even if he had trouble and did not have time to change the magazine, he only needed to turn into a shadow.
His left and right were many monsters that kept on approaching, trying to grab his clothes and even biting him from behind.
"Too long." Natan took out the Lightning Spear from the Inventory List. Equipment Lv.80, but has high durability after re-forging.
Natan stuck the Lightning Spear on the ground while continuously shooting around to open up the space where it was in the middle of the Zombie Wave.
When he had fired several tens of bullets and only one bullet was left, Natan shot him into the sky. Then he activated his ability, Bullet Rain.
Bullets began to fall like rain, though not too dense and numerous.
Natan picked up the Lightning Spear that was stuck in the ground while flowing Mana inside, there was lightning that began to appear on the spear.
He swung his spear in a way to twist his body. "Curved Shot!"
Booms! Booms! Booms!
Lightning struck as he swung the spear and the falling bullets began to scatter in all directions far enough away from Natan, which not long after falling on land, the bullet emitted a red glow.
The red light continued to expand and there was an orange laser-like beam from inside the bullet, then it exploded extremely violently with a burning flame.
The fire grew bigger with the black smoke rising, and there was a foul smell that was very stinging even though he was wearing a face mask.
Natan turned towards the east, he took advantage of this chaotic state to escape the Zombie Wave while continuing to look at Mapping to check it out.
"Replace the magazines."
Natan replaced the ammunition that had been used up, then he continued to fire bullets forward. Not just shooting, he shot right in the head of the monster so that it could be killed in one attack, it was very easy to know the existence of monsters in thick smoke.
Appraisal.
The Zombie Waves in front of him continued to decrease, but not on the back of him who had a higher level.
Natan took out a fire grenade made of petroleum that was put in a bottle and there was a wick coming out. He lit a fire on his axis, then threw it behind.
Booms!
Grenades of fire broke out, resulting in widespread flames that burned the monsters, reduced the blood and killed them.
"Shadow Movement."
Nathan's movements increased rapidly like a black shadow running from the scorching flames. He continued to run at his full speed while continuing to throw fire grenades backwards, killing the Zombie Waves.
Until a few minutes passed, he managed to kill all the monsters and left the scene safely.
Natan is currently sitting by the lake in the city park to cool down his body which feels very hot after staying long enough in the fire, although he did not have burns on his skin.
His body was already soaked in sweat and there was a pungent smell of smoke all over his body, but that was defeated by the fishy and foul aroma.
Nathan decided to enter the lake.
"So it was too risky" said Natan who was soaking on the edge of the lake.
A dozen minutes later after entering the lake, he finally came out of the lake water to bask in the hot sun so that his body dried up. He only wore shorts above the knee without wearing any other gear.
Nathan stretched out his hands and raised his head as his eyes closed. "Very comfortable. The pungent smell is gone too, I can't refract myself to that foul scent ..."
Natan paused for a moment with her eyes open, then smiled lightly and spoke again, "After all, Calista really likes the scent of my body, so I shouldn't let my body get dirty or hurt."
[Calista] [Natan! Don't ignore me!]
The interface screen appeared before his eyes, there was a message from Calista that was very angry at him. He pressed the phone call button on 'Message'.
"Finally you called me!"
Natan chuckled when she heard Calista's angry voice, but it sounded very beautiful in her ears. "Did you miss me? I've only been leaving you for eight hours."
There was no reply from there for a while, there was only a grumbling sound that sounded annoyed. Calista spoke again, but not in a loud and angry voice, but softly.
"It's boring here, I want to see you as soon as possible."
"Isn't there a monster attacking? You can hunt monsters to improve your level and experience."
Natan shares a vision with Kuro and Kori that he accidentally left behind in the Armonia Guild, and he sees many monsters attacking. But, Calista did not leave, from the morning until now just stayed in the room.
"The monsters here aren't very strong .." Calista lamented.
Nathan smiled thinly. It turns the calling system into a video call, which can only work if the other party agrees.
It didn't take long, only he changed the calling system, Calista immediately agreed.
Natan could see Calista sitting on the edge of the bed, her head bowed to the other side and her eyes explained the loneliness. "Didn't you allow it?"
"But ..."
"I'll fulfill all your wishes when I get back."
Calista looked up at Natan through the video call, her face was no longer grim and looked very happy, or rather like she had planned this. "Promise!"
Natan was speechless, feeling deceived by Calista's expression. It was very desirable for him to come back and give him a small punch on his forehead. "Alright, I promise, but if it's still within my reach. I can't do anything dangerous."
Calista smiled brightly in response to Natan's explanation. "No problem!"
Natan smiled warmly at the extremely beautiful Calista, then closed the call after quite speaking.
"I also have to get ready and get back on the move, I have to find a safe place before night" said Natan, who started wearing her clothes and hunting gear.

It had been two days since Natan left Longquan Mountain, only a few kilometers away to reach the center of Chongqing City. This was faster than the time he was targeting, as he did not want to spend too much time on the streets.
Natan always gave word to the people in the Armonia Guild who were waiting for him to return home.
After finishing making the call with Calista on the first day, they began to return to hunting to level up. Either hunt monsters that climb into the mountain or in the Dungeon.
This time he was in one of the buildings that still stood firm, although many glass-glasses that had been broken or hollow. He stood on the roof of his building, looking eastward using long-distance binoculars.
"What is it?" Natan saw a wall that was at least thirty meters tall, made from Earth Magic.
But the concern, not how the shelter was built or how many refugees there. He was very interested in the monsters that surrounded the wall, oppressing each other to try to climb up the wall.
"Far away enough." Nathan lowered both his hands.
"Maybe three kilometers from where I am. Sako TRG Mana can reach monsters within that distance, but not with this weapon I use." Natan sees the Assault Rifle AR-15 hanging around his neck.
Natan stepped back to leave the edge of the building, he felt it was not yet time to attack monsters or go to the shelter. He would attack monsters from a distance at night, and would go to the shelter in the morning.
For now, he wanted to rest after running for quite a long time and jump onto the building.
