MR Chapter 48: Heavy to go

Finished cleaning the clothes and items that he will bring home. Anne tried to contact Brian to say goodbye before he returned to Indonesia. However, his phone call was not picked up. 

" Brian where the hell is he? Tumben, on the phone not picked up!" annoyed Anne while trying to call Brian. 

" Anne, are you ready, baby?" call Mama Dira from behind the door. 

" Yes, a minute, Ma," Anne replied.  

Because Brian remained out of touch, Anne gave up and immediately walked out of her room fearing Papa would be angry for waiting too long. Outside, you can see Papa Ken, Mama Dira, and Seva who are all ready. 

" Because we're all ready, we're leaving!" tukas Papa Ken while dragging his suitcase. 

" Pa, wait!" prevent Anne from making Papa Ken stop his steps.

" What else is it?" asked Papa Ken with a cold face. 

" Can Anne say goodbye to Brian?" anne's permission was timid. 

" He's not home!" papa Ken who returned continued his steps.  

Seeing Anne who was still silent, made Mama Dira hold her arm and say that what Papa Ken said was right. Although Papa Ken does not approve of their relationship, however Brian has been taking good care of Anne while here. So, Papa Ken still has to thank and say goodbye before leaving as a courtesy. But Brian was not in his apartment. 

After hearing the mother's explanation, Anne felt guilty for prejudging her father. He thought that the Papa had said so Anne wouldn't see Brian, but it was wrong. 

Before entering the elevator, Anne stopped her steps, then looked back at the door of her heart-covered conqueror's apartment.  

" Goodbye, sister" Anne said in her heart. 

" Anne, come!" 

Anne immediately entered the elevator.  

During the journey to the airport, Anne kept staring at the Window, as if bidding farewell to the city she had been living in for several months. A city full of good, bad memories. The city that made Anne find her love, and the city that taught her many things. 

Despite having no freedom, Anne still feels that her life is much different than before. At least, he had the experience of living away from parents, and also siblings. Initially, Anne intended to persuade her father to ask permission to finish his studies here. But in fact, before he asked for permission, he had been forced to go home because he was found to be in a relationship with his Adoptive Brother. So, the dream was only his wishful thinking.

" You're heavy getting out of here Anne?" whispered Seva sitting next to Anne. 

Anne pulled the corner of her lips, forming a smile that looked forced. A smile to cover up the true feelings. 

" Don't you already know the answer, why are you still asking? "

Seva could only sigh. Yeah, he does know that Anne must have been hard to leave this town. Especially in such a sudden situation. Really, this incident must be beyond his reasoning. Plus, he had to leave a loved one without being able to say goodbye first. 

Arriving at the airport, the four of them immediately walked towards the departure gate. Since then, Anne kept looking back, hoping that her love apprentice would come to take her home. However, at the last minute before entering the plane, Anne saw no sign of the man. 

" Where are you, brother? Why don't you come here? I want to see you before we get far away!" murmured Anne in the heart. 

" Anne, come on," call Seva and pat Anne on the shoulder. 

" Sister, can we wait a minute to get on the plane?" asked Anne who still felt heavy to step foot away from this city. 

" Can't Anne, who are you waiting for anyway?" ask Seva. 

" Of course the love apprentice. "

Seva bobbing head.

" It seems that she will not come, "the seva greeting that made Anne stare intently at her. 

" Why do you think, does your sister know anything? "look at Anne. 

Seva shook her head." I'm just guessing Anne. Never mind, Mr. Ken will be angry if we don't go in right away, "take Seva with you.

Anne could only sigh heavily, and try to move her heavy legs to leave.
