Chapter 19: The Kasmaran

Eylaria was fast asleep, hugging Arlo's bare waist. Last night somehow they pounded each other and vent their desires, when they woke up in the middle of the night, they did it again and again as if there was no tomorrow.

Drrtt….

Eylaria's phone alarm rang, it was 05.45 am, he had to get ready for the office. His hand reached for the nightstand, picked up the phone and opened his eyes which were still very heavy.

“It's so sleepy...,” Complaints Eylaria who feels very tired.

“Sleep again, take half a day off..” Answer the man next to him who is also still closing his eyes.

Eylaria was instantly awakened, her mind repeating what she had done last night with Arlo. His sleepiness suddenly disappeared. He immediately moved from his bed and saw Arlo's body lying beside him and they were both naked.

“Yeahn...,” Say Eylaria panic.

“Why?” Arlo asked narrowed his still sleepy eyes.

“Sorry, we slept together..” Eylaria said making Arlo open his eyes and look at him in confusion.

“What do you mean?”

“I should have controlled myself. Really, I had no intention of sleeping with you, but, I also had no idea why I did it last night, I should have held it, held you back, held myself back.

“What are you talking about?”

“I don't deserve to be in bed with you, you must be sorry.?” Eylaria asked hesitantly. Arlo who quickly understood, immediately understood it, the woman was insecure.

Arlo immediately hugged Eylaria, burying the woman's head into her chest.

Days go by, Arlo and Eylaria go through their kasmaran days like a pair of lovebirds in love with each other.

“Where are you my honey?” Ask Arlo by phone from his office.

“In my office Boss..,” Reply Eylaria smiled.

“Come here...,” Command Arlo gently. This is not the first time Arlo has called Eylaria into his room to spend time working together.

“Staff will be suspicious if you keep this up... ckckck...” Tegur Nicolas at the sight of Eylaria and Arlo working together at Arlo's desk. Arlo smiled in response, while Eylaria blushed in embarrassment.

“Why don't we just move your work desk over here Ey..,” Nicolas Advice.

“Nicolas, this is why I like you. Immediately, move his workbench to my room.” Saut Arlo with passion and strongly agree.

“Isn't that overkill?” Eylaria's protest was not hearty.

“What invitation? Why don't I know?” Ask Eylaria.

“Invitation from Becker family..,” Nicolas replied.

“I'm not used to parties..” Reply Eylaria hesitate.

“I'll be there with Megan, if you change your mind, tell Nicolas, Okay?” Said Arlo without noticing the sudden change in the look of Eylaria's face.

“Hmm...,” Reply Eylaria briefly then follow Nicolas who is out of the room.

“I'll come with you..,” Eylaria said.

“Alright... Let me know if you're ready to be picked up..” Nicolas replied.

“Hmm..., thank you Nico...,” Eylaria replied smilingly, then immediately asked Nicole for help to order a salon and dress for her.

Saturday night, Eylaria, who had dressed up, was picked up by Nicolas at a boutique.

“You are so beautiful Ey...,” Praise Nicolas for seeing Eylaria's performance that night.

At exactly 18:50 before the core event began, they had arrived at the hotel ballroom. There were many high-class guests present, businessmen there were even some artists and models as well. Eylaria was flabbergasted at the excitement of the anniversary event.

“Invitation on behalf of Nicolas, PT. BLUE SEA,” Nicolas is passing his name on the guest list on the staff on duty.

“Please go to table number 5 yes Sir...,” The female staff replied smilingly at the good looks of Nicolas.

“Hmm... Hmm.., it seems that not only am I the beautiful one, you are also very handsome Nico. The woman's staff blushed to see you.” Goda Eylaria on Nicolas whom she already considered her own sister. Nicolas just smiled back at Eylaria.

They entered the table number 5, located near the stage. Eylaria's eyes looked for the figure of Arlo who should have already arrived there, but was still nowhere to be seen.

“Oh yes, let's greet Mr. Becker used to..” Take Nicolas when you see the birthday is near the stage not far from their seats. Eylaria followed where Nicolas was.

All around them were shocked to hear Eylaria extending a gift to Mr. Becker, including the unexpected Nicolas.

“Diaaa..?” Asked a young man who had been accompanying Mr. Becker's.

“He's new assistant Mr. Arlo's. Introduce, Eylaria, this is Mr. Shaun...,” Nicolas replied. Eylaria smiled politely down at the man whom Mr. That shaun.

“What gift have you prepared Nak?” Ask Mr. Becker reached out his hand but was immediately restrained by Mr. Shauns.

“Sorry, but we do not accept gifts directly. You can put it on the front desk.” Said Mr. Shaun was resolute.

“Ahh, sorry, I don't know.” Eylaria answered immediately lowering her hand.

“Wait..,” Mr. Becker.

“I want to see what gifts this child has prepared. Can you open it?” Ask Mr. Becker to Eylaria, the woman smiled and opened the box she was holding. There was a green jade bracelet and the gold dragon emblem there, all flabbergasted, growing more and more unexpected with the contents of the gift.

“This..?” Ask Mr. Becker's.

“This is a jade bracelet, its green color symbolizes health. Although not a genuine item, but I really pray for you to live a long and healthy life always.” Obviously Eylaria without hesitation, he was not ashamed even though giving fake goods.

Unexpectedly, Mr. Becker smiled and laughed at hearing it.

“This child, I love it..,” Said Mr. Becker loudly.

Eylaria and Nicolas were already sitting at his desk, they were smiling about what had just happened.

“You're not looking for Arlo?” Ask Nicolas.

“I don't know where he is...” Eylaria answered honestly.
