30. Conflict With Duke Russell

Noran spurred his horse through the main streets of the capital, looking for the four subordinates who might have reached this city.

"Where are they?" murmured Noran while walking down the streets of the bustling capital.

From a distance, the four men riding on horses saw someone, it was Noran.

"Look, sir is there" said Sin.

The four of them then rushed towards Noran, yet Noran had walked over again.

"Where's Mister?" Sin and the others felt strange, Noran just disappeared.

A few moments before...

When Noran was looking for his subordinates, two men of passion pulled him down and led him to a small alley.

"What's this?" he feels confused.

When he got inside the alley, a young man and several soldiers looked up at him.

It was Leon and some of the soldiers of the Tartanes residence, two warriors holding both of his arms and making him bow.

"What's this?" ask Noran.

"Are you Duke Aaron's guest?" ask Leon.

He lowered his head and looked at Noran's face, displaying his evil grin.

"I thought you were just a bad boy." thought Noran.

"Because of you, my engagement plan has failed! Today, I will make you feel my anger!" shouting Leon.

The other two soldiers came forward, beating Noran several times before stopping.

"Enough!" shouting Leon.

Leon lowered his head, and raised Noran's head. Look at him with a grin.

"Level 57 only?" Noran smiled looking at Leon.

Looking at the smiling Noran, he felt even more angry.

"What are you laughing at?!" Leon roared furiously.

Pah...

Two slaps shot out from his hands, making Noran's head turn to the right side.

"That was my slap for my failed engagement, and it was to humiliate my father" Leon said.

Pah..

Two other slaps landed on Noran's cheek, making Noran feel even more annoyed.

"I just sat quietly and observed your conversation, why should you slap me?!" thought Noran.

His aura slowly appeared and enlarged, suppressing all of them.

Soldiers who were only level 70 felt pressure on their bodies, making them forcibly bowed.

Noran slowly rose up and magnified the pressure of his, making everyone who was here almost bow down forcefully touching the ground.

"You slapped me four times, always remember this, I always return what I received many times over" Noran said.

Noran slapped Leon hard, causing him to slam to the ground.

The other slaps he did, making Leon's cheeks even red with the slap.

After slapping him a few times, Noran stopped and added to his pressure.

The soldiers and Leon were now depressed and collapsed on the ground, holding off the great force from Noran.

"I'll give you back!" shouting Leon.

He clenched his hands, looking at Noran sharply. Now, he became more and more hateful of himself.

Noran left the place, having brought his horse again, he then walked down the city.

[Dig! You hurt Duke Russell's son! Relationship points -100! Current relational status: -100/3000 (light conflict) ]

Noran paid no heed to the warnings and walked in search of his subordinates.

After walking for a while, he finally managed to find all four of his subordinates.

"Sir, we're coming." said Sin and saluted him.

Mike, Ruli and Toun also saluted them, Noran nodded at the sight of the four.

"Where are you staying?" ask Noran.

" we just got here, sir." said Sin.

Noran then invited them to find an inn, this time the inn they had rented was a little more luxurious than before.

Each one gets a room for a week.

"Sir, we ran several missions and managed to get 50 gold coins" Sin said.

As he handed the gold coins to Noran, Noran looked at the gold coins and asked.

"Why did you give it to me?" ask Noran.

"Sir, this is a must for the subordinates to give everything they have to their master" Sin said.

Mike, Ruli and Toun nodded, it was a tradition. Noran refused and said it was their right.

The five then gathered and ate a delicious meal at the inn.

"It seems that from now on you should stay away from me" Noran said.

"Why?" Sin and the others asked.

Why did their master tell them to step away all of a sudden? This is so weird.

"I have a conflict with Duke Russell" Noran said.

Duke Russell! He knew very well who Duke Russell was, Duke Russell was one of the four dukes in the Rosvelt kingdom.

"How is the story the master had a conflict with them?" Sin was curious about it.

Noran then explained how it happened, starting from Duke Russell and his son came to Duke Aaron's residence.

"Sir, you stayed at Duke Aaron's house for two days?" Sin and the others were shocked.

Noran just nodded and continued his story, when he had just left Duke Aaron's mansion and was intending to look for them.

As he was searching for them, two warriors pulled him into a narrow alley.

There, Leon catches up and slaps him several times. Hearing Noran being slapped by Duke Russell's son, they felt angry.

"He slapped you, sir?" Sin stood up and clenched his fists.

"He dared to harass our master, I'll go and kill him" Toun said.

Mike and Ruli are no less angry than the two, the four are ready to go to look for him.

"Wait, there's something more important" Noran said.

The four of them sat back down and listened quietly. Noran tells of the forced engagement by Duke Russell.

He wants to help Duke Aaron. However, if a battle between the two dukes happened, Duke Aaron would lose.

"Then, what do you want?" ask Sin.

Noran thought about it seriously, before finally starting to make a sound again.

"Their military is too weak, I want you to help me" Noran said.

They discussed seriously and spoke for a few hours before finally stopping.

"Good plan sir." said Sin.

Noran then took out his 100 iron sword and handed it over to the four.

"Sell this weapon at a good price, all these weapons have a Rare level" said Noran.

Rare Levels! And they have 100! To their surprise, where did their master get this many Rare-level weapons?

"Okay sir, we'll sell it for the best price" Sin said.

Noran nodded, dealing with a Duke is not an easy matter.

"Duke Russell, since I have dealt with them, I will finish" Noran muttered as he clenched his fists tightly.
