25. Around the capital
They walked over and started having dinner together, it seemed like Duke Aaron's wife would not be coming along.
"Where's his wife?" Noran wondered why he was not with them.
"You looking for my wife?" ask Duke Aaron.
He guessed it, because almost everyone who had ever come also did the same thing.
Noran nodded, Duke Aaron then sighed.
"My wife is sick, she can just lie in her room and can't go anywhere" Duke Aaron said.
"ill? What pain?" ask Noran.
"Of course, the illness looks strange too. His body began to blacken and his eyes began to turn red. I suspect it's some kind of curse." Duke Aaron said.
There had been many priests and healers he called, but none had managed to cure his wife's illness.
"That's it, sorry." said Noran.
"No need, it's been a while" Duke Aaron said.
After dinner, he then let Noran stay in one of the empty rooms.
Noran then lay down, thinking about why Duke Aaron was behaving that way, perhaps to cover up his grief.
"Curse.. What kind of curse.." murmured Noran.
Noran then slept quietly in his room.

The next day, Noran got up and changed his clothes. It seems like he has to buy magic clothes.
It was nothing, his clothes were always broken when in battle.
There were still two stels left in his storage, he then walked out of the room.
"Morning~" a girl greeted him just as he was out.
Wearing a simple white dress, and a blond trim that was freely scattered made her look beautiful.
"Eslope? Why are you here?" ask Noran.
"Didn't you want to take a walk in the city?" ask Esline.
The two then went out and walked through the city on foot. His horse has been kept in Duke Aaron's stable.
"Where are we going?" ask Noran.
Esline did not answer him, just pulled him away and walked down the streets of the capital that was quite crowded.
Both are seen enjoying this trip, trying sweet foods and various games available.
After being satisfied around, Noran invited Esline to go to an herbal store and buy some three-fingered herbs.
"Welcome sir, how can I help you?" a servant greeted the two kindly.
"Is there three fingers?" ask Noran.
"Sir, do you want to buy it?" ask the waiter.
The three-fingered grass was a low-level herb, not so difficult to obtain.
"I'll buy 10 gold coins" Noran said.
The servant was surprised, for such a low-tier herb to only have a price of 20 copper coins.
Buying this herb with 100 gold coins, Noran can get 5,000 stalks of three-fingered leaves.
10 Gold coins is not a small amount, for ordinary people they can live how many full months without having to work.
"Well, I'll get ready soon" said the waiter.
He immediately rushed to prepare Noran's order. In a few moments, a large bundle of three-fingered herbs was visible.
The servant nodded, just like the three-fingered leaf, the liver grass was also a low-level herb.
Noran then ordered another 10 gold coins, now he got 5000 heart leaf ties in front of him.
He also bought many glass bottles totaling 10,000 glass bottles. In total he spent 50 gold coins.
"What do you want to do?" Esline was curious.
Spending 50 gold coins so easily, no descendant of nobility could do that so easily.
How rich was this young man before him? That was Esline's current thought.
"Please take it to Duke Aaron's residence and I'll give you 10 gold coins" Noran said.
"Sure, I will do well sir" said the waiter.
The servant immediately responded, earning 10 gold coins serving only one person, it was very tempting for him.
He found a freight train and sent it to Duke Aaron's residence.
While Noran and Esline continue their journey, the two stop at another store.
This time Noran bought quite a lot of iron bars and some steel, he spent another 50 gold coins.
Noran and Esline then went to another store, a jewelry store.
A large and beautiful shop, several servants greeted them with bright smiles.
"Welcome young master, how can we help you?" said a waiter.
Her face was quite pretty and sweet, Noran then looked at the jewelry present.
"Is there a hairpin?" ask Noran.
The waiter nodded and picked up a few boxes containing beautiful hairpins.
All hairpins are made of good and expensive materials.
Noran then took out a flower-shaped hairpin that had a jewel in the center.
"How much is this?" ask Noran.
The waiter looked at the hairpin, it was a white flower-shaped hairpin.
"The master is worth 100 gold coins" said the servant.
"100 gold coins? I'll take this one." said Noran.
Esline was surprised, the man before him spent 200 gold coins in just a day and without a care.
Noran then gave the maids gold coins and put the hairpin on Esline's head.
The hairpin was nicely attached above his right ear, Esline's face became flushed.
"What are you doing?" esline said in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Hm? Just give you a gift, this is my thanks." said Noran.
Esline's face became more reddened and lowered his head in embarrassment, and he was delighted when Noran put the hairpin on him.
"It's almost evening, it looks like we should be back soon" Noran said.
The sky had been orange, it was time for them to return to the mansion.
The two then walked back to the mansion, unaware that Esline's hand was holding Noran's.
It's a great day for both.
