Samuel and I went into the Acong Bookstore. It's still the same as it was a few months ago after I left because I had to stop working because I got married.
If anyone enters the bookstore, there will be a bell on the doorstep that rings when the door opens. And the sound of the bell makes me smile because I remember the times I worked in this bookstore owned by Ko Acong.
"Welcome to the Acong ko bookstore, there's something we can help you with!" mini friendly sound after the bell sound.
When Mini looked at me, I smiled at her and waved at my best friend the last time I met at my wedding reception.
"Dini!" call me and come to Mini after Samuel took his hand out of my hand.
"Aaaa... Naira!" Mini shouted hysterically and immediately opened the door that closed between the cashier table and the bookstore room.
Bruck
Mini directly hit me and hugged me very tightly.
"Hey, be careful my wife is pregnant. Don't hit him like that!" said Samuel and pulled Mini's shoulder away from me.
Mini, who initially looked very happy, suddenly turned to fear when Samuel looked at her with a displeased look.
"Ma. sorry sir!" said Mini who looked clearly frightened.
I stroked Samuel's arm.
"Mas, I'm fine! don't be mad at Mini!" I asked Samuel, I said it very slowly so that Samuel also responded calmly and did not disturb other visitors of this bookstore which seemed quite crowded.
Samuel hugged my waist and looked at Mini.
"Where is Acong's room?" ask her in a slightly loud voice.
"In.. there, sir!" said Mini pointed to a room that I still remember as a working room ko Acong indeed.
After hearing Mini's reply, Samuel didn't even respond to her anymore, he immediately turned his head towards me and gently touched my cheek.
"Darling, you can chat with your friends. I'll see Ko Acong first!" tell Samuel to me.
I also just nodded straight away.
"Yes mas!" answer me.
After I answered Samuel's mas, he immediately walked towards Acong's room. Samuel went inside and Mini held his chest sighing in relief.
I chuckled at what the Mini did, but it was Samuel when he first met someone else. Not just with Mini, he would always behave like that to someone he just knew or met.
Even he used to behave like that to me, his words were thin, his face cold and rarely looked at his interlocutor when he spoke. That's why I used to give him the nickname the sharp tongue.
It was because once every speech, every word and sentence that came out of his mouth was so sharp that it could make anyone's heart hurt.
"Naira let me hug you, I miss you so much. If your husband's flat face comes later he'll forbid me from hugging my best friend!" mini said in a hurry.
"Well, Naira congratulations, you will soon be a mother!" said Mini who looks also happy to hear the news of my pregnancy.
I just smiled and nodded at him.
"Ah glad I'll be called Cici later!" mini is very happy.
"Cissies?" ask me wonder.
"Yes Naira, if in my area that aunt is Cici!" obviously Mini to me because I asked earlier.
"Oh so, then if uncle?" ask me.
"Uncle Uncle, congratulations to Naira. I'm happy!" haris shouted that suddenly appeared from the back of Mini.
I was also very happy to see Haris, I also immediately shook the hand of Haris who was outstretched because he was congratulating me.
"Thank you Haris!" answer me.
We also sat in a chair at the cashier table, where we used to sit first while waiting for customers of the bookstore ko Acong.
Harris doesn't seem too busy either. Because it looks like the customers are typing on the computer rental that is being guarded by him. And other customers are also busy choosing books and office supplies as well as school equipment that they will buy.
"Tell me how you lived after you became rich?" asked Haris who immediately got a slow blow from Mini on his arm.
"Hey, the money is right. What do you mean ask like that?" ask Mini to Haris.
Actually I don't feel offended at all by the question from Haris. I was silent because I was watching my two coworkers and my best friend who was in front of me. I feel that their relationship is getting closer, I can see from the attitude of Haris who always turned towards Mini before talking to me, and from the attitude of Mini who had dared to touch Haris, Haris said, he just hit Haris' arm. And he never dared to do that. Just talk, Mini is always slow and does not dare to look at Haris. Now it's all different. Until I was sure that the two of them were getting closer and maybe they even had a relationship that was more than just friends and regular coworkers.
"Ekhem, tell me first. Since when are you two ekhem?" I asked while fusing my left index finger with my right index finger.
I can see clearly that Mini's face is turning red.
"Naira, why even ask that! answer my question first!" exciting Haris.
I smiled when Haris was defending Mini, like he was helping her avoid my question. I'm sure that my two best friends now like each other, and I'm happy about it. Haris is indeed a good and independent man, and Mini he is also a friend who is so loyal and caring, they are very harmonious.
I'm so happy that Mini's love for Haris is finally together. I remember how difficult Mini faced Haris who once expressed his love for me in front of Mini. But I did not have any feelings for her, and now I must finally be able to give her love to Mini. The girl who already liked her when she first saw Haris, when Haris first applied for a job at this Acong ko bookstore. I wish Mini and Haris could love each other like me and Samuel
