Vampire'S Secret Baby
|13|. Punishing your Hand

"Say!" Egbert had already blocked him.

"How shall I punish your hand?"

"S-sick" Egbert blocked her so tightly, her wrists almost as if in a twist.

"Do I have to break it?"

"Don't"

"Why not?" Egbert's eyes stared indifferently.

"If I break it, then this hand will no longer act in the future" At first glance, his expression was so flat that he said it, looking very annoying in Annette's eyes.

"I beg you not to..." Let it be, Annette would inevitably continue to plead with the heartless cold man.

"I'm so sorry, please forgive me" Annette said with a pair of teary eyes.

"I'll forgive you"

Annette's eyeballs slowly began to tremble with a smile.

"Terimaka—"

"But after I've punished you"

The smile that was floating was instantly extinguished. Annette's gonna cry. Egbert grabbed Annette's small wrist and brought it to the front of her mouth.

"W-what are you gonna do?"

Cret!

"Arghh" Annette screamed in pain just as the pair of sharp fangs sticking out of Egbert's mouth came biting on her wrist. Annette's eyes were already watering with tears of pain and her mouth was unceasingly howling painfully begging Egbert to stop.

But Egbert was so savage and apathetic. As if it was just a piece of chicken thigh that he could tear just like that with his fangs. Annette was about to faint at the sight of blood pouring down from her wrist.

Egbert did not waste the thick red liquid just like that. He immediately sucked it with his mouth as if it was a very delicious sweet tomato juice.

'It turns out human blood is this weird?'

Usually when he smells, he can still control himself. But if he had tasted it like this, could he still control himself?

It was the first time Egbert had drunk human blood. It was because he was born into the world after the 'exile system' was launched. The system was created to protect the existence of their nation that is almost extinct due to human cunning.

Yeah, maybe they're blood-sucking creatures. But in the human eye they are just a tiny mosquito that can be easily eradicated with their intelligent brain.

The system also makes them isolate themselves from the human world and move to a place that is alienated from them. From then on, instead of drinking human blood, they began to look for alternatives that were none other than animal blood.

Over the course of centuries, humans gradually began to forget their existence. Since then, their nation has only remained as a mythological creature.

......................

Annette drowned on the couch. With a servant wrapped in a wound in his hand. None other than that was the result of Egbert's sharp fangs tearing. It was still imagined how much blood was pouring profusely at that time, but Egbert sucked it so greedily as if it was a delicious drink beating his favorite strawberry juice.

"I want to ask"

"Yes madam?"

"Do you know who you're working for now?"

The waiter smiled straightforwardly answering, "Of course"

The confession shocked Annette.

"W-are you not afraid?" Annette's black eyeballs appeared to be in disbelief.

"Your master is definitely not a human being.." His word.

"He's a blood-sucking creature. At any time your blood will be drained in his suction"

"Pftt" The panicked-sounding babbling of Annette made the waiter laugh.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Do you think this is funny?"

The waiter stopped his laughter.

"Sir Egbert is not a human being like us" the servant said.

"Although he's a blood-sucking creature as you say, but Mr. Egbert isn't as bad as you might think"

"Not bad how?"

"You don't see how those two sharp fangs ripped my wrists?" Annette showed her the wound, which was now bandaged neatly with gauze.

"She even sucked my blood as if it were a glass of wine in a restaurant" Annette's still-pale lips trembled when she imagined it.

The waiter simply smiled faintly and replied, "That's because you didn't obey the mistress"

"Be nice in front of him and don't act too much"

"If you really don't want to be bitten again, please listen to my advice"

'Why did he come back?'

Annette thought it was the maid who had just treated her wound.

"What about your wounds?"

The deg!

Annette's dumbfounded. No need to look, he knew whose voice it was.

"You think?" Annette glanced at Egbert's annoyance.

"Looking at your expression, it seems to have gotten a lot better" Egbert said casually and went to sit on the bedside.

"Haah" Annette let out a breath of air.

"What are you sitting there for?"

"Sana out!" Ketus Annette's.

"I want to rest"

"What's this?" Egbert was slightly surprised to see Annette's change in attitude.

"Aren't you afraid of me anymore?" Where did the figure of the little girl who almost died of fear go?

"What if I'm scared, huh?" Annette sounded indifferent.

"But in the end you're gonna bite me again"

Annette stroked her right wrist that was wrapped in gauze, her gaze looking slurred.

"So.."

"You expect me to bite you again?"

The corner of Egbert's lips bent upwards, the look of his eyes looking playful.

"You dare?" Annette stared at Egbert.

"Be careful if you bite me again.."

"I'll definitely return the favor" Annette pulled the blanket and laid her body in annoyance.

"Gee!"

"How is this?"

"I'm so scared!" Egbert hugged her body, acting as if her romantic feathers were goosebumps due to Annette's words just now, Annette who saw that, snorted unhappily.

"Not funny!"

Annette positioned her head as comfortably as possible and prepared for bed..

This day his power was completely drained from messing up the great castle of Egbert.

"I'm sorry I forgot to say it"

"I should have told her to find me a mature, mature human girl in mind..."

"It's not the little girls who only know how to create chaos"

Annette who had just closed her eyes, heard clearly Egbert's monologue. Annette knew the man was insinuating himself.

"Then return me!"

Annette excitedly got up from the bed and leaned her back against the headboard.

"Return you?"

"Yes" Annette smiled happily, her eyes so bright with a twinkle of hope.

"Before you regret it any further, you'd better end your bond with this little girl"

"You think so?" Egbert looked indifferent.

"Eum" Nod Annette steady.

"Do you know? I'm still in my twenties.."

"In our human world, it's too early to get married"

"So you better find someone older than me, who can make more sense in dealing with the problem"

"It's not someone who just knows how to create chaos as a solution to a problem. Yeah like me"

After speaking at length, Annette stared nervously at the pair of cold eyes in front of her. He really hoped that the man would agree with all of his words earlier. That way he would immediately leave the Castle, forget all these fleeting nightmares and immediately return to his real life.

"I agree with what you said" Egbert seemed to nod thoughtfully.
