Turns out you're my soul mate
Failed to get a job

"What is this, Ma?" annisa asked when she saw the brown envelope held by her mother-in-law.

"It's money as a handle to meet your daily needs" Safa replied.

"It's not necessary, Ma. I don't want to bother mama," Annisa refused because she felt awkward.

"Don't be so Annisa. Mama feels guilty for you because Abizar cannot give material happiness. See you even live in a rented house as small as this," said Safa who was sad to see the fate of her son and daughter-in-law.

Annisa felt overwhelmed. She was grateful to have a mother-in-law like Safa. "Thank you, Ma" Annisa said as she received the envelope.

After that Safa pamit. "Mom will come here again. Mama try to visit you often. Take care of your health, baby. Mama pray you guys get a baby soon." Annisa nodded.

"Be careful, Ma." Annisa waved her hand. Then she cooked while waiting for her husband to come home.

Meanwhile Abizar who did not also get a job paused for a moment in a warteg. This was the first time he had bought food in that simple stall.

"What do you want to buy, Mom?" ask the warteg seller.

"Abizar sees a large selection of side dishes available in the storefront. He pointed at a few side dishes then the seller prepared an Abizar order.

The man ate the rice full of that plate voraciously. "Mas, you're hungry?" ask the person next to him. Abizar just nodded. His mouth was still full of rice along with his unfinished side dish chewed.

After he swallowed his food, he spoke. "I'm out of work but no company wants to accept me" he said interspersed with vent sessions.

"What graduates are you?" ask the guy. Abizar thought first before answering. That person definitely could not believe if he was the best graduate of the university.

"Graduate High School, sir," Abizar replied lying.

"Searching for work now is difficult if there is no insider connection. I'm the only one who graduated from S2 just became a lecturer."

Abizar. How can S2 graduates no company is willing to accept, Abizar thought. "Where university is he going to college? Was there no recommendation from where he went to college?" asked Abizar innocently.

The man laughed out loud. "I mean SD graduates, SMP," he explained. Abizar felt that he was more stupid than that person.

A moment later came the idea of becoming a pelvic coolie in the market. Two days of failing to get a job at many companies was frustrating. She was afraid Annisa thought she would not be the head of the family. So Abizar was thinking of becoming a pelvic coolie.

"Mas, take me to work!" abizar said steadily.

The man was surprised. She scans Abizar's appearance so neatly but asks him for a job. "What work, Mom? I'm doing odd jobs in the market" he replied.

"Take me to be a pelvic coolie" replied Abizar. The man spouted the coffee he had just gulped.

"That's right? Don't be kidding. Work so the pelvis is heavy, you know," replied the man.

"It's okay, Mom. I just want to bring the money home. I am ashamed of my wife until she finds out that I failed to get a job" Abizar replied honestly. He did not want to disappoint Annisa who had been so kind to him.

"Well, tomorrow meet me at five o'clock in the market across the street. I'm waiting in front." Abizar nodded in agreement. He feels happy even though he is a pelvic coolie even if he does not have a problem. They can make money.

After that Abizar went home. Annisa was waiting in front of her house. "Alhamdulillah finally Mas Abi came home. Let's go in. I've prepared a lot of food for you." Annisa pulls her husband's hand. Abizar simply resignedly followed the steps of his wife.

"Neither..." Annisa showed me a lot of the food she cooked.

"Don't be too wasteful. We have to skimp!" he said with a flat face expression. Annisa's shedding her shoulders.

He lifted the chin of the girl in the hijab. "Thank you for providing a lot of food. But next time you don't have to cook this much" Abizar said gently.

Annisa's face was red. A moment later he broke away. Annisa does not want her feelings for Abizar to deepen. He knew Abizar had no feelings for him yet.

"Mas, let's eat!" Annisa pulled her husband to sit down.

"I've bought food in warteg," Abizar replied as he rubbed his stomach which looked bloated.

"Where might I spend all this" Annisa protested.

"Yes, just share it with the front neighbor" pointed Abizar with his chin. After that he went to the room. The man wanted to clean himself and change his clothes.

Annisa followed her husband's advice. After all during her stay at the rented house she had never greeted her closest neighbors.

"Assalamualaikum, ma'am," Annisa said to two women who were looking for gray hair.

"What's up, Ma'am?" ask one of them.

"I intend to give you this food. I happen to cook a lot of food when I eat alone" Annisa said hesitantly. She was afraid that the mothers would refuse him a gift.

"Wah the windfall. Here I want the food. It just so happens that at this hour I am always hungry" replied the woman named Rohmah.

"Oh yes, my name is Annisa. I've only moved here a few days." Annisa reached out her hand.

Ms. Rohmah returned Annisa's hand. "I am Rohmah and this is Ms Siti" he replied.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, then" said Annisa.

"What's the rush, Ma'am?" ask Ms. Siti.

"Yes, my husband just came home so I don't feel good if this hour is outside the house" replied Annisa.

"Oh yes already. Next time if you want to play stop by," said Ms. Rohmah. Annisa nodded.

"Well young, pretty, polite again. If only my son could have a wife like him would have been my life ade ayem, ma'am." Ms. Rohmah confided in Ms. Siti.

"Emang the Ela is not the type of daughter-in-law of the ideal of Bu Rohmah?" ask Ms. Siti.

"Oh, he's usually on a cell phone. Cooking for her husband never. It only works for money to the salon but the face is still the same," said Bu Rohmah.

"Astaghfirullah, I did not expect the daughter-in-law of such an ugly mother to be her nature," replied Ms. Siti.

When Annisa arrived home, she did not hear her husband's voice. She checked on her husband in the room and found that he was snoring. Annisa also chose to go to her room.

"When did I become a virgin like this?" murmured Annisa before going to bed. His eyes were so sleepy that he closed his eyes.

The next day, when Annisa wakes up for dawn prayers. She did not see her husband in the room. "Mas, Mas Abi?" annisa called for her husband but there was no answer. Annisa was also worried.

As she sat in the living room, Annisa found a piece of paper.

What is his writing?
