Today Annisa is shopping a lot but she is shopping in other markets. Annisa doesn't want her to cross paths with Abizar. She was afraid of hurting her husband. So Annisa pretends not to know Abizar's work. He will wait for Abizar himself to tell the story.
Annisa started selling at about ten in the morning. During the day the sales increase because it coincides with the clock back to school. Then he closed the sale at two in the afternoon. Today was very exhausting for Annisa.
"God, tired of it." Annisa rubbed her sweat with her arm. He was really busy because after selling he had to prepare orders for later tonight.
Shortly afterwards we heard footsteps. "Assalamualaik."
"Mas Abi, how come the clock has come home?" ask Annisa.
"Mas deliberately went home quickly to help you," replied Abizar. Annisa felt moved by him so teary.
"What can I help you with?" ask Abizar.
"Mas Abi didn't eat first?" ask Annisa. A moment later he patted his head. "Sorry, Mas. I didn't have time to cook" he said a little regretfully.
"It's okay. I had eaten outside" Abi replied lying.
"Then I will give you this fruit. Can Mas Abi?" ask Annisa. Abi nodded.
Unfortunately just holding a knife and trying to peel the pineapple fruit his hand was injured. "God." Abizar grimaced in pain.
Annisa quickly cleaned Abizar's wounds. "I'll take the plaster first."
"I'm sorry I interrupted your work."
"No, Mas. Its alright. Later Mas Abi help arrange in the cup that I have provided." Abizar nodded in agreement.
When the clock has shown at five o'clock in the afternoon all materials to be brought to the place of order are ready. "Are we taking you now?" ask Abizar.
"Yes, Mas. Better so. The show ran out of Maghrib."
"Let me take it." Abizar offered himself. The two carried the buyer's ordered goods while walking hand in hand.
"Wah Mbak Annisa with her husband very friendly," said Bu Siti.
Annisa paused for a moment and smiled at Ms. Siti. "Good afternoon, Mom. We'll take Bu Ingrid's order" Annisa replied.
"Well, thank God Ma'am. I hope the sales are always on the sell."
"Then we'll excuse you" Annisa said politely.
"Are you familiar with the neighbors around here?" ask Abi.
"Yes, Mas. Ever since I distributed food that time. They were kind to me, too" replied Annisa.
After getting money from Bu Ingrid, Annisa and Abi go straight home. "Mas, we will pray together again right?" ask Annisa. He hoped Abi would become his prayer priest every day.
Abi rubbed Annisa's head. "Of course." This alone made Annisa's heart happy. She actually wished more for her husband.
After the Maghrib prayer, Abizar took his wife out. "Where are we going, Mom?" ask Annisa.
"Every time eat out. How what do you want? We are looking for a place to eat that is not far from here" Abizar suggested to his wife. Annisa nodded in agreement. He tends to be happy because it's the first time they've walked together.
"How about we buy some meatballs on that front?" point Abi at a tent selling meatballs and chicken noodles.
"May," answered Annisa.
"Sir, the meatballs are two bowls." Abi ordered meatballs at the seller.
Abizar took his wife to sit down. "You know, I didn't think my life would be this heavy. I thought forever I would be able to enjoy the luxurious facilities. But God is turning things around. My father kicked me out blatantly." Annisa could see the sadness in her husband's eyes.
"Mas Abi regrets marrying me?" ask Annisa. Honestly she was not ready if her husband's answer would hurt in her ear.
Abi shaking. He held Annisa's hand. "I'm so grateful to be married to you Annisa. From the beginning of your marriage, you have always been patient with me. I never heard you complain. You also made me excited to find a job. Thank ye. That's all I can give you." Abizar was embarrassed.
Annisa raised her hand then piled her hand on top of Abizar's. "My mother will always be there for you." Abizar smiled a full day.
"Ehem." The meatball seller holding the two bowls cleared his throat to interrupt Annisa and Abi's conversation.
"The taxi's Den."
"Thank you, sir."
Both of them also enjoy a bowl of meatballs that are still hot. Simple and full of happiness. Abi's present life is very different from that of the past.
He used to spend every night getting drunk and playing girls in nightclubs. But now despite only being in a meatball tent, Abi feels happier than ever.
A moment later someone greeted Abizar. "Abi," call Bang Anton.
Abizar chokes when he sees Bang Anton's face. "Bang, what's your brother doing here?" abi asked in panic. He was afraid Anton would tell him about his work all along.
"Yes buy meatballs. That's your wife, right?" Anton turned towards Annisa.
"Yes, this is Annisa" Abizar replied.
"Well, that's pretty. Rich angel," praise Anton.
"Ck, keep your eyes on me, Bang!" Abizar was jealous.
Anton wants to join but Abizar hastily invites Annisa home. "Bang, we go first, yes" said Abi.
Abi pulls Annisa's hand. "Why rush?" annisa Tease.
"Mas is afraid of your friend Mas tempt you," he said lying.
Arriving at home, Abi just took off his hand. They were shocked when they saw Abi's parents on the porch of his house. "Papa" said Abi lirih.
Zidan stopped by after work. "You didn't tell papa to come in?" ask Zidan.
Abi immediately opened the door of his rented house. "Come in, Pa."
Annisa shakes Zidan's hand. After that she approached her husband. "Mas I went back to make you drink for papa, '" said Annisa.
"How are you, Pa?" ask Abizar.
"It's my dad who should ask you. How does it feel to be poor? Did you get a job?" tanay Zidan's.
"Did papa come here just to taunt me? Didn't you throw me out why you still took the time to come here?"
Zidan smiled cynically. "Papa just wants to know if you're alive or dead?" zidan sarcasm.
"I'm sorry if I interrupt. Abi has changed a lot. He's a responsible husband, Pa. So papa don't worry." Annisa who had just come from the kitchen heard her in-laws belittling her husband. Honestly, he does not accept. So far Annisa does not see the ugliness shown by her husband.
Zidan stands. "Alright, I've got an answer. You're all right here" Zidan said before leaving.
Abizar drowned after meeting his father.
