13. Disappointments

The atmosphere that night was very t-shirt. Seen from the window of the rector room everyone tried to save the Magicology students who were victims of the bombing and fire. More than five ambulances came for the evacuation.

Professor Pablo who was also drenched in coming to the scene of the crime was staring disappointed one by one the students who were called to face him.

“Tell me the chronology,” he said firmly. No one was shaking, the five were still in a state of shock. “Anybody.”

“Good, so put it this way, Professor.” Gavi ventured to begin explaining.

However, Leo immediately cut it off and said along. “Let me explain.” Leo reassured Gavi with a nod. “Begini, Professor. We don't know what caused the explosion. Not even a single flame we knew where it came from because the five of us were outside the hall at that time. However, I am sure from the smell of the fire smoke the main problem is the bat statue made by Gavi and his friends as a heating object.”

Hearing that hypothesis Gavi glared and mecona interrupted Leo. “Hey! what max ...”

“It's rude of you to interrupt my conversation, huh?” Leo's high tone makes Gavi, Alvyn, and Kilik sick. “Why am I sure? Professor, the three of them are the Vampire race. As we know that the relationship of the Vampire race and humans will never be good, this is in accordance with the statements of experts in the history books. The professor can check it. They came here to destroy the image of this campus. Professor, you have no suspicion of them at all?”

Infuriated by Leo's statement, Gavi finally landed a blow on the student president's cheek. Gavi's body is quickly blocked by Alvyn and Kilik. The downed Leo is soon awakened by Allecia.

“Hey! You guys are not polite, yes!” Professor Pablo was very angry with the behavior of this student. “Allecia, take Leo outside ask sister to treat him and you three stay here.”

Leo with his bloody mouth limped away being carried by Allecia out of the room. Both of Gavi's arms were still held tightly by his two friends.

“Sit,” Professor Pablo's orders. “Give me a party number Juvenile Academy.”

Kidik, who had missed Professor Vincent's phone number, gave it verbally. A very intense conversation took place between Professor Pablo and Professor Vincent.

Gavi, Alvyn, and Kilik returned to the dormitory to pack up. They will be sent home that night. This made the three expelled from Normal Alexandria University disrespectfully. Professor Vincent is coming to pick them up in two hours.

“Leo, the kid, absolutely ba**sat!” Gavi slammed the room door and hit him.

Alvyn who was trying to hold back his emotions finally exploded. “Tolol! Stupid boy! Who does he think he is, huh? Look, I'll break his head.”

“Already, already, how else. We have to pack before Professor Vincent comes.” The teary-eyed child took out her neat suitcase.

“Then, what is our fate in Juvenile Academy? We'll obviously be ejected!” Now Choco is the victim of Gavi's screams.

The disappointment of Gavi, Alvyn, and Kilik really poured out that night, with the sound of lightning flashing making the atmosphere even more supportive. Until finally the door to their room was knocked. Gavi opened it up and supposedly it was Professor Vincent with some staff from Normal Alexandria University.

The three followed Professor Vincent from behind without flinching. The Professor's sour face was clearly drawn and disappointment was painted on it. Gavi, Alvyn, and Kilik are brought back to the Vampire race.

Gavi stepped up regretfully while carrying his suitcase. He came home with a bad feeling.

"I feel like I want to cry, agh I'm disappointed!"

“Mother ...” Gavi's cry was unstoppable. She was crying so much.

The mother who was shocked when she saw the chaotic condition of her son immediately ran over and hugged him. “Nak!”

Gavi was brought in. The mother did not ask anything until Gavi's cry subsided. Gavi is an adult, but when he really feels disappointed, the crying will come out automatically from him. The angry man looked like a child when he cried. Long enough until it finally subsides.

Gavi's mother gave her son warm tea. “Drink, for you to relax.” Gavi immediately nodded. “So you want to tell mom?”

Gavi told me the whole story that happened to him a few hours ago. How he got slander from Leo, scorn from Professor Vincent, and a one-year suspension letter from the Juvenile Academy. Her mother was very sad to hear all this. He doesn't know any information from Choco because the bat is always caged by Gavi.

Gavi's father was not at home, as usual the man was running errands to teach languages across the region.

Gavi's mother had no intention of scolding Gavi at all, she was so grateful that her son could return home safely without any injuries. Gavi's mother tried to toughen up and comfort Gavi.

“Good, you don't need to go to school and can help mom every day.” Obviously the joke did not make the mood improve again. The smile from the mother actually made Gavi again let out his tears.

“Mother ..I'm sorry, I can't be a good student. I broke a lot of rules, I was wrong, Mom. I'm sorry.” Now only that speech can come out of Gavi's mouth.

“Already, already. Its alright. Although the Vampire race is perfect, it does not rule out the possibility for us to make mistakes. That's natural, let alone you as a teenage Vampire to adulthood.” The mother's words made Gavi feel calm and at peace.

“Wait, why is your body all wet? Outside the sky is very bright black.” Just realizing her son is soaking wet, Gavi's mother tells him to take a shower before it's up to the flu.

After taking a shower, Gavi went into his room and sat pensively. His mind began to guess with all the events.

“Oh, where are the lumps of paper that Lea gives?” Gavi immediately searched for the item in question, but he did not find it. “Ah, fuck. Missing.” Gavi sat back on his desk chair. “Add thoughts only. Must have fallen on campus.”

Not to be drawn into it, Gavi's mind again struggled. He thought about why Leo could make it, why Lea came and went after Gavi made a speech, and what was really in the paper that Lea had given him.

Actually from the beginning Gavi and his friends came in the Human territory, all events felt awkward. Gavi thinks that he is the unlucky bearer for all the events that happen to him and his friends. In his daydream Gavi then realized that his bedroom window was knocking.

Gavi stepped closer and opened it. “Alvyn?” He invited his friend to come in.

“You need to know this.” Alvyn gave the lump of paper that Gavi was actually looking for from earlier.

“Where did you get it?” ask Gavi.

“It fell when you had a fuss with Leo. I picked it up and just remembered when I got home. Out of curiosity I opened it, let's see,” explained Alvyn while sitting where Gavi originally sat.

Gavi opened the lump of paper. “Lea?” He was very surprised.

Alvyn nodded. “True, the girl intends to kill us.”
