Chapter 23 Rafael Picking Up Lica.

"Well' if Rafael meets me there later, do you think Rafael still remembers me?" ask Lica with glassy eyes.

"He must remember you! so now you go to sleep and stop thinking about Rafael because it's late at night and I'm also sleepy" Erlin said as she yawned.

Then Lica lay down and Erlin helped her put a blanket on the body of Lica then.

"Good night, I will also sleep in my room" Erlin said, Lica nodded then Erlin walked towards the door and there was Rafael who shook his head as if forbidding Erlin from leaving the room of Lica, Erlin sat back on the bed with Lica puzzled and asked.

"Well, don't you go?" while Lica looked towards Erlin.

"I'll leave when you're asleep" Erlin said as she looked up at Rafael standing up, Lica shifted her body to the middle of the bed so that Erlin's seat was wider then Erlin lay down next to Lica but unknowingly she and Lica also fell asleep.

The morning when Lica woke up, Lica was shocked because she saw Erlin sleeping next to her and then Lica called her.

"She!" Erlin did not respond to Lica's call then Lica enveloped Erlin's body and Erlin directly pulled Lica's body into her arms without opening her eyes.

"She!" said Lica was shocked trying to let go of Erlin's hug which was strong enough then slowly Erlin said.

"Shut up for a moment" Lica was silent as she looked at Erlin's face that was closing her eyes.

In the kitchen Mother and Imah were busy deliberating and then came Erlin, in the aftercare of Lica in the back then while sitting on the bench Erlin asked the mother.

"His mother looks very busy, what's wrong mom!"

"Erlina! tomorrow is her 7th monthly event, Lica and mother are planning to invite some people in the orphanage and also friends of Lica's friends, you also invite people you know to enliven this event who know the wives of your employees also want to pray for Rica and her baby" said the mother happily while holding the belly of the pepper.

"It's been 7 months...? soon my niece was born" Erlin said with an excited face while touching the belly of Lica too, then kissed her, Lica was moved because Erlin showed affection to her future baby.

Everyone had breakfast, mother and Imah slightly deliberated while eating, Lica and Erlin ignored her nor gave any opinions.

"So morning I was looking for you to ask anyone you wanted to invite but you weren't in the room, where were you?" ask Erlin.

"Maybe I'm still sleeping" Erlin said casually.

"You're not in your room! where did you sleep?" ask the curious mother.

On the day of Lica's 7th monthly event at Erlin's office, Andi and Reta visited then Andi asked Erlin.

"How's Erlin doing"

"Good" said Erlin kindly.

"How about we have lunch together today! we're going all three?" ask Andi.

"Today there's a 7-monthly event of Lica at home so I'll be home soon too" Erlin said, leaving Reta unable to hold back her anger.

"What's so special about Lica? she is neither rich nor beautiful! then why are you ignoring me who's prettier than Lica!" reta asked furiously.

"Lica may not be as pretty as you! but Lica has a nature a thousand times better than you" Erlin said firmly.

Andi looked at Erlin and Reta's annoyance then he tried to calm the situation by saying.

"Here you go, how about we go together to Lica's show?" ask Andi.

"Ok" said Erlin, until her at home the show began and the show went smoothly until the end of her Lica walked to her room to change her wet clothes because she finished her bath and Lica went with her mother to her room but no one realizes Reta is following them as well by carrying a knife in her hand that she got from the kitchen then she goes into Lica's room while shouting.

"You have to die" mother and Lisa were surprised because in the hands of Reta holding a knife then Reta tried to attack Lica but Lisa managed to catch the hand of Reta who was holding a knife, Reta tried so hard to stab the knife into the body of Lica then the mother screamed.

"Tolooooonggg....!" while the mother pulls Reta's hand and the Knives that Reta brought managed to snatch Lica but tried again at Reta's capture and accidentally pierced into the heart of Reta makes Lica surprised by not it was Lica who killed Reta.

Mother's screams made everyone shocked and immediately came into the room, they were all shocked to see Reta die and Lica screamed in pain as well while holding her stomach, Anggel immediately called an ambulance, Erlin approached Lica, and Andi cried while hugging Reta's dead body, then Erlin lifted Lica's body out of the house, mom wanted to follow Erlin but her hand was held by Andi tightly because Andi wanted to ask her mother Erlin's explanation about the incident.

"The ambulance is on its way" Anggel said, 5 minutes later the ambulance came and Erlin entered the ambulance and went to the hospital and at the hospital the doctor managed to remove the baby pepper but Lisa fell into a coma Erlin was holding a baby girl Lica to meet Lica then Erlin put the baby girl Lica beside Lica and at the same time Erlin also saw Rafael was beside Lica while saying.

"Lica! come with me, baby! I picked you up" said Rafael and heard that Erlin immediately cried as he said.

"Rafael please, don't do this! don't take Lica away, I promise I'll take care of Lica even better! pity your baby who will grow up if you bring the pepper" Erlin said, pleading and she could not help but cry because she was not ready to lose the pepper, but Rafael ignored Erlin's request and Rafael reached out his hand then said again.

"Let's love it's time" Erlin also saw the spirit of Lica rising from her body and holding Rafael's hand, the incident made Erlin even more hysterical but like a deaf and blind pepper she ignored Erlin's screams and their spirits both flew through the hospital roof, Lica died.
