Chapter 10 It's hard to be together

Rafael is only able to carry out his brother's orders and begin his impromptu work while occasionally looking at his watch, he also looked outside his work room because the room was made of glass so Rafael could see one by one the people in the office preparing to go home and not long after Rafael saw Erlin passing in front of his room, heading outside to go home as well.

Rafael took his cell phone and intended to contact his wife but then he canceled because he thought his work would be completed before 19:00 a.m, then Rafael puts his cell phone on the table and starts his extra work.

At home, Lica tidied up her work quickly and she also cooked dinner for Erlin and also her mother-in-law after finishing cooking Lica into her mother-in-law's room, her in-laws were reading a newspaper and then Lica was sitting next to her mother-in-law.

"Mother tonight me and Rafael will eat outside, I've cooked for mom and Erlin so I'll just heat up when I want to eat" she explained.

The mother-in-law folded the newspaper she read and placed it on a table beside her bed.

"Yes my son is gone and don't worry about me and Erlin go have fun with your husband" said the mother-in-law gently and affectionately as she rubbed the head of Lica and hugged her.

"I never thought of you as my daughter-in-law, but I already thought of you as my son" said the mother-in-law as she wiped her tears after taking off her arms.

"Go get dressed and don't let your husband wait for you to get dressed" smiling a little mother-in-law said that, Lica nodded with a smile and then Lisa came out of her mother-in-law's room and outside she passed Erlin, Lica greeted Erlin respectfully

"Sister-in-law" Lica said with a smile greeting Erlin but Erlin just kept quiet and did not say a word she continued walking by ignoring the whereabouts of Lica, but Erlin, then Lica walked towards the door and opened the door to see if her husband had also gone home, but it turned out that there was only Erlin's car and there was no husband's car yet.

Lica entered the room and started dressing up and finished dressing up at 18:30 Wita Lica also came out of her room and when Erlin saw her eyes Erlin did not blink looking at her elegance and a moment Erlin admired her in her heart she said.

"Very pretty"

But then Erlin was able to control himself and turn his gaze toward his laptop again, Lica then sat in the living room with her mother-in-law on the same sofa and her mother-in-law read the newspaper while occasionally glancing at her daughter-in-law who looked uneasy because she could not wait for her arrival her husband.

In the office, Rafael finishes his work and glances at his watch which shows at 19:00 Wita and Rafael rush out of the office and drive his car fast and in the middle of the road stuck in traffic then Rafael takes a gift from his pocket that is a beautiful ring for a re-gift years later his wife while smiling herself Rafael grasps the ring with his left hand and picks up the phone with his right hand then he calls Lica and says.

"Honey like her I'm going to be late for now being stuck in traffic on the street" Lica softly said.

"Don't worry about my misua, I'll wait for you calmly and patiently, be careful and do not rush because your safety is more important remember the pity to slowly drive"

"Dear, I know and I love you so much" after saying as soon as Rafael decided on the call and Lica took the mirror out of her bag and fixed her makeup, the mother-in-law asked.

" Where is Rafael?"

"Still stuck in traffic" Ms. Lica replied politely to her in-laws.

Police searched Rafael's address inside Rafael's car and found his SIM in his car drawer.

Even in a state of unconsciousness, self, the ring in Rafael's grip could not be removed and the ambulance took Rafael and the truck driver to the Hospital and the police went to the address of the house in the SIM.

At home, Lica saw a wall clock showing at 20:30 pm Lica began to fidget and paced back and forth behind the door with a feeling of anxiety that was clearly visible on her face.

From the outside came a knock on the door and Lica rushed to open the door but she was surprised to see two policemen who came to the Romanov family's house at night in wonder, Lica turned to her mother and called.

" Mom!"

Then the mother turned to Lica and was confused as to who was coming, mother did not see who was coming because of blocked door leaf and Erlin also looked towards Lica then mother got up from her sitting and walked towards the door in follow Erlin behind her mother then one of the policemen said.

"Is this really the residence of Rafael Romanov's brother?" Then Lica nodded, the police then said again.

"We found this address from Rafael Romanov's SIM that he kept in the car drawer and now Rafarl's brother is in the hospital because he just had an accident"

Lica immediately shouted.

"Yetoooooooo...!!"

Then she sat on the floor and she almost fell but Erlin caught her from behind and the police said.

"Now Rafael's brother is in the Hidah Harapan mother" After speaking as soon as the police say again.

"We will continue our duties and we'll excuse us" Then the police left and mother said to Erlin.

" Let's go to the hospital now, son!"

" I-iya Bu" said Erlin nervously, then Erlin released her embrace from her mother then glanced briefly at the confused Lisa who was frozen.

Then Erlin took her car keys on the table after which they went to the hospital and upon arrival at the hospital by walking slowly Lica approached her husband who was lying down and not moving with a drenched mother's blood instantly fainted to see the state of Rafael then Erlin raised his mother and laid her on the sofa then stood on the left and Lica stood on the right with tears that unable to stop flowing then Lica called out

"Raphels...."
