True Love

True Love
Back to the house

"I'm human, so I can't be your partner? Good. Finish up here. I'm sorry I tried to kill me. May you be happy in your next life."

Jamie pushed his chair away from the table. Damian hooked his ankle to the woman's chair leg. Jamie watched the man's thigh muscles tighten behind faded denim pants as Damian pulled his chair closer. That much power.... Jamie trembled, remembering that the man's legs were approaching his feet, the man's fine fur stroking his skin as Damian slammed into him.

Jamie's surprised look collided with Damian's eyes. The man smiled understandingly. A fine cut appeared in the corner of his eye. Damian rubbed his hands yes, his forehead wrinkled.

"I can't read your mind, even when we touch. Tell me, how did Kane infect you? Did he say anything?"

Jamie's down, his stomach wrapped around. " Kane bit me. Like a Loup garou bite. And he whispered some words in a foreign language."

That event was very painful. And exceeding pain and happiness after knowing that he finally managed to have power is the evil that lies behind it. Jamie shivered as he reminded her.

" He cast a spell. Magick from pure Alpha descent might be able to help." Damian looked at her sternly."My magick is Jamie."

"So, if you bite me, that bite can reverse anything that flows inside me? No thanks. One bite is bad enough."

"There's another way" said Damian softly."Much more fun. I can make it so much fun.

His meaning was reflected clearly from behind his passionate gaze. Jamie's back in the body.

"not anymore. I'm not gonna fuck with me. All we have is sex. Biology." The woman was afraid to look at Damian, just in case she saw the hidden radiance of passion in him.

"Until any moment between us is never just sex, baby. You know that, so do I. That's something we can't ignore. But I promise I'll never leave you again."

Damian complains of Jamie's back hand with his thumb. "What's it like, Jamie? When the darkness fills you?"

Contrary to his common sense, Jamie slipped his fingers into Damian's hands. His smile prevented the shadow from disappearing. Jamie looked at him, seeing his astonishment and worry.

Damian may never have felt the deep sadness, fear or decision of losing everything he loved. Not being able to think anything, not even a flickering evil thought, felt just as bad. Then knowing that what happened before was just a round of comedy swivel when compared to a rocket glide into deep concentration, which made Jamie's soul look like a small light that shimmered in a vacuum.

Jamie's voice rang out as the march spoke.

"It feels like being sucked into a black hole, feeling evil filling every cell of your body. Trapped in the heinous quicksand. There is no light, no hope, no way out, only the sound of your screams echoing back toward you" he whispered.

Damian** Jamie's hand, his jaw tightened. A moment of anger seemed in his eyes as if Damian had experienced the same darkness.

"Is there anything else you want?"

Their fierce servants returned. He looks unsettled and restless. This might be his last shift.

"Hallo's? Like I said, is there anything else you need?"

Damian just looked at her. "Give me the bond and leave us alone."

The woman put down a piece of paper. As the waiter looked at the link of their hand, her mouth formed a disobedience. His lips opened, showing....

Yellowish teeth as sharp as razor blades, like crocodile teeth.

What's the matter?

Jamie trembled, releasing his hands, trying to mask his reaction. He reached into his pocket and put the money on his desk.

"Cutractate. It's late. I have to go home."But his legs feel wobbly. "Why do I feel so weak?" Jamie said, rubbing his legs.

"I know why."Damian looked around and grabbed his hand. The man's touch was softer. Jamie, this is so bad. When Kane bit you, he poisoned you."

Her disbelief melted her. Damian's green eyes looked so serious, his mouth tightened." He infuses you with his bite and porphyry spells.

The more you use black Magick, the faster the spell works. The reason you feel weak is..."

Damian took a deep breath."Your body is turning to stone. The first symptom is your addiction to sugar. You ate it to get instant energy but it won't last."

A gripping silence seeped between them. Just a crowd talking boisterously, porcelain plates clanking the sound of horse-footed footprints walking down the street and the traffic.Jamie laughed.

"Mark said you were a liar but he never said Draicon was a big braggart."

Anger obscures Damian's view."your brother is a petite liar. A dangerous liar. I know you must have suffered so much and been terrified when you lost her."

You killed him, wanted Jamie to scream but he bit his lip and spit his fingers into a pattern formed on the sugar on the table." Do you know how he died?"

"I know how he died.He wasn't the man you were all along, Jamie. When you're ready, I'll tell you what I know. I know how painful it feels to lose a family member."

"You don't know what it's like," Jamie sighed.

A shadow flashed across his face."I know, more than you realize."Damian's pair of green eyes circulated a glance around the space . Jaw tightens. "We have to go. Nowow. I'm sensing. You're not safe here. You should go home and rest."

Rest. That idea looks fun. Jamie stand. Anxiety breaks out when Damian joins her.

"I'm coming with you. Let's just say I'm your guest." Damian smiled a jail full of naughty promises. The soft sheets that cool their body heat stick to each other as they unite in passion.....

Stopit! Jamie ran away but Damian easily matched his pace.

"Am you can't afford it there's an animal shelter around here. They house wild animals" Jamie exclaimed in annoyance.

The 182-centimeter-tall werewolf stared at him forcing Jamie to blink and avert."You're my partner Jamie. My herd. And the herd travels together. That's how we're gonna be safe. I won't leave you so get used to accepting my presence for good."

Damian holds his elbow an ancient gesture that shows courtesy but has another greater purpose. He was trapped as a prisoner of the man. Too tired to fight Jamie walked along. As they passed Jackson Square approaching the cathedral, Damian suddenly stopped. A violent smile was engraved on his lips.

"Ah, I saw an old friend. Wait here," he ordered, leading Jamie to the park bench. Grateful for that, Jamie sat down. He was intrigued when he observed the Draicon coming through the door where Damian had kissed him. That door is open. Strange, because the building was empty and...

Stupid timing. Jamie's not taking orders. Dust and debris filled the empty space. Damian stood far away at the end, trapping a short-bodied old man wearing khak pants and a checkered short-sleeved shirt. Jamie recognized. The man was a trader who sometimes held his wares on the street near Cafe du Monde, a seller of fresh sea shrimp who disappeared before police could evict him or ask about his license.
