Brian's Intentions

Brian stepped on the path to Siti's house. The smile never faded from the thick lips of the man. 

Sometimes he steps while justifying his hair. Siti's beautiful natural face filled Brian's shadow.

As soon as he reached the front page of Siti's house, Brian was immediately stunned because there were many people there. There are at least four adult men who are shrouding Mr. RT.

At first Brian did not bother. As the head of RT, of course, Siti's father is always visited by guests. Brian walked closer.

"They've defamed our village Mr. RT" exclaimed one of the men who made Brian stop his steps.

Brian was silent while listening. It seemed that the four-man conversation was very serious. Very clear from everyone's expression.

Brian walked slowly closer. He wondered what was going on.

Then Brian patted the back of the man on the shoulder and asked, "What is this, sir? How's rame-rame?"

"So we found Siti again friendly with a man, Mas."

"Huh? Any timing? Which guy?" Brian asked so curious.

"That's it, Mum."

Brian turned his head in the direction the man pointed to and how surprised Brian was to see Tiger sitting in front of Mr. RT.

Brian's eyeballs even widened like they wanted to be dislodged. His heart was pounding so much in shock and he immediately realized that the woman Tiger was after must be Siti.

Brian clenched both hands very strongly. Instantly he brainwashed to find a way to get Siti away from Tiger.

So Brian slipped into the crowd to be able to face directly with Mr. RT.

"I'm sorry, sir," Brian said interrupting Mr. RT's conversation with four farmer men. "I assure you Siti and Tiger did nothing like that."

Tiger turned to the young man who had just come and how happy Tiger was when he saw Brian. He immediately stood up with a smile on his lips. 

"Brian, you know Tiger?" ask Mr. RT.

Brian nodded steadily. "certain, Sir. I'm his friend Tiger and I know very well the nature of my friend."

"He must be defending his friend, sir," one of the residents said.

"Sir, did you see clearly that they were doing something indecent?" Brian asked.

"Yes we saw them kissing while piercing the body" said one of the men and was justified by another.

"But, Sir. It could be that they slipped or something and they accidentally kissed" Brian explained. "Part of the fathers here know Siti well, right? She's a good woman, so how could she do something like that with a new guy."

Brian continued to convince the villagers with convincing words, leaving everyone speechless and nodding their heads slowly.

Brian's words have a point. The four villagers were also indeed not sure if a Siti could do such a thing 

For Brian's explanation, the four residents seemed to bewitched and believed Brian's words.

"Yes too? Where could Siti do such a thing," muttered one of the residents.

"That's it, gentlemen," said Mr. RT who finally raised his voice to give a middle way. "This is my son. I will guarantee that he will not do something that will defame our village. I guarantee it, Fathers."

"All right then. But things like that don't happen again, huh? We don't like it when women and men aren't married but it's hard to get together here."

"Yes, right. And remember one thing. If it turns out they are found again like this we will force them to marry," threatened one citizen to another.

Tiger hugged his best friend and patted him on the shoulder several times.

"Thankfully there is you, Bri. If not, I do not know what my fate will be like," Tiger said with a smile full of relief.

But Brian responded with a flat face. Or rather with a cold expression.

Brian just nodded without saying anything. Tiger then asked why Brian came to Siti's house.

"I have the same business Mr. RT," replied Brian lying. "Mending you back home, Tiger. Mr. Mansur has been waiting for his goats to be brought home."

"Eh, yes, too. I almost forgot, "Tiger patted his eel because he forgot and left the goat of Mr. Mansur's cattle.

Tiger left without saying goodbye to Siti or her father. Brian looked at Tiger's departure with a sour face and an inexplicable look in the eye.

After Tiger was not seen by Brian's gaze, then he stepped to meet Siti who was talking to her father.

"How did this happen, Siti? You saw that, right? People think they're not the same as you."

Siti was downcast between embarrassment and fear of seeing the father's anger. 

"Sorry, Dad. I swear I didn't do anything indecent with that guy."

"Sir RT, sorry," Brian interrupted in a soft voice. "I'm sorry I interfered in this. But I'm sure Siti didn't do anything. My only friend is a playboy."

RT immediately turned his eyes towards Brian. A furious face was still painted on his face.

"Are you sure?"

Brian nodded in response. Then he turned to Siti staring at the girl full of seriousness.

"And so are you, Siti. You have to be careful because he's a playboy cap lizard. Don't get his seduction."

Siti did not answer directly. He was even silent. However, from the look in his eyes Brian can read the contents of Siti's mind that is like not believing in Brian's words.

Then Siti just stood up and walked towards the house. Mr. RT who entered shock with the incident also chose to enter the house to calm down.

Brian clucked and massaged the base of his nose. He wouldn't have expected it to turn out that he and Tiger were after the same woman.

"In my opinion, I'm the one who deserves Siti," murmured Brian with a blank look staring at the expanse of rice fields. "Tiger has a lot of girlfriends. While I don't have a boyfriend yet."

Brian's hands clenched tightly until his veins stood out. Then his lips turned back a smile because in his mind in just emerging ideas.

Then Brian picks up the phone and searches for Rihana's mobile number, Tiger's lover. He chatted with the woman who was agitated because Tiger rarely gave any news.

"You want to know where Tiger is now?" ask Brian.

"Yes, please" replied Rihana. "Do you know where Tiger is now? Don't-don't Tiger ever call me because he's looking for a new girlfriend?"

"That's right," said Brian who laughed inwardly.

"Huh? Any time?" Rihana shouted hysterically at Brian's reply. He looked panicked and angry if Tiger got a new woman.

"You brought samperin here. I'll send Tiger's home address later."

Brian immediately disconnected the phone and the smile on his lips grew. To show his neat teeth.
